Choco Drizzle Cookie never cared much for romance. After all, her missions from her master have always came first.

She hid herself behind a cold, stoic demeanour, almost never cracking no matter the person. Cookies feared her for who she was, distancing themselves from her as much as they could. She didn’t have many friends aside from her sisters, to which, she didn’t mind.

But one thing that was odd? You couldn’t find her anywhere past dawn.

Choco Drizzle Cookie shivered, wrapping her arms around herself as she trudged through the vast and lush forest, grunting as she reluctently pushed aside the numerous hanging branches that seemed to always be in her way. Just to her luck- It happened to be raining, the showering raindrops soaking and moisturizing her once dry hair- But she didn’t pay too much mind. After all, she had more important things at hand, such as meeting up with someone. Someone special. She couldn’t help but make a small smile at the thought, as she continued to push forward, her boots squelching in the mud and puddles. The sun had set by now, and she was alone. It was just her, the rain, and the deep woods. Atleast, it was, till finally…

After what felt like ages and ages of trudging through rain, mud and puddles, she arrived at her destination. A luscious, large shrub, taller than her or any cookie she’d ever seen loomed over her. She pondered for a moment if this was in fact the right spot, but her concerns were then eased, upon hearing the faint, barely audible melody of a guitar. Choco Drizzle hummed, before pushing aside the shrub, and seeing him.

Clover Cookie, her long time lover, sat peacefully upon a stump. He looked absolutely gorgeous to her, lost in the melody of his own song. Their relationship was a secret, and they arranged meetups daily, all around the same time. Her lips curled upwards into a smile, as she approached the individual, her movements silent as to not disturb him. Upon finishing his song, he inevitably noticed the girls presence. He grinned, placing his guitar to the side of the stump. “Choco!! I missed you!!!” Clover Cookie exclaimed, practically tackling the girl in a hug, to which she let out a content sigh.

Clover Cookie was always big on physical affection and touch. That was his love language. But yet, Choco Drizzle was not, but, she had her exceptions. How could she resist her lovers touch? She wrapped her arms gently around his waist as he nuzzled into her neck, leaving a few small kisses here and there. “You say that every day. I come at the same time every day.” She chuckled, earning another sigh from her partner. “Wellll doesn’t mean it’s not true, now does it!!” He leaned back, booping her nose.

This was their routine. Every day once the sun has set, they would meet up under the stars. It was rather cheesy, in Choco Drizzles opinion, but Clover liked it, so she did too. Clover gently grabbed Choco Drizzles hand, drawing his thumb along her knuckles whilst humming a tune. “Dear, have you eaten at all today??” He chirped, his deep, green eyes locking onto her brown ones. She went silent, looking down in a rather shameful manner.

Clover Cookie let out a long sigh, tilting her head upwards. “Hey now, look at me.” His tone softened as he spoke to her. “I’m not mad, but I’m really starting to worry about you, Choco. It seems as if you never eat nowadays.” Her lover stared at her with a concerned, yet affectionate gaze.

She hesitated. “Clover Cookie- You know I get busy with missions- I don’t have TIME-“ “No.” He abruptly cut her off, earning a confused pause from her.

”No??.. What do you m-“

”I mean no, Choco Drizzle Cookie.”

The girl stared at him, perplexed and taken aback. He didn’t usually tend to get stern with her, yet here she was. “I… don’t understand. Really Clover Cookie, I’m alr-“ But then, before she could finish protesting, she was cut off once more by his lips meeting hers in a sudden, rushed kiss. She went wide-eyed, feeling her usual serious expression shift to a flustered one. The kiss lasted longer than she expected, and when Clover Cookie pulled away, he was gasping for air. His face was jam red, and he pulled his hat down over his face. “Oh. I- Don’t-“ He nervously mustered up. The two both froze, turning away.

There was an awkward tension lingering in the cold air, the two unable to meet eachothers gaze, before Choco Drizzle finally spoke up. She cleared her throat. “Uh- Um. I….” She went quiet once more, adjusting her glasses. “I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I-“ She hushed, her voice barely above a whisper. “Could you do that again?… For no reason at all, of course.” Clover Cookie gawked. Did she really just say that? This wasn’t like her at all. He stared at her with a gobsmacked expression.

”A- Are you serious??” He stuttered, nervously exhaling. She gave him a small nod, turning to face him. He paused, before carefully placing a hand on her cheek. Clover Cookie gulped, before pulling her into another kiss. This time, it was more gentle, more affectionate. Choco Drizzle placed both hands on his shoulders, her eyes fluttering shut as she leaned in. It’s as if she was in a trance. It was unbelievable how much someone can make you come out of your shell. She never, EVER lets her guard down.. Except for when she’s near him. And thats one of the things he loved.

Once they pulled away, they pressed their foreheads together, still embraced in eachothers touch. Clover Cookie smiled. “Looks like the oh so scary swordman has a gentle side to her.” He teased, earning an aggressive squeeze. “Never. Say that again.” She glared, shifting back to her cold persona. He chuckled, cheeks still tinted pink. “I love you.”

Those three words, and her lips curled back into a smiled. She buried her face into his shoulder. “I love you too.”
