The girls are sweet-talking and petting the kind looking dog that hasn't stopped waving its tail ever since I came around the corner. The stunned look on my face hasn't gone anywhere. I can't believe my eyes..! Sirius..- What the hell is he doing in here?! Better yet - how did he get in here?! He's just sitting there in his dog form in middle of the castle's hallway like there is no care in the world. Then, for everyone's surprise, the dog got up on its all four paws and starts walking towards me. The girls keeps gasping and admiring the cute dog in union. Without taking his eyes off of me, Sirius comes stand beside me and I have no choice, but place a hand on top of his head. Damn it... "Is that your dog, Professor?" one of the students asks. Slight panic hits:"Uh..-", "What's its name?" another one ask. Merlin! What I'm going to say so these students won't gossip about this to the rest of the school?! Surely, Severus would get furious if he'd found out Sirius has found his way to Hogwarts. Think, (Y/N)! THINK!

There are now sweat of pears streaming down my temple:"I-it's a uh..-", but before I could think or say anything else, the dog jumps on its two feet which makes me boggle and automatically turn my head to look at him. Huh? It all happens so fast; As soon as I turn my head to take a look at the dog to see what's he doing, he places the front paws against side of my arm and gives a quick - yet long lick... Right against my lips! All of the girls starts giggling and letting out the 'aaaww' when this happened. My eyes are wide and half murderous as I'm staring down at the man in his dog form. You..!! But Sirius is just waving his tail and looking back up at me like a normal dog would do after licking a person they like. This darn..- THING! With that, I grab him by the black fur behind the neck, turn us around and start walking along the hallway. "P-professor..?!" the girls gets stunned, little bit scared what I'm going to do to it. Then again, they know I'm not like the Carrows or Snape, so neither of them runs after to try stop me.

Soon, we're in the Room of Hidden Things. After coming close to the Vanishing Cabinet, I noticed a pile of Sirius's clothes near the hanger Remus and I leave our coats. He must've left them there after walking thru the cabinet. "What the hell were you thinking?!?!" I hiss arms crossed over the chest while having back facing him as he's dressing back up behind all the junk around us. "I couldn't find you or Remus anywhere in Diagon Alley, so I decided to come look for you two from here. Thought disguising myself in a dog form wouldn't raise as much suspicions as a man, wandering around the castle..." Sirius sounds amused while buttoning up his shirt. I keep muttering under my breath how dumb he can be, which only amuses him more. "What if you would have run into one of the Carrows? Or better yet, into Snape?!" I keep hissing. "But I didn't." he smirks. "Good thing I happened run into you, (Y/N). Out of all people in Hogwarts." he continues while tugging the shirt inside the pants. "Bet you would have licked Remus's face too." I scoff, still pouting the fact he managed to do such a thing. I can still feel the disgusting saliva on me.

Sirius lets out a chuckle as he comes behind the pile of furnitures he put the clothes on:"I was aiming for your cheek, but... Guess I got lucky.". He whispered that last part right in my ear before walking past me. The disapproving look on my face won't change:"Only luck you had was that there were students around. Otherwise, you wouldn't be talking with those teeth in your mouth right now.". And that he was in the dog form. Have no heart to kick a dog... Then, I shook my head to refocus what's going on. "What are you doing in here anyway?" I ask. Sirius doesn't know where to begin. It's like that carefree behavior was now gone. "It's about Harry." he finally reveals. Both of my eyebrows raise and ears perks up:"What about him?". "He hasn't answered to my calls." he reply. Light frown visits on my face out of confusion:"Your... Calls?". "Yes, you see... I gave Harry one of the pairs of the Two-way mirrors - which belonged to his father, back at the Burrow on Christmas Eve as a present." he tells. "Two-way mirror?" I wonder out loud. Can't remember hearing such a thing before.

Sirius then began to tell me how it's one in a pair of mirrors that were magically connected. This allows people to communicate with each other whilst in different locations. "Oh, like a telephone!" my eyes lights up when I came up with the idea. "A tele..- What?" he ask confused. "Telephone. It's one of the Muggles inventions. I used to date this Muggle, and one way to connect with him was thru..-" my thoughts began to trail off. Then, I shook my head quickly:"You know what, doesn't matter.". He then told me all about how he's been trying to connect with Harry thru the mirror whole this time he and his friends ran away to hunt down the Horcruxes. There are only a few times Sirius has managed to get a hold of him, but they were always very brief and short moments. "If Harry would have ever told me where they are, I wouldn't have waste any time and rushed to help them. But he always seems to be very secretive of sharing his real location..." he sounds so upset about this.

There is compassion all over my face while listening him. Bet Harry thinks he's only protecting his only family member like this. To be honest, if it was about Severus... I'd do the same. "...and now, last time I got the hold of him, I couldn't hear him clearly. It was all shaky. Like he was running or something. All I know, is that they are heading to the Gringotts Bank." he tells. "Gringotts? ...Why?" I ask. Surely they are not stupid enough to go there and ask for more money for their hunt, would they? "That is why I came here to find you or Remus. We need to go and help them." Sirius frowns, looking so determined. "Of co..-" I stop myself from approaching the cabinet Sirius had already put his foot in. I promised Severus not to involve myself in any danger. If Severus finds out I left the castle... He'd be furious and I'd betray his trust. I don't want that. Sirius sees the hesitation in me:"What is it?". Panic hits:"S-shouldn't we get Remus instead? I'll go get hi..-", "There is no time to go look for him, (Y/N)!" he snap. Don't know what to do here:"But..-", "We have already spend enough time in here, even we should be already heading to the Bank." he growls annoyed. Don't know was it the way Sirius hissed at me or what, but almost as an instinct, I gathered part of my hem and step into the cabinet with him:"Right..!". And with that, he closes the door, soon followed by the soft whooshing sound. I'm sorry, Severus.

Won't take long before Sirius and I are walking on the streets side by side, heading towards the Gringotts Bank with fast steps. Both of us are looking each direction time to time in case we happen to see Harry or any of his friends somewhere. Or any enemies that might be waiting for their arrival... My heart keeps beating fast in my chest. Almost as in heavy, sharp pain. Don't know if it's because I'm being nervous about what's about to happen, or the fact I just defying Severus's will. Oh, dear Merlin, what have I done? But I try to convince myself that there is no other way. We haveto help them! "So, what's the plan? Don't think we can just walk in there and wait for them?" I ask with voice that's almost like a whisper. No answer. Sirius keeps on walking next to me while keeping his gaze ahead. "You don't know either, do you?" I lift my eyes on him, looking disappointed. "Just..-! Let me think for a moment." he hisses and gets quiet again. Hmph, Severus would had a plan already planned out...

We stop when we see the imposing snow-white multistoried marble building bank thirty meters away from us. "Woah..." I do a small gulp while staring at it. For some reason, I've always felt little bit nervous when it comes to Gringotts. Must be because of the unfriendly goblins that runs the place. No matter what how kindly you smile or speak in honorable manner, they always seem... So angry. Reminds me of certain someone, actually. The thought of Severus brings up this gentle smile on my lips. He could be remotely related to goblins according to his everyday sour behavior. "Got it!" Sirius all of sudden grabs me by the shoulder and yanks me to the alleyway closest to us - out of other people's sight.

At first, Sirius looks over his shoulder to make sure no one's around, then turns to me. Those grey eyes looks intensively into my (e/c) eyes as he keeps both of his hands around the sides of my arms:"I'm going to get in there from the back. Alone. You'll wait here.". "What?! No way! Sirius..- You can't be serious. You did not just drag me all the way here just to wait while you..-", "Please..- (Y/N)." he tries to control his temper. I can feel how his nails are digging into my flesh almost thru the fabric. He then tries to relax his shoulders, offering kinder eyes:"Just trust me. Alright? Wait here. And if anything happens..- If you see any of the followers of the You-Know-Who, you'll know what to do.". Eyes flickering between his, trying to sound calm, but it feels like I'm swallowing the words:"Okay.". "Good." he raises this apologizing smile on his face and shoves something into my hands. Hm? "Try to get in touch with him - and tell him, I'm on my way." he whispers before leaving by my side. "Wh..-" my head follows when Sirius rushed behind the corner. Then, I look down to see what he just gave me. It's the mirror. Quickly, I peek out the brick wall, hoping to see him one last time. But he wasn't there anymore. Be careful.

Next thirty minutes, I tried to get in touch with Harry while standing in the alleyway I was left to keep on watch. "Harry. Can you please just pick up and let me know if you guys are alright?" the tone of my voice has gone more bored and desperate while talking to the mirror. It's no use. No one has talked to me thru the mirror this whole time. "Urgh..!" I sigh frustrated and look up in the grey sky as I'm leaning against the wall. It's almost past the dinner time. Muffin must be peeing all over the chamber soon if I won't be back in next hour or so... Then, I hear something coming near the bank. Huh? Quickly, I peek behind the corner again. There's a goblin, dressed up all nice, who's standing near the entrance of the bank. He's speaking with a wizard that seems to be an officer. For a moment I intensively stare at them from 'my hide'. Wonder if they have already seen Har..- "Look what we have here." awfully familiar calm voice slithers in my ears. Heart escaping up to the throat, my whole body quickly turns around to see the person behind me. Lucius?!
