“Hurry up, Sirius! We are going to be late!” Remus yells to his boyfriend.
“I am coming.” Sirius responds as he walks down the stairs pulling on his jacket. “I can’t believe we are joining Jamie for his first date. This is so exciting.”
Laughing Remus agrees. “After fighting for Lily to say yes for so long, I agree that us going on a double date with them for their first date is certainly interesting.”
“James never does things by half though.”
“That is true.”

A short while later, the duo walked into the restaurant. As the door opened, they went quiet. The place was a lot posher than they expected. The front doors had gold around the glass windows, there were real flowers hanging around the entrance, and a hostess was at the door to greet them.
Remus and Sirius looked at each other before gulping.
“I feel underdressed.” Remus whispered to his boyfriend.
“Dude. You are with a Black, you are never underdressed.”
Smiling, Remus shook his head. Of course his expensive boyfriend continues to surprise him. Taking a breath he walks up to the hostess.
“Good evening, how may I help you today?”
“Hi, we have a booking under Potter?”
“Of course, your companions are already here, if you would like to follow me?”
Taking the other males’ hand, the dup followed her to the table. Pulling out Sirius’ chair, after greeting the other two, Remus takes comfort in their usual act despite the posh place.
“I can’t believe you booked here James.” Remus hissed.
The besotted man looked at Lily and replied: “Only the best for my flower.”
Shaking his head, Remus whispered under his breath, “She is not your flower just yet James.”
“She will be,” he replied.
Luckily the meal went well and as they were leaving and walking to the cars, James smiled as Lily thanked him when they were saying goodbye. “There is no need to thank me Lily, you feel like home.”
“So do you.” She whispered back before placing a kiss on his cheek. “I will see you soon?”
“Obviously, I will send you an owl if that is okay.”
“Yes.” She replied excited, “Yes that is more than okay. Thank you again James, see you soon.” Lily said before getting into the taxi waiting for her. Waving, James steps over to his best mates.
“Thank you both for coming. I needed you both here more than I realised.”
“You are our brother James.” Sirius replied. “We will always be with you when you need. We love you.”
“How could we not? You grew on us like a vine.” Remus jokes.
Punching his shoulder, James laughed. “Okay. Bugger off now. You both need sleep before tomorrow.”
Smirking, Remus agreed before saying goodbye.

“So, where are we going?”
“I told you, it is a surprise holiday.”
“But I just want to hug you.”
“Oh come on siri, you are sitting beside me and I am trying to drive whilst holding your hand. I can’t do much else and you will love this. Please. I want to treat you. It may be a long drive but it will be worth it in the end.”
Sulking Sirius agreed. “Fine. Can we put our car tunes on?”
“Obviously.” Remus replied.

That evening, as they were still driving Sirius was moaning again.
“Remyyyy.”
“SIriiiii.” Remus replied.
“I am hungry.”
“If we pass a shop, I will stop. How is that?”
“Fineeee.” Sirius grouched. A few minutes later he was happy though as they passed a pizza shop. “YES! Pizza”
Remus smiled at his boyfriend's excitement as he pulled up to the shop’s car park.
Parking up, Sirius jumped out the car immediately before urging Remus to hurry up.
“Okay okay, I am coming.” Remus said as he got out the car himself.

After getting food, remus was confused.
“What are you doing?” He questioned as Sirius ordered another pizza to take away.
“Getting more good food for when I am next hungry.”
“Okayy, but we have no way to heat it up?”
“And?” Sirius questioned, finally looking at his confused partner.
“And? What do you mean and? It will be cold!”
“So? Remus, I like cold pizza.”
“You what!?” Remus freaked out. “How? WHAT? Since when? Ewwww.”
“Since always, it’s not that bad.”
“Yes it is!”
“Remus, I love you. How could I not love you? But are you really freaking out about me eating cold pizza right now?”
“It is COLD pizza!”
“Oh c’mon. It is not that bad.”
“Yes it is.” Remus said before paying for the 3 pizzas and beginning to walk out.
“Remus wait. Oh come on. Stop walking quickly away form me.”
SIrius stalked after his boyfriend as he walked to the car. Seeing Remus get in, he sped up.
“I am sorry. I didn’t knwo it bothered you so much.”
“It’s okay, come on. We need to get moving now.”
Nodding, Sirius got in the car.

A while later, Sirius checked in with Remus.
“Rem, I am hungry again. Would you mind…”
“Just have it Siri. IT is okay. You are allowed to like things I don’t. It just surprised me that we have been together so long and I didn’t know.”
“Okay.” Sirius whispered as he leaned between the car seats to grab the box of pizza.
Unfortunately, that was a mistake. By Reaching between, Remus could not see out of the side. On the motorway, a car came speeding down the slip road to join. Remus could not see. They hit.

“Sirius, Remus. No. Not my brothers. They said they would always be with me if I need. NO!” James cried when he was told.
“Remus is still alive, James.” Peter whispered as Lily wrapped his arms around the crying man. “We need to go to him. He will be blaming himself for Sirius. We need to go to him.”
James just continued to cry.
Lily thought to herself, I cannot believe cold pizza caused this.
