“I’m right” teddy says firmly
“In what world are you living in” Isabella shoots back
“His own” Lydia whispers to her brother Harry who is sitting next to her. Harry just laughs in response
“I’m right and you know it you just don’t want to admit it” Isabella says her voice rising
“That is such a lie” teddy half shouts
“Is not”
“Is too”
“No”
“Yes”
Harry and Lydia gave up trying to get in between the siblings argument five minutes ago.now they just sit back and enjoy the show
Teddy and Isabella keep going until finally ”fine we’ll settle this.”Bella says with a mischievous glint in her eye and a smirk that she gets from their father Sirius.”DAAAAAAAAAD”
“Hey that’s not fair dad always takes your side” teddy says annoyed “right guys?”now turning to Harry and Lydia who just nod in response
“He takes my side because I’m right ninety percent of the time”
“Fine you want to play like that let’s play” Teddy says with that same glint in his eye and smirk that Isabella was wearing.”PAAAAPAAAA” he screams
It only took a moment before their parents came bursting into the room fallowed by Harry and Lydia’s parents James and regulus.
“What? What’s going on”Sirius says in a panic.all the adults eyes scanning the room for anything wrong.though they can’t find any thing
Then all of a sudden both Isabella and Teddy start talking all at once,about how they thought the other was wrong and they why were right. James and regulus looked at each other and with one look decided this was not their problem so,they just sit down on either side of their kids on the couch.
“Woah woah woah”Remus says and that put the two teenagers into silence “let’s just calm down and explain one at a time. Okay Bells let’s hear it”
“Okay so, we were playing monopoly like you said we should and Teddy was going broke and he was going to sell me one of his rail roads.But he was trying to sell it to me for double the price and that’s not what it’s supposed to be it supposed to be half the price you bought it for.”
“Okay,” Sirius says “ Teds“
“She’s wrong. I’m right” Teddy says simply
“So,what can we do to fix the problem” Remus says jumping into the families post argument procedure
They created these procedures when Isabella and Teddy got in a huge fight about Teddy going to Hogwarts and Isabella having to stay home. Bella was ten and Teddy was eleven. It was the worst the their parents had seen them fight they didn’t talk for days. So they created these three questions: what’s the problem? Who was involved? And how can we fix the problem?
“May I suggest reading the rules?” Regulus jumps in from his place on the couch next to Lydia.
“Can’t, Teddy got mad and set them on fire.” Lydia say nonchalantly.
“ he what!?” James finally says something
“ you know that would explain why it smelled like fire and Bella ran down stairs for water” Sirius says like it’s nothing.
“you smelled fire and didn’t tell me!?” Remus looks at his husband in shock and the other man just shrugs “ I’ll get to you later” Remus says turning back to Teddy “ please tell me you didn’t set fire to the rules on purpose”
“ I didn’t mean to” Teddy says desperately “it was you know accidental magic”
“Okay fine but it better not happen again”
“It won’t I promise”
“So why didn’t you look up the rules on your phones” James questions “ you know the things we so lovingly pay for”
“ uncle pads took them away. said we should have some ‘cousin bonding time’” Harry answers his dads question putting the last sentence in air quotes
“Sirius-“ regulus starts to argue but is cut of by Sirius himself
“No you should have seen them they were all sitting her on their phones. I mean Bella and Lydia were sitting right next to each other and still texting each other.” Sirius says firmly them grins that Sirius black grin “ so I took them an made them play my favorite game monopoly”
“ fair enough” regulus agrees
“ so I looked it up and Bella’s right it is half of what you paid for it” James says looking up from his phone
“ Ha” Isabella says getting in teddy’s face
“ fine you win” Teddy say begrudgingly and pushes Bella away from him
“ okay I thinks that’s enough games for one night.why don’t we go have dinner now” Remus says finally
They all agree and walk downstairs to eat together.
