Chapter 3

"Harry!"

"Wake up, Harry~"

I shifted in my bed, groaning as the voice continued shouting in my ear. Shaking me now.

"Let me sleep." I moaned, grunting as the shaking grew more feral. "Okay I'm up!" I bolted upright, glaring at the person who woke me. Luna. She put her arms up in surrender. I scoffed, getting up. "Why'd you wake me?" I asked, looking through my wardrobe. The only clothes in there were white shirts and white pants, like what I'm wearing now. But I noticed there was another pair, different from the rest. I shrugged it off.

"Because we have to arrive early for breakfast!" She replied. Breakfast? Damn okay. I nodded at her. "Now?"

"Yes, Silly!" She grabbed my hand after I had finished changing my clothes and dragged me out of the room. I gaped at the halls, they were mostly in white with some exceptions of greys.

No taste in colours, I thought sadly. I stumbled a little as Luna was nearly running. "Slow down, Luna!" I yelped as I actually fell this time. She offered me her hand and gave me a sheepish smile. I rolled my eyes fondly. We walked the rest of the way, making small talk here and there.

We eventually reached the breakfast hall as I recalled Luna telling me in one of our short conversations. She turned to me with slight fear in her eyes. "Don't make a fight. Stay quiet unless spoken to. And don't come out as aggressive." She instructed firmly. I was confused because these instructions seem quite suspicious but I didn't speak my opinion aloud.

I nodded in understanding and followed her inside. My eyes widened as I took in the sight before me. There were no windows, it seems the builder who made this forgot windows, and there were long white tables laid in lines across the wide room. The room was mostly white but the people in it had many unusual appearances where if you were to enter the room your gaze would immediately land on them.

My blonde friend dragged me towards a silver stand where an old grey haired lady stood, scowling at anyone who even glanced at her. My nerves increased the closer we walked towards the old lady.

"Grab a plate." Luna told me quietly. "And bow your head." she added. I did as told and followed her.

"Hello," My friend started. The old lady grunted. "May we have some breakfast, Miss Alison?" Luna continued. Miss Alison grunted once more before grabbing a large spoon and scooping what looked like oatmeal and dropped it in Luna's plate. She did the same for me but eyed me with an emotion I didn't recognise.

"You, boy, wait. What's your name?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. I almost replied with 'Harry' but stopped myself before I could.

"007, Miss Alison."

She smirked. "Good," she mumbled. She seems sort of nice, the first person to not grip me harshly.

I gazed back at her and she gave me a tentative look before hesitantly patting my head. I was shocked for a moment before I smiled brightly at her. It was, after all, my first head pat. She smiled back, I thought I saw her eyes glisten. "Go on, 007, enjoy your meal." I nodded and waved at her. She waved back, quickly wiping her eyes and placing a scowl on her face. She looked more pretty with a smile rather than a scowl in my opinion.

I snapped out of my trance when Luna gently nudged my arm. I smiled at her and we took a seat on a table. We sat in front of a tall boy, who looked to be about 7. He had dark orange hair and bright brown eyes. He gave me and Luna a small smile and reached his arm out towards us.

"Hi, I'm 203, or Ace, it's nice to meet you two! What are your names? Can we be friends?" Ace shot question after question at us before he realized this and shut up.

I smiled, seeing Luna doing the same. "I'm 006! Or Luna! My friend here is 007, or Harry." Luna introduced me too as I had a spoonful of oatmeal in my mouth. After I had chewed what was in my mouth I finally spoke to him. "Of course we can be friends, Ace!" He beamed at me.

Suddenly a tinkling sound was heard around the room and the people quieted down.

"Attention, Attention! May I please have your attention dammit!" someone shouted. You could hear a pin drop in the room. "Finally! I have some news to give to you all." the voice said again. "For those who don't know me, I'm Mr Daneese! I hope you feel welcome, anyway back to the announcement." Mr Daneeses' smile felt fake, or overly cheerful. I immediately didn't like him.

The hall broke out in murmurs, it seemed Mr Daneese allowed it this time before telling us to shush. "Now, I'd like to introduce our new experiment! Experiment 007 please raise your hand and introduce yourself." He smirked.

I raised my hand anxiously and found everyone's eyes on me. "U-um, I'm Ha- 007 and I, uh, like the colour blue." I never did something like introducing myself before, the Dursley's found it fit not to allow me education and school.

Most looked intrigued and others nonchalant. Ace seemed to be hopping in his seat. I chuckled, "What're you so excited for?"

"Having someone new! How old are you guys by the way? I'm 7." He asked, curious. "5" Luna and I reply simultaneously.

"Oh okay!" He responded.

I had finished my oatmeal so I turned to the person next to me and tried to spark conversation.

"Hello!" I greeted a dark haired boy next to me. He grunted. "I'm 007, or Harry, nice to meet you!" He mumbled a small 'Hi' before continuing to eat his oatmeal. I smiled, I really didn't want to make any enemies here.

I saw Luna had finished and nudged her to get her attention. She turned to me. "Yeah?" I looked at Ace to see he was still eating and talking to a girl with blue hair. "Can we go? I'm bored." I asked, beaming when she nodded. We quickly said goodbye to Ace and went to our room.

"What do you want to do?" Luna queried, sitting down in a criss-cross position. Just as I was about to respond a knock sounded on our door. Luna yelled a 'Come in!'.

Miss Everly entered and requested that I follow her. I looked worriedly at Luna but she only had her head down in shame. Why would she be ashamed?

I walked behind Miss Everly, nervous about what she had in store for me.

"Get in." She stated gruffly, shoving me inside a room where a white chair was laden on the grey floor. It looked like the type of chair you'd find in a dentist's room.

Miss Everly entered after me and told me to get on the chair. I glanced around the room and saw Doctor Williams standing with what looked like a clipboard in his hands. He smiled at me. I sat down on the comfortable white chair. I startled when I felt something slide over my arm. I looked at what it was and was greeted by the sight of Miss Everly tying me with black rope. She hooked the rope around my ankles, my arms, my wrists and finally my torso.

"M-miss, what are y-" I was cut off as she gagged my mouth with leather. Doctor Williams came over to me with an injection and many different tools. I was frightened, why would he need those things?.

"You know, the first time I saw you I thought what pretty eyes you had. I wanted to take them out and study them, they are abnormally bright!" He said ecstatically. I tried screaming for help but my mouth was obviously muffled. "This'll only hurt a little." He turned to Miss Everly. "Hold him in place, make sure he doesn't move." He instructed.

Williams grabbed a spoon looking thing, and twirled it between his fingers. He smirked with a mad glint in his  eye and  brought the spoon thing close to my left eye. I shook my head vigorously, silently begging him to stop whatever he was going to do. Miss Everly placed her hands on the side of my face to hold me still.

He brought the spoon thing closer and closer until it touched my eye. I felt tears pouring from my right eye as he dug in more till my eyeball was in the spoon thing. Blood quickly rushed out of the exposed wound and I struggled to not thrash.

Doctor Williams brought my eye close and inspected it with a confused look. "Curious.." He muttered. I couldn't care less about what he was saying because, sue me, I was missing an eyeball!.

He turned to me with a grin. "Why, your eye is a dark forest green now rather than an emerald colour! I wonder if your eye is connected.." He mumbled off. Williams sighed and placed my eyeball back roughly, putting a bandage over it. I sobbed in relief, glad to have my eye back.

"Don't think it's over yet, I have many tools to use." He leered.

I choked back a sob.
