#12 Grimmauld Place and Will Reading
Harry's POV
After leaving Gringotts harry made his way over to Borkin and Burks to use the floo chimney.
As he arrived at the store he sneaked in and used the floo powder on top the mantle shouting “#12 Grimmauld Place,” He said soon being engulfing entering the green fire. Harry seamlessly walked out of the floo. He looked around. Startled as short little creature appeared in front of him. The creature has a slight hunch and long pointed ears. He has a pointed nose and black eyes with a wrinkling frown.
In his mind harry remembered about creature but opted to appear as unknowledgeable of the elf's existence, “Who are you?” Harry asked trying to hide his earlier knowledge of Kreacher.
“Kreacher, loyal servant to the most ancient house of black and you are.” Kreacher said.
Smiling, “Harry James Peverell - Potter - BLACK." as Kreacher heard that name he quickly bowed also seeming to notice the black lordship ring on Harry's finger.
Still frowning, "Apologies Lord Black, Welcome home." as kreacher bowed again.
“Apologies accepted you didn't know, now Kreacher could you show me to the master bedroom? And cook dinner?” Harry asked, hesitantly.
“Yes, this way Lord Black,” Kreacher said. He started walking towards the stairs with Harry trailing behind him. When they reached the master bedroom Harry collapsed on the bed, exhausted. Soon Kreacher appeared with dinner, Harry sat up and ate it at the nearby desktop.
“Thank you Kreacher,” He said before leaving to take a shower in the connecting bathroom before heading to bed. Grabbing a book on Pureblood customs he saw in the nearby shelf, he sat in the bed quietly reading up on Wizengamot Policies and Etiquette. Never noticing the old house elf watching him from the doorway.
Little did Harry know, that one comment along with his interest in pureblood customs left the fringing house elf in tears. Only further cementing his loyalty to the new lord of Black, As he admired the new lords passion it felt as though a new fire lit in his aged eyes. Kreacher went about cleaning up just a little bit better with a more frownless face than he would have before under his previous lord.
~ Next Morning ~
As harry woke up he went straight down stairs to see Kreacher cooking breakfast.
Smiling which shocked Harry, "Morning Lord Black, would you like your eggs scrambled or hard boiled."
"Scrambled." as he finished his words he looked on to the elf never even seeing him smile in the months he was last here with the order in his previous life.
When kreacher finished cooking Harry ate until half way through when an owl flew into the house with a letter with Gringotts seal on it.
After Harry opened it he read finding it was sent to him by Ragnok and shockingly Griphook about his will and if he would come as soon as possible to read it.
"Kreacher, I'll be at Gringotts most of today so i need you to do somethings for me while I'm away." as he looked to the smiling elf.
"What is it Lord Black." answering Harry with a creepy smile.
"I need you to pack up my breakfast to go and while I'm out I need you to compile any and all books on wizarding politics, pureblood customs, magic, and etiquette."
"It shall be done Lord Black." having already left with a loud crackle.
~ 10 mins later ~
After getting ready Harry flooed to Gringotts and walked out of a chimney near the entrance to the bank, as Harry walked up to the podium Ragnok and Griphook walked over to Harry.
"Good morning Lord Potter." said Ragnok as Griphook followed with his own greetings, in which Harry scoffed at after remembering Griphook almost suffocated him in the Lestrange vault.
"We should go now to were the will will be read." said Griphook as the pair of goblins led Harry to a circular room with a Crystal ball in the middle.
Looking around the round room Harry notices the crystal ball Infront of both Ragnok and Griphook.
"Please take a seat Lord Potter." as Griphook gestured to the seat across the two goblins.
"So is this how you read my parents will." as he looked at the crystal ball in the center of the table.
"Yes Lord Potter, this is how you'll hear your parents will." said Griphook tapping onto the crystal ball.
After Griphook touched the sphere it started to glow brightly with Lily and James soon showing up.
After a moment the two began to speak, "My name is James Flemont Potter," as the mans voice cracked his wife continued, "And my name is Lilly Evans Potter, todays date is July 2, 1980." As Harrys eyes widen at the fact this was made less than a month before his birth.
As the pair continued, "This is both our last will and testimony." Explaining how the troubles of Voldemort and the War along with Harry's upcoming birth have frightened them into believing they need to make a will incase of there untimely demise.
When they got to the distribution of assets they gave all their money and property to harry from there home in Godric's Hollow to their vaults and invisibility cloak.
Then after announcing giving their final things to their friends they got to who would raise Harry.
After sighing and looking down, "In the event of me and my wife's death Harry should be sent to life with the following people from first priority to last, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Severus Snape..." When Harry heard the name of Snape he question why they thought to send him to Snape after he heard Snape and James hated each other.
After Snape they called out the names of Minerva McGonagall, Augusta Longbottom, Molly Weasley and so on until the end were they shared a list of who not to send the boy to incase of unavailability of the other candidates, "We wish that in the event of those we have listed availability we ask Harry to not be housed or cared for by Albus Dumbledore as we fear with his work and part in the war not to mention his age and views it could be harmful to our sons upbringings," as then Lily spoke, "the only other people we don't want to raise Harry is Petunia Evans my sister." said Lily with a haste tone.
As the two finished there last goodbyes to Harry who they assumed would be listening the ball turned black as Ragnok stood, "This concludes the final Will Mr. and Mrs. Potter created."
Harry thinking for a moment asked the pair, "So who would be in line to become my guardian?"
"Well as Mr. Black is incarcerated in Azkaban, and Mr. Lupin is a Werewolf, the next in line to be your guardian would be Severus Snape." said Griphook reassured by Ragnoks nod.
Sighing Harry just accepted his fate, "Fine but what about Dumbledore and my cousins It said they both would have no right to me, yet i still lived there until recently."
"While that is a problem we can't do much about that aspect of your case unless we involve MBCS (Magical Britain Child Services)." as Griphook explained the organization.
Intrigued Harry asked who'd they recommend he talk to in regards to his case.
They responded with the name, "Elinore Nott, she's the best lawyer in the Ministry."
Looking at a nearby clock Harry simply got up and thanked both goblins before leaving.
Using the floo he previously used to get into Gringotts Harry flood his way back to #12 Grimmauld Place where Kreacher was awaiting him already having finished his tasks.
"Lord Black I hope you completed all you needed done at Gringotts." As harry nodded to Kreacher.
"Kreacher I have a new task for you assuming you already finished." Kreacher nodded replying quickly, "Yes Lord Black, all the books you asked for are siting on your bedside table."
"Thank you Kreacher now I just need you to send some letters to Severus Snape and Elinore Nott about a meeting regarding the will reading of my late parents." As Harry smiled to Kreacher as the elf simply nodded and snapped away.
~ 1 hour later ~
"Lord Black, both Severus Snape and Elinore Nott have agreed to a meeting next week at Gringotts." As Kreacher Snapped in on Harry reading from his new pile of books.
"Good job Kreacher, I have nothing else for you." as Kreacher nodded and exited the room with another load snap, leaving Harry thinking he will never get used to the noise.
After Kreacher left Harry got back to reading his new books some of which were titled:
Laws Throughout The Ages: Magical Britain Edition (a never ending book that self adds new laws from Magical Britain every time there made and updates them accordingly)
Pureblood Families (all noble and pureblood family trees all the way back from first wizards in ancient civilizations)
Roles of Nobility (showing the roles each rank in society have and there obligations ex: Lord's have to work and provide for the families, noble Lady's are the matriarchs and networkers they do all social events like how Narcissa plans her Yule Balls)
Controlling Emotions (How to deceive and how to control others and yourself through your emotions)
History of Black Magic (How to cast 'Dark Magic')
Do's and Don'ts of Magical Society (basic outline of how to act in Magical Britain ex: greetings of different intellectual species like goblins and werewolves who have there own customs)
Wizengamot Rules and Regulations (How the Wizengamot works and operates within the Ministry and Magical Britain)
Founding of the Ministry (How the Monarchy ended and the Ministry and subsequently the Wizengamot came to existence)
