0.9 - An Argued Decision

The more time Celestine spent time with Harry, the more she knew about the Wizarding world with its awes and icks. Every time they ran into somebody Harry knew, he would introduce Celestine as his friend. But would she even consider him a friend? And would he consider her as well?

But today? Today was the new school year for the students at Hogwarts, meaning that Celestine could have a possibility of being left behind.

“What if I can’t come with you, Harry?” Celestine asked, carrying Hedwig and cage, and Harry’s school bag.

“You managed to get into Diagon Alley. Surely you have some wizard in your family.” Harry frowns, pushing the trolley with his luggage in it.

“But what if I can’t get through the barrier? What do we do then, huh?” She raised her eyebrow. “I’m not mad, don’t worry.”

“Then we’ll see.” Harry frowned. They began passing Platforms 5 and 6, being surrounded by people, old and young, big and small, Muggle and Wizard–it was more overwhelming for Celetine than she could ever imagine.

As they reached the pillar between Platforms 9 and 10, she stacked Hedwig, who was inside her cage, on top of Harry’s luggage.

“You go first.” Harry looked up at Celestine.
“Why me?” Celestine crossed her arms and leaned against the pillar between 9 and 10, causing her to trip and fall to the floor.

Woah, this is trippy.

Her vision was a mix of Harry pulling her up in front of her and a large red steam locomotive train behind. She must’ve been seeing things while she stood up. Everything sounded and smelled normal, but seemed? That might be the pit bottom for her to rank.

“Let’s go, then.” Harry pushed his trolley and headed to the train, followed by a not-so-sure Celestine when no eyes were on her, even when they reached a booth that consisted of Harry’s two best friends; Ron and Hermione, and a sleeping man who seemed to be a new professor at Hogwarts.

“Hi.” Celestine bowed her head as Harry lifted his trunk and stored it in its respective compartment before sitting beside the man, leaving her to stand in the doorway.

“Hello.”
“Nice to meet you.”

Ron and Hermione said simultaneously.

“Uh, sit down.” Ron stood up and offered his seat, making eye contact with Celestine.
“It’s alright.” She smiled, assuring the red-haired boy. “I prefer standing more.”
