It was a cold winter evening during 7th year, and it was the Marauders monthly game night. Once a month the Marauders had game night. Sometimes they would play wizard games and sometimes they would play muggle games. Remus had introduced Sirius, James, and Peter to his favorite games.
Now that they were of age they had decided to introduce alcohol into their monthly game night. The only problem with that was sometimes when Sirius and Remus were drinking they would start to get more flirty with each other. They have been dating since 5th year. Well it was really Remus who got more flirty. Sirius would flirt with Remus any chance he got regardless if he had been drinking or not.
They had just finished playing a game of exploding snap, and were trying to decide what game to play next. Sirius suggested they play strip poker, and James told him no. When Sirius asked why James told him, because you will try and use it as an excuse to flirt with Moony. Which usually ends with you two making out and Pete and I having to find somewhere else to sleep for the night.
After discussing it for a bit they agreed to play Monopoly. Pete had suggested it and James was quick to get on board with the suggestion, because he thought that it would be the hardest game for Sirius and Remus to flirt with each other with, but little did he know he was wrong.
They had been playing the game for a bit before Remus and Sirius started flirting. It started when Sirius pulled a card from the community chest that said go to jail on it. He said, "Moony, I was a bad boy and I need to be punished." Remus said, "yea Padfoot I can think of a couple of ways to punish you. How bad of a boy you were depends on which one I use." Sirius said, "I was a really bad boy and you might need to spank me." James told Sirius to stop it and took the dice to roll for his turn
They had been playing the game for about half an hour and Pete was out already having lost all his money. He was over on his bed trying to read a book and ignore Sirius and Remus flirting with each other. They had been getting more flirty with each other, and it was starting to get more inappropriate. It was Sirius' turn and when he moved his token he ended up on one of the train spaces. He said, "Moony I get to ride the train, but I can think of something else I would rather ride." Then he winked at Remus. James was getting uncomfortable and he glanced over and could see that Pete also was.
After playing for a while longer James was thankful that the end of the game was in sight. Both he and Sirius were almost out of money.It was Sirius' turn again. He rolled the dice and moved his token. He landed on one of Remus' properties. Sirius looked at Remus and said, "I don't have the money for rent this month. Is there another way I can pay?" Remus said, " I can think of a couple ways." Before Sirius could respond James said, "This is Monopoly will you two stop it." Sirius said, "Come on Prongs we are just having some fun." James said, "No you two have been extremely flirty and inappropriate all night."
Sirius said, "no we haven't been, we have been acting how we always do." Then got up and walked over to Remus sitting on his lap and said, "Now how about we find a way for me to pay that rent." He then kissed Remus, and they started making out. James pushed Sirius so he fell off of Remus lap, and Sirius said, "hey what did you do that for?" James told him if you two want to hook up go find somewhere else, because Pete and I are sleeping in our own beds tonight.
Remus stood up and helped Sirius up and said, "come on Padfoot I know where we can go." Then he grabbed the invisibility cloak and the map, and he and Sirius left. Once the door shut James looked at Pete and could see that he was very uncomfortable and he said, "I think we might have to exclude alcohol from game night from now on." Pete was quick to agree saying that Sirius and Remus were flirty enough without it. Meanwhile Sirius and Remus with the use of the map and the cloak made their way to the room of requirement.
