WHAT THE HELL?!
Cross groaned as X kept berating him. It wasn't like it was his fault that Horror destroyed their hidden chocolate stash! But noo, X was yelling at him for it! It wasn't like he did anything to help, he just sat there watching! Cross kept sulking while trying to ignore X. Now, normally this wouldn't be a bad thing, but Cross had teleported to an unknown AU to try and get some space to calm down. It appeared to be a surface AU, one where either 1: the monsters made it to the Surface or 2: there were no monsters. Ink never made them and those types of AUs didn't pop up often. Just in case, Cross made certain to stay out of sight, as he highly doubted a skeleton monster would go over well with those types of humans, if there had never been monsters.
Since he was focused on X and trying to calm down from having all of his chocolate brutally destroyed by an unapologetic Horror, Cross was not paying attention to his surroundings. So when he came across the floating, black cloaked creature that gave off feelings of fear and made him shiver, well naturally he yelled and grabbed his sword to defend himself. What happened next can only be described as a comedy of errors.
Dementor's POV:
I sense food. Oh, powerful food, this will be fun, like green eyed boy with pretty Soul I hope. And- dear sweet food, WTF? Why are two Souls, but one body? Why Souls broken? Not like Dark One's Soul, different. Aw, funny Soul person has sword, I'll scare it, this will be fun!
Back to Cross:
Cross stared at the.. thing in front of him. Grabbing his sword, he started to back up, only to hit something and somehow falling forwards instead of backwards. As he fell, Cross flailed his arms around, trying to catch himself, but he had forgotten his sword was in his hand. While he was flailing, his sword hit the creature in front of him in the... face? Well, where it's face should be anyways, as the creature had been leaning forward to do something. With a loud shriek, the thing exploded into a flash of bright light.
When Cross looked up from his spot on the floor, all he could do was gape. He saw nothing but shattered Soul shards where the creature was, but there were too many to have belonged to the creature. The Soul shards were in all different colors, though Kindness, Bravery, and Justice traits were the ones he saw the most of. As he looked around, he never saw the young Soul that vanished, a pair of hands appearing through a portal to scoop it up.
??? POV:
"Oh, my poor child. Chaos and Destiny certainly weren't expecting Fate to go this far while playing her games, but what do you expect from a child? Ah well, time to fix everything. Starting with you, my Child. No matter what Fate says, I Chose you first." The unknown deity said, smiling softly at the young Soul in her hands. Opening another portal, she gently deposited the Soul where it belonged, looking at her Child with soft eyes, while simultaneously snapping Fate's strings on her Child. "Welcome home, Harry Potter." she whispered, then closed the portal.
On a bed in the Doodlesphere, Ink sat up with a gasp and reached his hand up to rub at a scar that was no longer there. He looked around in confusion, then gripped his head in pain as centuries of memories slammed themselves into place. He whimpered and curled up into a ball, his eye sockets filling with tears. "Oh Merlin, what have I done?" he asked himself.
