Hermione Granger was positively losing her mind. At first, she had been nothing short of impatient to get back to Hogwarts. To get back to normal and leave the past behind. As Head Students but also co-consultants on a mysterious case of particularly upset books, Malfoy and she were about to get up close and way too personal. Headmaster McGonagall threw out all her plans of playing it safe in her once-and-for-all final year at Hogwarts. With Malfoy as an icy, sarcastic bodyguard at her side, things were about to get complicated.Draco Malfoy expected nothing but a cruel year at Hogwarts, especially with being ordered to accept the rank of Head Boy in exchange for a probationary period. That was until McGonagall threw him a bone. In the shape of a mystery and a bushy-haired girl. Solve the case, keep Granger in one piece, and she’d work her Headmaster magic to get him accepted into Cambridge’s Potioneer program. All he had to do was behave.
