In Gryffindor common room, there was a massive party, it was the fourth match of the season. Unfortunately Gryffindor hadn’t won their match against Hufflepuff but they’d done a hell of a job trying, so James threw a party anyway. It was James’ first year as the quidditch captain, and they’d won every match so far, and he’d only thrown a party for their first win of the season. But he thought the team could use a morale boost. Especially after Marlene had nearly beaten up a Ravenclaw boy that tried to claim they’d lost because there was a girl on the team, who admittedly deserved it, but Marlene was one of his best players and her and Sirius were a power duo on the pitch, so he couldn’t have her banned.
The party was in full swing, and everyone was absolutely pissed, aside from Remus and Lily. Usually Lily and Remus would join in but Lily had been asked to help Slughorn with making potions for his Monday first year classes and Remus wasn’t feeling very well due to cramps.
“I think I’m going to head up to bed, Lily,” Remus winced, “Thanks for keeping me company.”
“No worries, Remus,” Lily smiled, squeezing his hand “I hope you feel better soon.”
Remus attempted a smile at Lily before turning around to head to his dorm.
Once Remus got up into his dorms, he got ready for bed and curled up under the covers. Unable to fall asleep, he just twisted and turned in bed. Until he heard a knock at the door.
“Who is it?” Remus yelled to the door,
“It’s me, Padfoot.” Sirius slurred,
“Are you alone?”
“Yes. I saw you go up the stairs, and I wanted to make sure you’re okay,” Sirius slipped through the edge of the door, “Is it okay if I turn the light on?”
“Yeah, sure,”
Remus heard Sirius trip before he managed to use his wand to turn the lights on. Suddenly light flooded the room, and Remus could see Sirius, rosy-cheeked and so so beautiful.
“Are you okay?” Sirius asked softly, slurring slightly on the r sound,
“I’m fine, I’ve just got bad cramps,” Remus replied,
“Ah shit. Wait, let me find a sobering potion.” Sirius started clumsily searching through his wardrobe,
“No no, Sirius please don’t feel like you need to stay for my sake,” Remus attempted to sit up slightly.
“Aha! Here it is.” Sirius got up triumphantly, “It’s fine, there’ll be plenty of parties in the future.”
Sirius took the potion and Remus felt a little guilty, but was distracted from his guilt when Sirius started to get into his pyjamas, revealing his toned torso. God, Remus would kill to just run his hands over Sirius’ body. Honestly, how Sirius’ position on the Quidditch team had affected his physique was unfair to Remus’ denial of his crush. Quickly, he looks away before Sirius can see him looking and blushing, wanting to save Sirius’ dignity and his own. After Sirius got changed, instead of just going over to Remus’ bed like Remus thought he would, he grabbed his wand out his discarded trousers’ pocket, then headed to his trunk. Remus looked curiously at Sirius, when Sirius pulled out an old scarf then cast a warming spell on it, then walked over.
“Wrap it around your torso, it should help with stomach and back pains,” Sirius handed the scarf to Remus,
“Thank you. I can’t believe I never thought of this before.” Remus said in awe,
“Have you remembered to take off your binder? Because you’re not supposed to wear it in bed, right?” Sirius checks,
“Yep, thank you for making sure,” Remus mutters, he couldn’t even comprehend this side of Sirius right now.
“What would you like me to do?” Sirius asked,
“Umm… Just talk to me.” Remus whispered.
And so that was what Sirius did, he spoke to Remus until he fell asleep.
