Tanizaki Jun'ichiro
Tanizaki was just resting in the office cafe. Today was mostly a free day for the Agency. Which had been surprising due to how many cases they had been getting recently. However, Tanizaki just thought that it had to do with the Dead Apple Incident, as Dazai calls it, messing up everything, and the Agency had just caught up to it all.
But that was in the past; now Tanizaki had free time away from the agency and his sister. Sure, he loved her, but not the way she wanted it. He was happy that he finally had time to himself.
Quickly, something changed in the air. Something was wrong, but Tanizaki didn’t know what. He felt a slight sharp pain in his chest.
-”Am I having a heart attack?!”
He thought as he panicked slightly. But the pain went away very quickly, taking something with it.
-”Oh my god! Am I dying?!”
Tanizaki’s thoughts raced due to the empty and numb feeling he had. Soon, glacier blue light surrounded Tanizaki. It startled him.
-”Ah!”
He yelped as he fell to the ground. He didn’t know what was happening, and that light startled him. Once it dissipated, he stood back up. He held his head, he had slightly hit it on the ground during his fall. He was fine, though. Sure, he had a headache, but he’d live.
Tanizaki was then engulfed in a blinding, mint green light. He just couldn’t catch a break, huh? Tanizaki used his arms to try and protect himself from whatever was happening. His ears were ringing, and his mind was reeling. When he opened his eyes, there was no longer bright light. He relaxed a little as he stepped backwards.
-”WHOA! Jun’ichiro-kun is that you!? No way!”
A loud yet equally exciting voice called out from behind Tanizaki. He turned around slowly, but soon, some type of glowing green thing practically hugged his face.
-”Oh my god, it is you! No way! This is SO crazy!”
The small creature grabbed Tanizaki by the hair and seemingly pulled his head in one direction and then the other. Tanizaki was so overstimulated. He had no idea what was happening, and his brain kinda short short-circuited the second he saw this glowing green being. The green things words finally sunk into Tanizaki.
-”Wait, you know who I am?”
He asked curiously. He was SO confused. The being stopped shaking Tanizaki and detached itself from his face and hair. Giving Tanizaki some much needed breathing space. The being seemed to float around Tanizaki as if gravity did not affect it.
-”Oh, right! You’ve never met me before! Hmmm”
The being hummed in consideration. Tanizaki just stood there slumped as he was finally able to compute what was happening. Just as something finally clicked for Tanizaki, the green glowing thing spoke again.
-”Well, for starters, I’m Shizuno! I’m your Skill “Light Snow”, aaaaannnnnnddddd… I think that’s it! … Oh! Also, I don’t know how I’m here!”
Shizuno smiled happily at the baffled and dumbfounded Tanizaki. It was silent for a while before Tanizaki promptly fainted.
-”Oop.”
Shizuno said nonchalantly as she watched Tanizaki fall to the ground. He hit his head on the ground again.
-”Welp, that was unexpected.”
Shizuno floated down to the ground grabbing a stick and poking Tanizaki’s face. She would wait for him to wake up.
