Regulus was at home when Sirius came back for Christmas. Not that they ever celebrated it, but that didn't matter.
Sirius was perplexed when Regulus didn't immediately run into his arms. Regulus had a wall put up by now and Sirius couldn't understand why or how it was so difficult to climb over.
The Christmas holidays passed them like a bird flying over their heads, and soon Sirius was back on the scarlet red train. Regulus didn't see him off again.
January 10th, 1971
Regulus sat in his room, cuddling an old sweater of Sirius'. His only real comfort nowadays, really. Now Sirius was a Gryffindor, a disappointment to their parents. Yet Sirius was his brother.
