Your love keeps me warm even in cold snow
My first year at hogwarts had ended very well, passing all of my classes with good marks made me and my parents very proud. Though I felt sad having to leave my friends but it would be nice to go to my hometown for the summer.
I had a pretty much lazy summer just sitting around,sleeping, going out with friends and stuff. I had completely forgotten about Draco existing.
Long at last summer had ended and I was very excited to go back to Hogwarts. We met up at the station and I saw the back of a blond head but quickly boarded the train after. The first term went by quickly and it was boring. I thought I’d spend out one week break at school cause my hometown was far and I wanted to keep Harry and the others company.
It was winter. Harry, Ron, Hermione and I decided to go into town to drink some butter bear. We entered Homeydukes and got some candy. I told them I’d go first and grab us a table at a the bar. And I left and started walking down. I saw an alley that’s a shortcut so I entered.
‘Nice legs sweetheart~ wanna show me more~~’
I quickly turned around to see a shady man standing behind me so I ignored him and started walking faster, the man ran after me and grabbed my arm.
‘Hey I’m talking to you lady! It’s impolite to not answer someone when they’re speaking to you!’ He had this smug Pervy look on his face.
His grip was too strong so I couldn’t get out. I wanted to scream but I was so shaken up but I tried my best and yelled
‘HELP SOMEONE HELP ME’
He put his hands over my mouth to shut me up. Just as I thought it was over for me, the man goes flying in the air and fell down pretty bad his head was bleeding.
I turned my head over to see who saved me and I was shocked when I saw it was… DRACO MALFOY?!
He runs up to me and puts his arms around me guarding me from the guy.
‘Don’t you dare put your filthy hands on her ever again!’ He scowls, he then spits on the man’s face and says
‘Fuck you bastard’ with a glare that could kill anyone just by staring at him.
I didn’t realize but I was shaking uncontrollably, Draco then takes my hands and starts running. We ran over to the rumored haunted house. I was so out of breath and started shaking even more, then I felt my legs give out and I fell to the ground. Draco then picks me up bridal style and puts me on a rock and sits next to me still not letting go of me his arms still around me.
He sees me shivering and gives me his coat. He then holds my hand starts rubbing them to keep them warm. He holds my hands tighter and says
‘Don’t you worry, I’ll find that man, and I swear I’ll make him pay.’
He snarls with rage in his gray eyes.
I felt tears streaming down my face. He puts his hand on my cheek it feels warm against my cold skin. I feel out faces getting closer, I could see my reflection in his glittering eyes, his nose was a little red from the cold. Our noses touched, just as we were about to…
‘LAYLA!!!’
We immediately pulled away, and I quickly turn my head around to see Harry and the others. Hermione and Ron turned away from embarrassment, but Harry ran up to us. He grabs Draco by the collar and yelled
‘WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER YOU SCUM!’
‘I was the one who saved her you bastard!’ Draco says annoyed
Draco then shoved Harry and stormed away. Harry then grabs me by the shoulders and says
‘The hell is he talking about? He’s spouting nonsense-‘
I cut him off
‘Harry it’s true’ I say quietly with my head down
‘What?! What happened!?’ He says concerned
‘Let’s talk later okay?’ I say with tear drops forming around my eyes.
