Y/N's POV:
"Watch where you're going, filthy blood-traitor." Draco hissed as he pushed me making me fall to the ground. Harry, Hermione, and Ron were shocked and helped me up before looking at Draco with a dirty look plastered on their faces.
"You don't have to do that, Malfoy," Harry yelled, I took hold of his Gryffindor robe, he looked at me and I signaled him to let it be. His eyes softened a bit but disappeared when Draco interrupted us.
"Or what, Potter?" Draco challenged him as he took a long stride making his way to Harry. Hermione and Ron were about to block him from Draco when I suddenly went in the middle of the two nemesis.
"Please, you don't have to fight here in the hallway," I said timidly. I shifted to look at Draco and bowed at him making him as well as the Golden Trio look at me in shock.
"I apologize if I made you mad with what I did," I said, he only stared at me for a minute before turning around and said," Y-you don't have to do that." He sneered but also stuttered. With that, he walked away, Crabbed and Goyle following him behind.
Harry suddenly puts his hands on my shoulder, checking if I have a wound. I shook my head at his protectiveness." I'm fine, Harry." I reassured him.
"After what I witnessed earlier, I don't think so." He said as we walked to our next class.
"Bloody hell, Malfoy is being too mean for you this year. I don't know what happened, but he is targeting you now." Ron pointed it out, and Hermione smacked her book at Ron making him grunt.
"Stop it, Ron. You're going to scare her away. But it's true, Y/N, his attention was not on us anymore. I noticed him always looking at our table towards you" Hermione agreed with Ron anyway.
I stared at the ground blushing, not looking at the trio. 'Draco was always staring at me?' I ask myself. If you have been wondering, yes, I did have a crush on the Slytherin Prince, Draco Malfoy. I have been since 1st year. Other students here in Hogwarts were terrified of him, he's a bit intimidating towards others. His pride overshined, especially to Harry. I've been wanting to confess to him but can't because he sees me as a blood traitor after I was sorted in Gryffindor, his impression of me changed and he added me to his list of The Embarrasement of the Wizarding World. So I looked at him far to even reach him. I knew I was out of his league, I'm too shy, too kind, and can't even defend myself.
Sometimes, others would see me as a weakling to be a Gryffindor, and that I should be in Hufflepuff instead. I don't know why the Sorting Hat even put me in the Gryffindor, it would be much better if I indeed went to the Hufflepuff's house, that way, they wouldn't even bother me.
_____________
Draco's POV:
"Stupid Y/N, acting all innocent in front of Potter." I huffed, my hands on my chin while I waited for Professor Snape to enter and begin the class.
I know that I've been mean and harsh on her and her friends since I met them. I didn't get the chance to be friends with her because Potter had already stolen it. And about earlier, I hate how Potter looked at her as if his eyes were twinkling like she's some ray of sunshine. She is indeed, but that's not the point. The point is I really hated it when she looked at him, only she got to do that with me for Merlin's sake, why him honestly?
That infuriated me, I was so mad that I accidentally called her a blood traitor. Her facial expression when I swore those words to her made me want to erase it so many times, yet the damage had been done. The only way I could approach her was to bully her, So I began to bully her as an excuse to come closer to her, it's a selfish thing to do but what better options do I have when she already hates me?
But does she?
I was too distracted to even notice that Professor Snape had already begun the lecture. Blaise nudges my side bringing me back from reality, and snapping me out of my daze.
"Turn to page 394." He said in a monotone. I grabbed the book to find the page that the Professor assigned us. I also noticed that the Trio and Y/N aren't here yet. That's when I heard to door slam open, making all of us look at the door.
"The four of you, detention. Mr.Potter, I would appreciate it if you don't drag more students to your party." Snape stated eyeing Y/N who is looking down at the ground.
"I'm sorry, Professor Snape." She mumbled and went to take a seat, the three following her.
"Apologizing is not gonna get you out of detention, Miss Y/L/N, you should know that being too kind will only lead to stabbing you in the back." He blankly said.
What does he mean by that statement?
I glared at Snape when he said that. How dare he humiliate her in front of all the students in the class. I wasn't aware how she is suppressing from crying as I was busy shooting daggers from our Potion Teacher.I put back my attention on the book as the class started again.

Y/N POV:
I stared blankly on my lap, too embarrassed to even look up and listen to Professor Snape's lesson about werewolves. I wanted to cry so badly. Hermione who was behind me, patted my back, Ron and Harry looking at me concerned. Suddenly, Harry grabbed my hands and held them firmly. I looked at Harry and smiled.
We always hold hands with each other in a particular situation. I always thought of him as my big brother as he thought of me as a little sister. Students were curious about my relationship with Harry.
After Snape's lesson, it was time for students to leave the class and what was left of me and the trio was the detention. Our task was to organize all of Professor Snape's cabinets full of potions. We were careful not to break any of their potions because if that happened, then we were going to greet the four founders of Hogwarts.
As we were busy stacking, Harry tapped my shoulder making me look at him." Hey Y/N, do you wanna maybe do your thing in the Black Lake? You know." He stammered. I looked at him confused for a second before I realized what he was talking about. Ron and Hermione heard him so they approached us.
"Is it really a good time to make her do her magic?" Hermione asks.
"Well, it's not like I'm trying to force her to do that. I just want her to be happy again after what Professor Snape said to her. The Black Lake is her favorite place to feel serene and do stuff" Harry emphasized.
"What's your call, Y/N? Do you want to?" Ron asks. Both of them waiting.
My favorite place was indeed Black Lake. It is the only place that I can use my magic, but this magic is something else, something a wand can't comprehend in the owner's will. Only the Golden Trio knows, hell even Dumbledore knows it.
"Alright, I'll go. It's been days since I didn't come and visit that place." I shrugged as the three of them smiled at each other.
"Hey, Y/N. Could it be possible that our Patronus can go along with you?" Ron asks, his eyes beaming.
"Let me see, yes it is possible for the patronus to come with me. It would be more ecstatic than before." I smiled.
We talked more about how are we going sneak past the prefects. Especially that Draco Malfoy is one of the prefects makes it harder to go out.
"How about this, I'll use a spell that'll immobilize him for a temporary time," Harry stated proudly. Me and Hermione looked at him with worry.
"Are you sure about that? Isn't that quite a bad thing to do?" I ask.
"What it's not like he is going to see who jinxed him." He said.
"But he's going to hear your voice and immediately recognize you, obviously" Hermione crossed her arms.
"Oh right," He muttered as he scratched his neck from embarrassment.
"Anyway, let's hurry up, don't wanna make another detention from our next Professor if we get late," Hermione mentioned and the four started to put potions at the right place again.
TIME SKIP...
"We'll see you later, Y/N." The Golden trio bid me goodbye as I made it through the library. The class ended a while ago and our Professor gave us some homework to do. I wanted it to be finished as soon as possible so I went to the Library to start them. Harry, Ron, and Hermione won't be able to do it, they told me that they are going somewhere so I left them. They also told me that they will be waiting at the Gryffindor common room tonight.
Yes, we are going to do it tonight after today's events. I wanted to cool myself. I went towards the section on Herbology, taking stacks of books I carried. It was a bit difficult since I couldn't see where I was going.
"Do you need some help?"Someone offered.
"Oh. sure here." I placed the books on someone's hands. When I looked up I widened my eyes when I saw who it was.
"D-Draco? What brings you here?" I stuttered, I wanted to cover my cheeks because they were flaming red from seeing him.
I don't know but I suddenly couldn't hear my surroundings, even though I couldn't hear what is he saying I could only focus on one thing. Him.
His grey eyes, stared back at me, his platinum blond hair neatly tucked. The way those eyes stared at me and smiling makes me weak on my knees.
"Are you even listening?" I stopped myself from daydreaming and looked at him frowning. 'So he's not really smiling' I mumbled in disappointment.
"What?" He asks and I notice how he is already struggling from carrying the books I borrowed. I grabbed a few of them to help him.
"So-sorry about that. What were you saying again?" I ask.
______________
Draco POVS:
"I was saying, I'm here to do our homework from Herbology," I told her as we walked around the library, trying to find a seat.
"I assume you're going to do the Herbology?" I questioned her as we placed her books on a desk far from the others. She nodded her head and placed her bag on the floor as she took out her quill and some parchment to write on. I also took out mine, to do the homework. Herbology is not my thing really, but if she's gonna do them then I might as well start them.
"I apologize for what I did a while back. You know, pushing you to the ground. It wasn't my intention to do that." I finally told her after contemplating, feeling ashamed and guilty all of a sudden.
"No-no it's alright. I forgive you." She smiled softly. How cute.
"You aren't much of a talkative person, are you? I teased her. She giggled and shook her head.
"Not really, well people see me as an annoying person. I mean, it's not like I get to hear this daily." She smiled softly and sat on a chair as I followed suit. I frowned at her words.
"Why would they be annoyed with you?" I ask and also not to sound concerned.
"Well, everyone here seems to not want me in their group nor even want me in the Gryffindor house. They told me that I was too weak to be one of them and that I should be Hufflepuff. I don't know why they poke fun at me and what I did wrong. Luckily, I have friends that I can rely on, Harry, Ron, and Hermione were always there for me. That's why I still stay firm with myself." She smiled sadly as she thought about herself throughout the years of torment and mocks.
I looked at her with sympathy and admiration. I didn't know her fully because I bullied her. I only know little things about her. Merlin, I didn't even know what she had been through. I feel like the worst prick in Hogwarts, she was in pain and I added them more.
"Listen, if others make fun and bully you, come and call me. I know that I am bloody git towards others especially you, I have my reasons." I didn't realize that I was holding her hands and gazing at her bewildered face, I chuckled and faced her.
"You are the most brave, kind, and courageous girl I have ever seen. People don't see your flaws and your strength, they don't deserve your kindness. I admire you really, the way how gentle you are with those people. They are a git if they don't see how wonderful you truly are, darling." I sincerely told her. She looked at me with her mouth agape.

Y/N's POV:
I looked at him with astonishment. The way he said those words made me giddy and butterflies spread and swirled in my stomach.
I couldn't believe, that Draco Malfoy, the one whom they feared and disliked was talking and encouraging me to not let those words sink in me. Draco is really something
I smiled while looking down on the floor. I didn't notice that he was holding my hand that is until I held it tight."Thank you for making me feel special, it really did flatter me." I said while he smiled.
"Don't mention it." He said and unclasp my hand as he took a book. I watched him for a second before I said," You know your smile looks good on you." I mumbled as I shifted my seat. He stops flipping the page and stares at me. I again looked at my lap while blushing.
"I mean you seem more calm and friendly I might say. The hard exterior you are showing is just an act to be prudent of your reputation, I want to see more of your soft interior. There is nothing wrong with you being who you are. I know being an heir of a Malfoy and a Slytherin prince takes a toll on you. You want to fix your mistakes but can't. I know you, Draco. More than you know yourself." I affirmed but at the same time felt nervous.
I said too much didn't I? Oh, dumb Y/N. Look what you've done. I wish I hadn't said those words. He looked at me silently and I was starting to feel embarrassed.
"I-I'm sorry if I offended you or anything." I softly said. You wanted to cover yourself with so many blankets and hide from him.
What you didn't know was that Draco found it endearing, as if you were some kind of a guardian angel, how you share the same care for him, and how you see the truth in himself. He was thankful to you. Even after all he did to you and even he thought you hated him. You're still willing to give him a chance. This is the reason why he fell in love with you.
Unbeknownst to you, he found it adorable how you blushed every time you two looked at each other. He chuckled making your attention turn to him again.
"No, you didn't do anything wrong or say something wrong. As a matter of fact, you just gave me an opportunity for myself." He smiled making you release a breath.
"Oh, I'm glad. I thought you were mad there." I huffed.
"Don't worry, you're too adorable to be mad at. I thought I was the one who you were mad at" He said and I giggled while I attempted to cover my noise, since we were still in the library. Oh, right we were supposed to do the homework.
"Hey, Draco. We forget to do our homework. Let's finish them first." I reminded him.
"But I wanted to talk to you more." He pouted. Gosh, this guy is going to be the death of me.
I tried to compose myself as I looked at him."No, let's finish this first. And we'll talk after we finish them." I told him making him groan but implied anyway.
Time Skip...
_________________
We spent 6 hours talking to each other, our homework was long forgotten. But don't worry we finished it. We talked and laughed about stuff like our favorite subjects, places, foods, etc. He even asked me about my travels in Muggle World because I mentioned that I used to travel in Muggle World. I was a bit shocked that he wanted to know more about them. Usually, when he heard that "muggle" word, he would either be disgusted or make fun of them. But right now, it seems he didn't.
"Oh, before I forgot. I want to ask you something." He said.
"Go on," I gestured for him to continue.
"Do you like someone?" He asks.
I was flabbergasted at his question." Yes, I do like someone. Speaking of him, I am going to meet him later along with Hermione and Ron." I remembered our meet-up before midnight.
I didn't notice the look on his face when I told him that.
"Oh, I see. Does he know though and what's he like?" Draco asks with a hint of sadness in his voice.
"Not really, since he had some reputation to hold onto. He is smart, passionate, and a very charming one. " I laughed as I looked at his face contorted into confusion. How oblivious he is.
"Really, then he must be a bloody git and a jack arse to not know you." He rolled his eyes.
"He's not that bad if you ask me." I shrugged.
"Do I know him, by any chance?" He asks. I wanted to laugh so bad, how could he not realize that he was the one I was talking about?
"I don't know, maybe you do, maybe you don't." I teased and giggled. He just shook his head and smiled turning sideways making me see his side profile. Should I tell him that he is the one that I like? But then I remembered his status. I don't know but I'll take the risk even if he rejects me.
"Uhm, Draco?" I called his name making him turn his gaze back at me.
"Yes?" He mumbled.
"Thank you for helping me today, I appreciate it. And it was nice to have a chat with you." I stammered to my words.
"You're welcome. If you need anything, send me a letter, or might as well approach me." He puts his hand on his nape, I can see a tint of red on his pale cheeks.
"Of course, but aren't your friends gonna be suspicious of why are you hanging out with a Gryffindor like me?" I ask nervously.
He was about to argue with me when suddenly the librarian was behind us.
"Time's up children, better get to your houses." Madam Pince said and walked away.
We started to pack our things before leaving the library. Students were already leaving since it was almost night time and we didn't realize it until the librarian mentioned it.
"Woah I didn't notice that we spent our whole day in the library," Draco said as we walked in the hallway.
"Same," I said. We both stopped in the middle of the hallway, the left side was for the Slytherin while the other was for the Gryffindor. We both stood in silence when I suddenly spoke.
"I guess this is where I'll take my leave," I told him and he nodded.
"It's nice to talk and hang out with you, Y/N," He said and smiled.
"It's nice to talk and hang out with you too, Draco," I said.
"Bye, Draco."
"Bye, Y/N."
We both walk backward until one of us turns and leaves.

Time Skip...
I made my way through the common room after those flights of stairs. As I walked in, Harry, Hermione, and Ron were already waiting for me. Hermione was the first to see me.
"Goodness me, Y/N, where were you? We've been looking for you for hours and we didn't have a clue where you went." She scolded me and I laughed nervously.
"I was just in the library this whole time," I muttered.
"This whole time?" Harry stood, Ron following next to him." How come we didn't think of you in the library." Ron mumbled to himself.
"Yes, and I was with someone." I slapped my mouth even if I already said it.
"Who is it?" The three of them surrounded me.
"It doesn't matter who it was. Let's just prepare for tonight." I stuttered and quickly stride towards my room leaving the three in deep thought.
"I wonder who it was," Ron asks the two.
"It's obviously a boy," Hermione smirked.
"A boy?!" Harry yelled and she smacked his head.
"Shh, be quiet. For Merlin's sake yes, it's a boy. Don't you see the way she blushed after we asked her who it was?" She whispered-yelled.
Harry and Ron shook their heads. Hermione could only roll her eyes at them and mumbled.
"Bloody idiots."
After a few minutes, I walked out of my room. I wore a white turtleneck, a black skirt, and black long socks along with Mary Jane shoes. I still wear my Gryffindor robes for extra heat since it will be cold outside. I walked towards them as they stood up, our wands ready. We tucked our heads in the hoodie"Okay, guys let's go."
_________________
Footsteps can be heard in the hallway. Prefects patrolling different areas to make sure that students won't be going out late at night.
We hid ourselves behind the wall as we saw one of the Prefects scanning the surroundings before going to the other hallway. Harry was the first to walk, and he searched left and right if someone was approaching. After the coast was clear, he signaled us to follow him from behind his back.
We turn left and right through the corridors and dodge every Prefect insight. "Come on, we're almost there," Harry whispered. I held his hand while Hermione and Ron took hold of my robe."Bloody hell, how many hallways do we have to walk on? I'm getting sick of it?" Ron whispered and yelled. "Quiet down, Ron. You might get the Prefect's attention." Hermione whispered back.
"It's making my knees hurt from bending and unbending." He argued. "Then go ahead and stand up, might as well get caught." She said sarcastically. "How about you try them?" Both of them argue making Harry turn towards them. "Both of you be quiet already." He hissed. The two of them shut their mouths.
"Who's there?" We heard the all too familiar voice and the one we hoped not to get run into.
"Great, Malfoy is on our tail now," Harry muttered.
"Show yourself or else I'll light this whole room." Draco threatens, whipping his head around and using the lamp to see the hallway.
We were looking at each other, deciding what to do next. I suddenly got an idea of how to distract him. A grin was plastered on my face as I looked at them. Ron gave me a 'what are you doing' look. But I was already busy forming a ball of water in my hands, using my ability as a distraction would be pleasant to see. I then took a peek at Draco above the fence wall, seeing him as he still tried to find us. I throw the water far away so he can investigate it. He whipped his head so fast that he might break his neck, nevertheless ran to the source of the sound.
"Now" I whispered yelled. We quickly made our way towards the exit of Hogwarts. The four of us laughed and jumped as we successfully ran away from the Prefects.
"That was bloody terrifying, yet also thrilling to experience," Ron said in excitement as we ran towards the Black Lake.
"Lumos!" I said and illuminated a light at the tip of the wand, the others doing the same.
Time Skip,
We soon arrive at the Black Lake. I can feel the breeze and the sound crippling water. The moon shone in the lake making it more dazzling. We walked slowly towards the lake. I began to remove my shoes and my long socks. I put the tip of my toes from the water, feeling the cold surface. I turned towards them and smiled. "We better cast a protective charm so no one can hear us." I reminded them. The three of them nodded and began to perform a silencing spell. After a few seconds, they stopped and brought their attention to me.
[Playing the Mermaid Song in Honor of Kings]
"All good, Y/N. You can start now." Harry reassured. I nodded and looked at Ron and Hermione as they gave me some encouragement, I then look what was in front of me, I closed my eyes, and took a deep breath before opening them. I began to walk slowly in the water, feeling the cool water under my feet made me shiver.
The moon was high in the sky, casting a soft silver light over the Black Lake. I hum a soft tune.
"La,la, la,la." I raised my hands to control the water around me. My hands glowed as well as my eyes. The wind whirls accompanied by leaves. The Golden Trio watched in amazement as I began to levitate, the water below following my every move.
As I sang, the water began to stir. It rose up around me, swirling and dancing to the rhythm of my song. I laughed and began to dance, my movements fluid and graceful. I remember how the first time I went here to cry out what I was feeling and also discovering what I could do brings back memories. How the Golden trio stood there in shock as I revealed my secret. How I practice every night to use my power.
As I danced, the water began to take on new forms. It twisted and turned, forming intricate shapes and patterns. The animals in the water were accompanying me, and some of them jumped around the water, happily. I smiled and continued to sing, my voice growing stronger with each passing moment.
Harry clapped his hands, smiling widely at what he was seeing. Hermione was waving at me as I waved back. Ron was shouting and screaming, excited for the best part to happen.
"Ah, ahhh, ah, ahhh." I sang, bringing everything and letting out my feelings toward the sky while closing my eyes.
Suddenly, the water began to rise around me, lifting me high into the air. I spun around, my body twisting and turning as I soared above the lake. As I reached the peak of my ascent, I raised my wand, looking at Harry, Ron, and Hermione, signaling to them that it was time. The three of them pull out their wands and raise them up into the sky. I closed my eyes and imagined my first interaction with Draco, the way he smiled, the way he laughed, the way he held my hands the first time, the sincerity of his words, and how he looked at me, the way he looked at me. I smiled at the reminiscences.
We shouted,
"Expecto Patronum!" I cast a spell.
A brilliant light shot out from the tip of our wands, illuminating the water below. The light took on the shape of a massive whale, its body shimmering in the silver light of the moon, I looked at Harry and the two.
I ushered them to come along with me, "Come on, this time you'll have to try."
"What?" both of them were quite confused for a second but were dissipated when I suddenly lifted them up and placed them in my whale's back, Ron trying to cling to Hermione who just rolled her eyes at him and smiled anyway. I laughed and rode the whale down to the surface of the lake, with their patronus following them.
Harry held my waist and laughed as the wind blew our faces"Woah, this is so bloody amazing, Y/N," Ron screamed, still terrified from how fast we were flying. I snickered and continued to sing.
As they swam and flew around the lake, Y/N's patronus, created a beautiful trail of light in the dark night sky. Having an enjoyable time in their lives. Little did they know that Draco Malfoy was watching them from a distance, amazed and in disbelief by her abilities. He watched in awe as he saw her beautiful face.
She began to fly higher and higher, all the different fishes in the lake following as well as the patronuses. She was in bliss, her heart began to pound as she was attempting to hit the highest note of her melody.
When they are at the top, they can see the surroundings of the castle. She took a deep breath as well as closed her eyes and finally hit the last note she had been trying for almost a month.
"Ahh~"
The water creates wonderful swirls and splashes down the lake. She huffs and pants as she gleams with ecstasy. And Harry, Ron, and Hermione were also out of breath. Their hearts beat rapidly.
They slowly went down to the ground, their patronus bidding them goodbye as soon as they landed on their feet. The four of us looked at each other before smiling and laughing.
"That was bloody brilliant, Y/N. I wish to do it again if it means risking our lives from the Prefects." He joked.
"I doubt that," I said making him gasp in shock.
"Hey, Y/N, do you wanna stay for a few minutes in the lake?" Harry asks.
"Why of cou-" "She won't stay with you anymore, Potter!"
We both see Draco, marching his way towards us. Harry drew his wand as well and Draco was ready to cast a spell. Hermione and Ron stepped away from them and hid me behind their backs.
"Guys, calm down. There's no need to-" I was again cut off.
"What are you doing here, Malfoy." Harry glared at him. Draco scoffs and points his wand at them. "I could ask you the same thing, Potter." He sneered. The two rivals were glaring so hard that they might shoot lasers from their eyes.
"How did you know we were here?" Harry asks.'Did the silencing spell already in its limits?
"I have my ways. Now, if you don't mind I'll have to escort you back to Hogwarts and you'll explain your reasonings to Professor Umbridge." He grins. Harry curses as he suddenly remembers that he was part of the Inquisitorial Squad.
"You wish, Malfoy. But I guess I'll have to jinx you. Stupefy!" He shouted, aiming his wand at Draco who deflected it.
"Everte Statum." He yelled, Harry didn't move quickly to dodge the upcoming spell so he was thrown back towards the lake creating a big splash of water. Harry took a deep breath, his eyes were on Draco who was smirking, making Harry's blood boil.
"Fine then, Let's duel." He challenged. He quickly went out of the water and cast some spells at Draco who dodged some of them. We watched both of them throw spells at each other. Ron cheers for his best friend while Hermione tries to tell them to stop.
I was standing in the middle, I didn't know what else to do until I had a sudden idea. Well, this would be risky my so-called plan. I clenched my fist and ran towards the middle of them. I heard both of them yell Incendio and Glacius, their aims were at me. Their eyes widened and called out my name as well as Ron and Hermione.
"Y/N!!!"
I tightly closed my eyes, not knowing my hydro abilities were also activated as a barrier. I opened my eyes when I didn't feel any pain inflicted on me. The four of them ran towards me and looked so worried. They asked me if I was okay.
"I'm so sorry, Y/n. If it wasn't for you, she wouldn't get hurt." Harry spat as he pushed Draco.
"I'm sorry," He muttered but still heard it. The three were skeptical of what he said.
"Oh now, you're sorry? What happened to the prideful prick you are?" He said. Draco trying to stay calm after almost harming you.
"Just shut your bloody mouth, Potter." He pushed him. Harry was about to say something until I shouted at them.
"Enough already!" Both of them widened their eyes at my sudden burst.
"Please, don't fight." She whispered, her eyes brimming with tears. Harry's eyes softened and was about to walk towards her when Draco beat him.
She looked at Draco as he tried to wipe her tears using his thumbs."I'm so sorry you had to see us fight again and again. The reason why I followed you was because,
Time rewind,
Draco's POV,
I was walking in the hallway muttering some foul words at Crabbe and Goyle who left me saying that they were going somewhere. That's when I suddenly heard Potter and his so-called friends chatting outside the library. When I turned, Y/N was with them. I hid myself and eavesdropped on their conversation.
"I'm sorry, Y/N we are going somewhere, But we promise you we're going tonight at the Black Lake. We just need to take care of something." Potter said and Y/N only smiled and said, "It's alright, Harry I understand. But you better finish the homework that Professor Sprout gave us or else I might not tag you three with me." She jokingly threatened them making all four of them laugh.
Potter suddenly hugged her making me fume with anger."I'll see you later." He mumbled and patted her head making me lose my breaking point. How dare he flirt with my Y/N. My father will hear about this. Wait no, he already knows.
"We'll see you later, Y/N" The three of them walked away as she waved at them before entering the library.
'This is my chance.' I muttered to myself. I stride towards the door entering.
What's with them going to the Black Lake? Is Potter going to confess his love for my Y/N? Or worse, are they already dating without me knowing? I quickly shook my head from those thoughts swarming me. No, whatever they going to do at the Black Lake, I must follow them and see for myself.
Current Time,
"You eavesdropped on us?" Ron sneered.
"And you thought I was going to confess to her?" Harry added.
It was silent for a moment before Hermione started."You know, you are some type of a stalker trying to be a creep towards her." She puts her arms on her chest and criticizes him.
"Well, I wouldn't given Potter a chance to somehow be his." He exasperated while raising his arms.
"Not like I'm going to steal her. I see her as my little sister, you dimwitted fool, nothing else." Harry rolled his eyes as Draco looked at him dumbfounded."Really?"
"Yes, do I have to repeat myself?" He placed his hands on his forehead, tired of Draco.
Unaware of them that Y/N who was still processing what Draco told them minutes ago suddenly realized something. She was blushing madly at the thought and she was hoping that it was true"Uh, guys. Can you leave us for a second? Me and Draco are going to talk." I said as the Golden Trio and Draco looked at me skeptically.
"And why would we leave you to this bloody git?" Ron asks.
"Please, I'll tell you later. You three can go ahead and go back to the dormitory. I'll follow later." I pleaded. Harry was about to protest when Hermione dragged both of the boys away. Hermione then gave her a knowing look and mouthed I knew and you can do this.' before leaving both boys were arguing.
The both of them were quiet, not knowing what to do or say to each other until Draco coughed to catch her attention.
"That was beautiful." He starts as I stare at him as he continues."Your voice was angelic and you danced so graciously." He gazes at the valley of the Black Lake, thinking through his next words."You were happy at that moment, I didn't want to ruin your melodies." He shifted back his eyes on her as she admired his face glimmering in the moonlight.
The soft and slow sounds of the lake as it flows. The peacefulness and quietness of their surroundings. She approaches him, the crunches below her feet are heard, her shoes still in the corner not wearing yet. When she stood in front of him, a few inches away.
"You've found one of my secrets." She told him.
"Don't worry, your secret is safe with me." He reassured her, thinking that she would be afraid once the truth came out. He doesn't need to question her why and how she got those abilities because he knows she'll tell him eventually. She nodded and fumbled her robe, about to ask the next question.
"Is it me?" He asks her with hope in his eyes. She looked down at her feet and slowly whispered, "Yes".
The two oblivious teenagers suddenly realize they both share the same feelings. Finally admitting to one another. In Y/n's imagination, she thought that he would choose someone stronger than she was as for Draco, he thought that she would choose someone who was kinder and gentler, not like him. But if they could just erase their negativity toward each other, things would be easier for them to relish the feeling of being loved. He broke the distance between them and kissed her with passion and longing as she gave him the same pace. He places his hands on either the side of her nape or her waist pulling her closer. Y/n puts her arms around his neck to deepen their kiss. They can feel their heartbeats from one another. They huff and pant during their intimate session, their worlds revolving around them. The kiss breaks apart for a second, a smile stretching and both of them kiss back again, his fingers gently sliding up to hold your face.
After a few moments, they stopped both of them were out of breath foreheads touching. They opened their eyes, feeling giddy.
Seeing as how she can't hide her cheeks turning red. But she also wanted to tell him what she was feeling and what she was scared of. She looked at him with a determined expression.
"You need to know that I've grown to care for you deeply. Words can't express how much I loved you, I was afraid that you'd find someone more of your type and that I always thought I was out of your league. Being a Gryffindor while you are a Slytherin is not gonna allow us to be together." She confessed while gripping his robe as she waited for his words. Draco chuckled a bit before kissing her forehead.
"I've been in love with you since the day I first saw you, for years I have yearned for you, in secrecy and silence. Forgive me if I was mean to you. I admit that I was jealous of Potter for being the first to approach you, it was very immature of me." He said softly, he took one of her hands and intertwined them with his. Her eyes were shining as he confessed his love for her. She can't help but turn away from him.
"Please, don't turn away from me." Her heart aches as he whispers them. She slowly looked back."After all this time? And here I thought you hated me since then." She admits while also shaking her head at how stupid she was.
Draco swayed both of them against the moonlight. A smile was still displayed. He remembers what Professor Snape had told him.

"You didn't have to humiliate her in front of all the people. She didn't do anything." I sneered at my Professor as I approached his desk.
"Being an honest person as I am now, Mr.Malfoy, I suggest that you too should stay away from her." He stated blankly while he checked some parchments. I slammed my hands on his table not caring if he was going to give me a long time detention.
"And why would I do that? This is my business you're interfering, you don't get to tell me who should I stay away from." I gritted my teeth. "I want to know why you hated her so much?" I asked him as he stopped what he was doing and stared at me.
"Hate is such a strong word to use, and no I don't hate her. She reminded me of someone I cared about and loved." He said standing from his seat and going to the window sill to look outside and in deep thought.
I softened my demeanor as I watched a drop of tears on his cheeks, I didn't say anything.
"I know I had so many mistakes from my past that I can't undo." He looked at me as he continued, "I just don't want you to experience the same faith that I had before." He mumbled the last words. I frowned at what he said but quickly understood what he was implying.
"She's different to others. She's more than just a Gryffindor to me, more than just anything. She may be in love with someone. But I'm willing to wait until she sees me, even if it hurts me to watch her being with someone, as long as I can see her smile and happiness" I told him having difficulty to straighten my voice.
Y/N Y/L/N, how should I start with her? Ah yes, it was our 1st year at Hogwarts, that's where I also first met her. Her long curly ash brown hair swayed from her back, her hazel doe-eyes glimmer, her smooth pale skin and rosy cheeks, even if I hadn't touched it yet illuminating in the light.
All of her aspects were just so divine. I mean how can a living person not see her flaws, her kindness towards others, her gentleness towards the animals that surround her, and her smile when she makes others brighten their day? The way she smiles is so beautiful, hell I can't even express what I feel about her.
Snape gazed at his student trying to wipe his tears."Love is a powerful entity, Mr.Malfoy. I much prefer to do it early before it's too late. I assume you know what I'm saying, no?" Is he giving me some advice?
I nodded my head and thanked my Professor before I went out of his room, unaware that he was smiling before looking back outside.

"I have loved you since." He murmured to her ears as they basked themselves under the midnight moon.
"Always."
