Mr. Black née Snape

He had opted for lighting some candles for the night. A sweet scent of vanilla was lingering in the air, making the atmosphere sweeter. The water was still warm against his skin. He admired the view in front of him.

The sunken bathtub though a sparkling white couldn’t compete at all with Severus’s skin.

The slim torso was unblemished.

The narrow waist was encaged in his arms. And the head holding all that black wet hair was softly brushing his collarbone. Severus has relaxed totally against him.

- What do you want, Sirius? – The deep velvety voice caught him off guard in his musings.

- I want you, obviously – He couldn’t see but he could feel how Severus rolled his eyes.

- I mean out of marrying me, Sirius – although the voice didn’t waver it was lower.

- I did mean what I said at your home – he said confidently.

- Yeah, but why me? You could have made the same proposition to anyone – he tried to move and turned but Sirius’s arms prevented it.

- Shh – he blew near his ear – I am your husband now. Nothing else matters.

Severus was just curious. He had heard before Sirius' statements, and they made sense. Now he wasn´t sure anymore that payback was the only motivation behind him. Not after he had made love to him. There was no way.

While at Hogwarts he wasn’t friends with many people, he was included in the only activity that pertained every human being that new how to communicate with others: Gossip. He had heard the idle chattering in the common room. How Sirius was a passionate and beastly lover, how he would devour women and men and left them after using them. That discourse didn’t match his husband at all.

He had been prepared to bear his marital duties. His mother had told him once, eyeing him appreciatively, that if he was ever uncomfortable with his husband sexual attention, then he would need to put in some effort, tired him out. He was prepared to be a cooperative partner even if it was only as a way to make Sirius finish earlier. But all the worrying was for naught.

Sirius was extraordinarily careful and mindful of him. He was caressing and kissing every nook in his body. He spent a lot of time trying to make him feel comfortable and prepared enough for them to consummate their marriage. He was gentle until he had asked for more.

He didn’t serve Sirius, Sirius served him.

Lovingly.

He was not prepared for a loving Sirius. Or a loving husband for that matter.

He had thought about it many times. He had made a list of possible candidates. There were only two people though. Lucius Malfoy and Evan Rosier.

Lucius was his friend. His very first friend that wasn’t Lily. He had approached him with ulterior motives and ended up being charmed by him. Although he wasn’t beautiful or easygoing most of the time, he still got to worm his way into Lucius heart. He had given him books and clothes, money even. He was so invested in their relationship that he had introduced him to his fiancée, now wife, Narcissa.

Cissa was also happy to be around him. Enjoying his sarcasm and sharp jokes. His shy demeanor too, when he let her see it, rarely as it was. Cissa had once confided in him that she likes him a lot. She was so comfortable with him that have whispered in his ear that if the case arouses then it would be alright for him to be a side spouse. After all, Malfoy’s accepted half-bloods but not as main spouses. He had a nice relationship with Lucius and knew very well that if he wanted to be a side spouse it wouldn’t be difficult.

He had plan it once, when he saw himself with no money left after going back home. He would apparate to Malfoy Manor, he would ask Lucy to drink away his problems with him. Then, he would take Lucius to bed and cry bitterly about being used and unable to find a proper husband after what they have done. His Lucius that has a weak heart when it comes to him would have proposed a side marriage. He would have taken the Malfoy name and hyphened it with his. Severus Snape-Malfoy didn’t sound as nice as Severus Black though. Also, the status was not the same. A proper bride took his husband’s name, a side spouse could only add it to his own, never leaving his maiden one and never being able to take fully on his husband family.

It would be a little anticlimactic, he would have had to move to France with his children. They would attend Beauxbatons and they would have reunited as family for Christmas and Easter, all hosted by Narcissa obviously, she is and will be the only Lady Malfoy that Lucius will ever have. He would have lived in a beautiful French villa in the countryside, living off Lucius for a few years while he gave him a child or two and then he would dive right into his Masteries.

It would be more or less the same case if he were to strike a relationship with Evan. For accomplishing that he would have needed to coincidentally meet him, enticed him, and then denied him as much as he could. He would let Evan think that he had to chase after him and propose a side marriage if he wanted to get between his legs, much more like the deal he had strike with Sirius. Evan would propose out of a need to own him, and Lucius would have owned him first and then drown in guilt. But he wasn´t really in the mood to play push and pull with Evan, much less act as a blushing virgin that shied away from his attentions. Also, Evan was not a Lord, it was frown upon for a man that wasn´t a noble to get side spouses.

Actually, he preferred how his marriage has come to fruition. Him, asking for a marriage out of dignity. Striking while the iron was still hot. A proper marriage. They had been married with a standard marriage. There was no way he was going to sign any clausula to allow Sirius to marry side spouses. Hell would freeze first before he accepted sharing his husband. They have vowed to be faithful after all.

If Sirius continued to be good to him then he would make sure that Sirius wouldn´t even think of straying from him.
……………………………….
It seemed that he didn’t need to put much effort. As weird as it may seem to think about it, Sirius looked utterly smitten with him. It was fun actually. They have gone to Paris for their honeymoon. An obviously out of thin air honeymoon. It had been a week of sex, wine and cheese. Paris was bustling and it seemed nice to be able to eat and buy everything he wanted.

His husband hadn’t denied him anything he asked for. He went happily and willingly to get him anything he wanted. He had gotten many clothes pieces already. All muggle.

He had vehemently refused to get any piece of clothing that Sirius suggested, avoiding all rock and roll, glam rock, and whatnot. He had allowed Sirius to get him a nice black leather jacket with some silver spikes. His first jacket that was totally and uniquely his.

He had enjoyed going to a different breakfast every morning, going around tasting pastries in the afternoon, walking by the Seine, tasting wines and cheese in beautiful dinners arranged by the candlelight. He hadn’t thought that he would like it, but he loved riding with Sirius in his broom in the late afternoon when they went south for a day. He was loving being married to Sirius. But that was the honeymoon.

Now, they must go back.

He will start his life as Sirius househusband.
