Cedric didn't fully regain conscious thought and awareness until the age of 4. Despite this his life as a babe was anything but bogstandard. He walked earlier then most babies, talked faster then most babies and was less emotional then most babies.
Must be muscle memory cedric hurumped himself while playing with the two twin toddlers hair as the slept. Jaime and cersei born roughly 2 and half years later then his own birth. Being an elder brother was a new experience for cedric but not one he isn't adapted well to. The golden child showers them with affection makes silly faces and makes jaime giggle much to the displeasure of father " lions don't lower themselves to perform for others" tywin once admonished him.
guess new siblings is a worthy trade for such a cold father cedric thought grimly. In his old life cedric was used to a father consistently smiling , cheering encouraging and supporting his progeny. But all tywin does is have him strut around like a show pony for the oos and aahs of people meeting him and being impressed by how tall he was for his age or how learned he was or apparently his weird yet pleasing eyes. We don’t perform my ass that's all YOU have taught me how to do.
Cedric new body did have some things in common with his old one such as height build and facial structure but his hair and eyes were different. Unlike the lannister gold his hair was a brighter shade like sunlight given form, his eyes however, were an inversion of his new father bright aureate with fleches of emerald instead of vice versa.
After leaving the twins cedric visited the library a habit he has made after his reawakening to learn more about the new world he has inhabited. It took him longer then he liked to admit to realise he was back in the middle ages.
Reading made the young lannister aware of various different things. One this place... sucked magic has weakened in this world significantly to the point where most of his spells are weaker or straight up don't work. The royal family was more pureblood then most pureblood families I mean marriage between brother and sister for centuries? Even the crown prince 4 years my elder is about as inbred as it comes.
Dragons used to be alive but were ridden and tamed by the Royal family at one point? And valyrian from what he is seen from the books sounds like a worse bastardised parcel tongue. Though cedric himself lacked the talent for it the slitherin friends he had and teachers whom could speak it taught him enough when he asked about it to satiate his own curiosity.
Maybe bringing back magical creatures will help with my magic? Though I doubt or want to bring back dragons sounds like a political mess waiting to happen and my last experience against a dragon was... unpleasant.

Hippogriffs griffins pegasi and eagles should be easy enough to bring back atleast I mean how can I call myself a huffleputh if I can't atleast do that?
TThere a cosmic hilarity to being a huffleputh being born in a house with lions.
Lost in thought cedric does not notice his mother sneaking up behind him and ruffling his hair
" shouldn't boys your age be more interested in knights and honour"

Cedric then to precedes to explain everything he knows about dragons from this world despite the fact her mother probably already knows. He recollects when his old father and teachers found it endearing when he did it with them and how now his new mother seems to enjoy it too.
