stargazing
Summary
Poetically written emotions projected onto Sirius black?

Oh to look at the star and watch it shine.
Oh how bright it shines as we enjoy its light. But unbeknownst to us, it is dying.

For it is lightyears away, but we will never know, for we do not keep it company long enough to watch it falter, flicker and die.
We see its light, marvel at its beauty, but nonetheless, we move on.

But oh it is dying. Yet it shines for us as its last service.

I am a star.

And my greatest pleasure is to shine for all to see, so you will never watch me die.

But I am flickering.

Don't worry though, you won't watch me die. No one will have to watch me die.

So go stargazing, look at the stars, look at me. It is my greatest pleasure for you to gaze as I shine. Because as long as youre looking i will shine. But when you turn your head? Oh when you look away. I will flicker. And you may never see me again.
