I love this actually guys🙌🙌🙌

Regulus Black sat on a windowsill in the early evening. The air around him had a slight chill as the flowers were still blossoming this early spring. The sky was a plethora of pinks and oranges and yellows, beautifully casting light onto the Amsterdam street below.

As Regulus looked around at the beautiful city streets below where people lingered, he thought he could live like this forever. Observing the world and its beauty.

But for Regulus, it wasn't the people or the sky that was the most beautiful to him, it was James.

James climbed out the window of Regulus's hotel room to sit with him. "So we did it." James smiled, referring to the heist they had just finished pulling. James, Regulus, Remus, Sirius, and the others would be absolutely filthy rich from now on. "Yeah," Regulus muttered, looking over to James.

It was bittersweet, the end of this era. In many ways, he was thankful it was done—no more worrying or working into the early hours of the day. But he knew James would leave now, there was no reason for him to stay.

James furrowed his brow. "Aren't you excited?" he asked. "You can do anything now, Reggie."

Regulus blushed and looked away, 'Reggie,' a name he would only ever let James call him. "I will miss it, I guess," he murmured. Regulus did not mean to say this, he meant to say 'You,' and James knew this. James's expression softened. "I know, so will I, but I'm sure we will still have fun after," James reassured Regulus as he gently placed his hand on top of Reg's.

James turned and looked into Regulus's beautiful brown eyes. He was so perfect, so beautiful and kind and smart—truly the best human Reg had ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Regulus knew he could not let this magical boy leave him, not now, not ever. "James," Regulus said tentatively. "Yeah?" James asked.

"You're my best friend," Reg confessed as his face reddened. The breeze around them swirled and twirled, messing with Reg's hair. James smiled. "Reg, I don't think I can be your friend," he said softly.

Reg felt his heart break, and he let out a small gasp. "Why not? What did I ever do?" he asked, feeling quite hurt.

James looked out into the city and softly smiled. "Because... I love you too much to be your friend," he confessed in a soft, affectionate tone. Regulus again gasped; he felt as if he was going to faint. "Jamie, I—" he whispered, unsure what to say.

James turned back to look at the beautiful black-haired boy across from him. Regulus gazed into James's eyes. James gently raised Regulus’s hands, still holding onto them. Regulus moved closer to James. “Reggie,” James whispered, “I love you.” Regulus confessed as he leaned closer to James.

Regulus moved closer to press his lips onto James’s. “I love you so much,” he quietly confessed.

They felt as if it was a movie, the sky around them twirling with a mirage of colors, the wind swirling around them leading small leaves and flowers to dance around them.

When their lips broke apart, their hands stayed together. “Jamie, I don't want this to end. I want you to stay with me. I will give you whatever you want, whatever you need, as long as you stay with me,” Regulus pleaded hopefully.

James ran his hand through Reg's hair. “I wouldn’t have it any other way, love,” he agreed, and they kissed once more lingering in this wonderful moment.
