Chapter 50: New circus member

Harry woke to a soft glow filtering through the curtains. He stretched, feeling the pleasant ache of muscles that had spent the night in deep meditation. For the first time in months, his mind was clear. No more looming visions of a chaotic future, no more questions about the Seer potion. He had finally digested it completely, and the feeling was euphoric.

Sitting up, Harry stared at his hands. They felt the same, but the connection between his body and mind was sharper. Every thought, every action was now in sync, like a well-oiled machine. The clarity was overwhelming, yet exhilarating.

"So, this is what it feels like to digest a potion," Harry murmured. "To finally have control."

He stood and walked to the window, pulling the curtains aside. Hogwarts grounds were blanketed in light frost, winter creeping closer. The break was only a week away, with everyone going home next Sunday. Seven days to set everything in motion—one week to prepare for the next step: becoming a Clown.

Harry chuckled softly. A Seer, then a Clown. What a ridiculous path. But necessary.

His thoughts drifted to the potion. It wasn't just about taking the next step; he had to ensure all the ingredients were translated properly into this world's equivalents. The Clown Sequence would be even more complex than the Seer potion. The names from the Lord of Mysteries world didn't match the magical materials found here, and Harry couldn't afford mistakes.

And then there was the matter of secrecy. By now, he was certain someone might be aware of his involvement in the potion pathways. He had to be careful, precise—this wasn't just about crafting a potion; it was about survival.

"First things first," Harry muttered. "I need to translate the ingredients."

He walked to his desk and pulled out a worn piece of parchment, along with the Blasphemy Card of the Fool. Holding it, Harry felt the weight of its significance—a link between two worlds, a bridge between his past life as Dipak and his current reality as Harry Potter.

Harry muttered the incantation, and the Fool card shimmered. He flipped it over, revealing the recipe for the Clown potion in archaic symbols. Frowning, he deciphered the words, mentally cross-referencing each ingredient with materials available in the Hogwarts potions supply.

"Half of these don't exist here," he realized. "I'll need Dobby's help again... maybe even a trip to the Room of Requirement."

He scribbled a rough translation of the first few ingredients, noting potential sources. His mind raced through possibilities—Diagon Alley's darker markets, hidden potions rooms at Hogwarts, maybe even the black market networks Dobby could access.

Setting the card down, Harry leaned back, feeling a rush of excitement. He was on the verge of unlocking something new, something powerful. But before he could take the potion, he had another, more pressing issue: Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew.

Harry paced his room, recalling the past few weeks. Sirius Black was still at large, and Harry couldn't shake the feeling that the situation was far more complicated than anyone realised. He knew, from both his Seer powers and logical deduction and movie knowledge, that the truth about Peter Pettigrew—Ron's rat, Scabbers—was tied to the entire mess. And he thought it's about time to solve the case.

"I need a way to detect him," Harry muttered. "To prove that Scabbers is an Animagus for everyone to believe in me without the map.”

His Seer abilities gave him the clarity to focus. He remembered glimpses of future outcomes, but he needed a method—a spell, perhaps, that could reveal an Animagus in their animal form. That would be key to exposing Pettigrew and clearing Sirius Black's name.

As Harry considered his options, a memory from his Seer visions surfaced. He saw Ministry officials in Hogsmeade, questioning villagers about a recent attack. The scene shifted to Hogwarts, where the same officials moved through corridors, interviewing students and teachers.

Harry's eyes widened. "The investigation," he realized. "That's when I can reveal the truth."

The Ministry would send investigators not just to the village, but to Hogwarts as well. They would interview students, gather information about the attack, and even promise bravery awards to those who had defended their peers. It was an annual process, one that Dumbledore and his Order always watched closely.

This, Harry realized, was the perfect opportunity. With Ministry officials present, he could reveal Scabbers for what he truly was. The timing would be crucial—he needed to find that Animagus detection spell before the investigators arrived.

Glancing at his calendar, Harry counted the days. If his vision was correct, the Ministry team would arrive at Hogwarts in five days. That didn't leave much time.

"Five days," Harry whispered, excitement and anxiety mingling. "Five days to learn the spell, five days to prepare. And then... then we'll see who's really been hiding all this time."

He knew he'd have to be careful. The reveal had to be public enough to matter, but not so public that Pettigrew could escape in the chaos. He'd need to involve Ron and Hermione, but how much should he tell them? And what about the professors?

This wasn't just about clearing Sirius's name anymore. It was about setting a trap, using the Ministry's own investigation to bring a long-hidden truth to light.

With renewed determination, Harry turned back to his notes. He had a plan now, a target. Five days to prepare for a moment that could change everything.

As he stood before the mirror, Harry pulled out the Fool card once more. He stared at it, contemplating the powers he had yet to gain. Becoming a Clown would give him the ability to manipulate and deceive, to dance around danger with wit and cunning. It was a far cry from the Seer's straightforward visions and clarity.

Deception,Trickery, Chaos, balance .The Clown Sequence was as dangerous as it was powerful. But it was a necessary step if he wanted to continue down this path, to blend his knowledge of both worlds and become something greater.

The ingredients for the Clown potion glowed faintly on the card. Harry knew that once he brewed it, everything would change again. The Clown's powers were about adaptation, survival, and mastery over illusion. He'd need those skills soon, especially if his visions about the dangers looming over Hogwarts were right.

But that was for winter break. For now, he needed to focus on the week ahead.

Feeling resolved, Harry gathered his books for the day. The clarity from the Seer potion still lingered, but it was now accompanied by a sense of urgency. There was no time to waste.

As he finished getting ready, Harry heard familiar voices approaching. A knock at his door, followed by Ron's voice.

"Oi, Harry! You coming down for breakfast?"

Harry smiled, feeling a sense of calm wash over him. Whatever lay ahead, he wasn't alone. He'd face the challenges with his friends at his side.

"Yeah, I'm coming," Harry called back.

He grabbed his bag, stuffed his notes inside, and headed out to join Ron and Hermione. Together, they made their way to the Great Hall, blending into the flow of students as they prepared for another day at Hogwarts.

But as Harry stepped through the doors, a familiar prickle ran down his spine—a subtle reminder from his Seer powers. Something was coming, something big. And he would be ready.
