Everyone was in high spirits on halloween, nearly every 5th 6th and 7th year had consumed enough firewhisky to make them unaware of their actions. Remus had full control of Sirius' record player and both of them were screaming along to some Bowie song that only the two of them would care about.
No one cared about their questionable music though, as they were too drunk. Although it seemed that Sirius wanted everyone singing the song now, so he casted a charm, which projected the words the record player was blaring into the common room. Then he hopped up on a table and started to belt out the lyrics, attracting people.
As Sirius was causing absolute chaos Lily came up next to James, resting her head on his shoulder.
"How ya doing," she slurred, but just slightly due to the fact that she handled her drinks so well.
James rested his head on hers and didnt respond because he didn't need to. He turned his attention back to sirius' performance as he pulled a slightly embarrassed Remus onto the table. The whole common room cheered and started singing the lyrics in the air.
"Your face your race the way that you talk I kiss you your beautiful,I want you to walk!" They screamed. Then Sirius pulled Remus in for a kiss as everyone hooted and hollered and sung the next bit.
"We've got 5 years, stuck on my eyes. Five years, what a surprise. We've got 5 years, my brain hurts a lot. Five years, that's all we got!"
With that James kissed lily's forehead as she drifted off to sleep on his shoulder.
