Pandora gasped. "Oh my god," They said.
Evan looked over from his conversation with James. "What's up Dora?"
Pandora gestured to Sirius, who was looking quite confused.
Evan's eye brows furrowed for a minute as he stared at Sirius.
Sirius, the poor thing, tried to look over at Remus for help but the boy was already trying to not laugh.
Suddenly Evan's eyes went wide. "Oh!"
Pandora nodded. "I told you!!!" Her face split into a grin. He spun around in their chair to face barty who had already began looking through their bag.
"Barty~" Pandora said sing song like.
"Yeah, yeah, I know." They grumbled.
Sirius looked so confused. "Can someone please explain what's going on?"
Regulus rubbed his temples. "Bets. Barty and Pandora make bets about everything and Barty never wins."
"But what do I have to do with this?!" Sirius exclaimed.
Barty dumped a stack of dollar bills in Pandora's hand.
Marlene giggled. "They made a bet about you. I was there when Pandora made it. Don't feel bad, me and Dorcas had a bet made about us too."
Sirius looked concerned. "What was the bet about me?"
Evan grinned. "Don't worry about it. Lily knows though."
Lily raised an eyebrow. "I do?"
"Cardigan," Dorcas said plainly.
Lily's eyes lit up. "Oh!! I do know!"
Peter hummed. "Cardigan. Never thought of that."
Sirius groaned. "You know too Peter?!"
Peter grinned. "I know everything."
Evan sighed. "Pete could most likely black mail every one of us right know."
"You're right." Peter replied.
Pandora counted the money Barty had just given them. "Splendid. Nice doing business with you Crouch."
Barty rolled their eyes but he was grinning.
A ding went off and Evan looked at his phone before groaning.
"What's wrong Rosie?" Barty asked.
"Fucking Kaden keeps asking to hang out," Evan complained.
Barty frowned and was about to say something when Lily interrupted.
"I thought that we discussed that he is toxic and bad for your mental health Evan," Lily reprimanded.
"And I told you to block him!" Remus added.
Evan's head dropped into his hands. "I know but I can't just block him! That's so rude!"
"It's not even half as rude as some of the things he's done," Dorcas reminded him.
"Fucking hell, " Evan muttered.
"Give me the phone," Lily demanded.
Evan grumbled but handed the phone over. Barty hugged Evan from the side.
"I hate that guy," Barty said.
Mary frowned. "Okay, someone need to explain." She looked over at her girlfriend. "Lils?"
"Hold on love, I just need to finish typing this, " Lily replied. "Remus you tell them."
"In short Evan had some really toxic friends and one of them won't leave him alone," Remus said.
"In a longer reason of why everyone who knows about him hates him is because he's hella queerphobic and transphobic, " Evan added.
Mary nodded. "Got it."
"Oh toxic friends suck.," James' commented off handedly.
Evan laughed. "Yep. Especially if you're a people pleaser like me."
"That's actually so real," James' replied.
Lily looked up from the phone that she had been furiously typing on. "You guys are like the same person in different fonts, it's actually scary."
Evan and James' both laughed.
Barty was starting at both of them. Gods he was fucked.
