0.17 - A Student's Negligence

The sun peeked through the royal blue curtains, reaching inside the dormitory, where Celestine was already awake but too groggy to get up.

A few more seconds, she told herself, closing her eyes.

Little did she know, a silver tabby cat wagged its tail and leaped onto Celestine’s bed, meowing.

“What the hell?”

Celestine opened her eyes and sat up, shrieking as the cat leaped off the bed and turned into Professor McGonagall.

“Do you know what time it is?”

She got off her bed and began making the bed, as McGonagall spat, baffled at such student negligence.

“Uh, 8 in the morning?”

“It’s half past 12, Celestine.”

Celestine stood up straight as Professor McGonagall let her off this time, telling her to bathe and dress neatly before meeting her in the Library, located on the first floor of the Training Grounds tower.

Before the raven-haired girl left the dormitory, she looked outside the arched window and admired the bright weather until a guy on a flying broom crashed right outside her window.

Celestine breathed through her teeth and laughed as the guy fixed his hair and looked down at his broom.

“You okay?”

Celestine asked, receiving a sheepish nod in return.

“Well, I’ll see you around.”

The guy said before flying down, as Celestine left the dormitory and headed to the library.
