How many days have it been since well.. The ‘ ichor ‘ had corrupted all toons, except for one.
Shelly had been wandering around within the floors, completing these sudden new ‘ machines ‘ with the same gooey, black substances exiting from the machine after a rough while of extracting. Each floor showing what remnants were there of her fri..toons she once knew.

Wandering around this current floor, bandages covered the ammonite fossil, more especially her arm. How many floors has she gone through, was this an everlasting loop of hell, had she done something during her life that brought suffering to herself and everyone else. had it been her fault.

The floor she was currently finding herself in, wasn't quiet, the sudden loud piercing noise crushing through the fossil's head. faint growls and scoffs were heard from the powerful, clearly audible footsteps. Shelly had anxiously looked around, fear cowering all over. The faint Dark gray caught her eye, a small, wavered gasp filled with pure awe and surprise.

` ARF ARF! `
The small, excited rock dog hopped around, barking all over. His small tail wagging along, Shelly following along, letting out small giggles, had pulled out a tennis ball, before chucking it across the room, the dog followed moments after the ball exited out of her grasp.
The dog ran at the speed of light, returning with the green ball, dropping it below in between the fossil's legs, looking up at her waiting for her to throw it once again.

‘ Shelly! ‘ The fossil recognized the sweet, robotic voice from anywhere, Vee. The same smirk showing confidence.

How could she ever forget that wonderful face, it'd forever haunt her in a pleasant way.

‘ BARK. BARK. ‘

Shelly snapped out of it, hearing the loud, harsh barks of what was left of the familiar dog, pebble. Fear surged through her body, already being filled with adrenaline. She immediately sprinted off, taking the wrapper off a speed candy and quickly shoving into her mouth.

Looking back, he was rapidly catching up, the low growls and baring teeth scaring her to near death, the loud blaring footsteps bringing migraines towards her head. She needed to hide, soon. Or loop around something at least.

Her death is slowly growing near. She didn't want to give up though. She then quickly rushed behind a group of boxes. Whispering out pleas for pebble to lose sight of her.

The growls suddenly stopped as the footsteps thumped off elsewhere, Shelly's breath, who didn't know was holding her breath in for so long, let out a sigh of relief. Looking up. Just catching her breath, covering her face suddenly with her clawed-like paws, whimpers and soft sobs coming out in a raw way, tears gushing down. Guilt gripped onto her entirely, why hadn't she done anything to save anyone? Was her own greed of just wanting to be recognized be the very cause of everything?

If only she had done anything to save them, pebble.. even Vee.
..
Oh, Vee.
How she remembered looking at Vee with fear and the strong urges to save her. Being forced to witness the ichor take over everything that was dear, her treasure. Vee was very dear to Shelly.

And she was going to do anything to save everyone, even Vee from this nightmare. Shelly suddenly stood up, rubbing her eyes.
removing any excess tears, then wandered off while keeping watch of pebble to make sure he wasn't near to strike.

*Ding!*

Vee was all that mattered.

*Ding!*

Everyone and Vee is going to survive this.

*Ding!*

Shelly was going to make sure of it.

…*Ding.*

She will make sure this suffering will finish.

The elevator door raised open, a time starting. 25 seconds. Shelly spent no time leaving, rushing with what stamina she had left for this floor.

‘ BARK. BARK. ‘

She ignored the piercing bark that was familiar, rushing to the elevator.
She was going to save everyone, even herself. It didn't matter if they ignored or forgot about her. She was still going to save them.

The elevator was right there, approaching it quickly, turning back to see Pebble. What was once an innocent soul who loved playing, showing nothing but a feral side of itself. And it pained Shelly. She entered the elevator, solemnly looking at the dog still.

‘ For I apologize pebble, I promise I'll fix this, for less I won't, my demise will be the same. ‘ Shelly’s voice murmured out with the holding back of tears, her voice grew rasp from not speaking and only curling herself in crying.

*SLAM!*

Silence, eerie silence. The fossil's hands were clenched tightly, before they softened.

She just hoped something will show up eventually, to help everyone.. even if it meant her own death. She looked at the buttons that controlled the elevator. Then suddenly clicked one that would take her back up to what brought nothing but only pain of remembrance.
