Chapter 1
“Mom, can we talk?” Luna said in the sweetest voice Lily has ever heard.
“Of course, Luna, what is it?”
“Well… I’m kind of in love with my friend… you know Ginny, right?”
“That Weasley girl?” Lily asked, and Luna nodded her head.
“Well, can’t blame you. Red heads are hot” Pandora said jokingly before giving Lily a quick kiss.
“But what do I have to do, mom?” Luna asked giggling.
“Does she like you back?”
“I… I suppose so…”
“Dora, how did we get together? It’s kind of the same with them, isn’t it?”
“We were kinda forced to dance at the ball by James”
“No, before that”
“We worked together in Potions class when Sev was bullying me, and you stood up for me”
“Luna, do you and Ginny have any classes together?”
“Yeah, Defense against the dark arts and Potions” Luna said “But I don’t really think Ginny is ever gonna get bullied, though. She’s the popular one”
“So was I, Luna. You’re just like Dora, and Ginny is just like me”
“There’s a Winter ball in 2 weeks, right? After winter break?”
“Yes, why?” Luna asked.
“You could just… help each other with your hair and give her tulips in her hair. Tulips stand for ‘Hopelessly in love’ and she knows that”
“Are you sure that will work?” Luna asked, really insecure about it.
“Luna sweetheart, we’ve seen this film before, and last time it worked so I think it’ll work this time as well”
The doorbell rang, and Lily opened the door. It was Ginny.
“Want a cup of tea, Ginny?” Lily asked politely. The four of them had a lot to talk about.
