sorry if there any mistake, english isn’t my first language 😞😞This is kinda inspired in "someone new" by Hozier.

James Potter was used to falling in love.

Maybe not exactly falling in love, but it wasn't an unknown feeling to like a person intensely.

In his first year he fell in love with the woman who is now one of his best friends.

When he saw Lily Evans walk fearfully towards the sorting hat, he felt his heart fill with a warm feeling.

The warmth in his chest only grew with the days, as he realized how smart and self-assured the redhead was.

In his second year, when he wanted to join the Quidditch team, his heart once again was filled with a warmth feeling.

Frank was an unexpected interest, but not annoying.

As the years went by, more and more love interests came into his life.

It didn't matter to him the gender, the age, the appearance or the personality.

Although he did have a little pattern —not so little pattern— of falling in love with people with sharp tongues.

It wasn't strange to him or his friends that every time he went out, a person caught his attention.

Whether at a party, in a supermarket, in a restaurant, in a bar. There was always someone who caught his attention.

However, when someone he didn't know caught his attention, it was strange that his interest lasted.

Normally to the end of the day the interest would be gone.

That's why he found it really annoying that he couldn't get that boy out of his head.

He didn't even know his name. He only knew that his hair was curly and that he had ice-cold eyes that hypnotized you.

That afternoon he had gone out only with Peter and Marlene, since Remus and Sirius were busy with their boyfriends things and James was really dying to eat fast food.

So he dragged the two blondes with him to the first fast food restaurant he found.

That's when he saw it. A few tables away from them were a boy and a girl. The blonde girl with her hip-length curly hair was gorgeous, but the boy stole his breath.

His expression was soft as he spoke to his friend —girlfriend?—, writing something down on his cell phone in the process.

His curly hair fell into his eyes as he spoke. As he got up from the table and headed to the counter, James had to remind himself to close his mouth and that he had to breathe or he would be in trouble.

"Dios santo..." Peter and Marlene shared discreet smiles as they heard him and noticed what was happening. James sometimes forgot that English existed and that his friends didn't understand Spanish —except for Lily— when he was surprised.

The boy moved with incredible elegance, the soft expression that had occupied his face seconds ago forgotten. He had a jaw and cheekbones that James was sure could cut paper and oh- when the curls stopped covering his eyes, the Gryffindor could see two mesmerizing eyes, one icy blue and one completely black, but they were both cold. James was dying to get lost in them.

There was no way that boy wasn't a model, he had an incredible beauty and he was sure he had seen him somewhere else, but he couldn't remember where.

While he was eating —and trying not to look at the other table like a stalker— James was trying so hard to get that beautiful boy out of his head and he did a good job.

As the minutes passed, James was able to concentrate again on the conversation of his friends and was able to laugh again without paying attention to the beautiful boy. —Maybe yes, but only a little and he wasn't going to admit it.—

Although he managed to clear his mind that afternoon, the problem returned that night and the next day and the next and the next after that.

James couldn't understand why this interest didn't go.

He could understand being intensely in love with a friend or acquaintance, because he could talk to that person and express everything he felt.

But a stranger?

A stranger —a beautiful stranger with hypnotizing eyes— who hasn't let him sleep well for two weeks.

A heavy sigh left his lips and Sirius, who had been trying to get his attention for several minutes laughed, knowing how his best friend was lost in his thoughts.

"James!"

The scream snapped him out of his thoughts, making James look at his friend with wide eyes as he cocked his head slightly in doubt —Lily always said that if it weren't for his bambi eyes, he’d look like a puppy— "Mm?"

"I was telling you that if you can accompany me to a place... Reggie will participate in his first runway and he gave me tickets so I could go with friends." The excitement and happiness could be heard in his voice.

James smiled. "I'd love to, Pads!" He was so happy that his best friend was reconnecting with his younger brother after years of no contact. "When?"

"In two more days"

James nodded, watching as Remus entered the room and his best friend's attention on his person left with a "Moony!"

As the day of the runway arrived, the beautiful stranger filled more and more his mind. Every time he closed his eyes he could see the heterochromatic eyes and those lovely curls.

He was going crazy.

Also, for some reason the closer that Friday got, the more James' nerves increased and he couldn't understand why, he was only going to accompany his best friend.

Nothing incredible out of the ordinary would happen. They would see a runway with the younger black on it, James would fall in love with a stranger and then they’d return to the apartment the four friends shared.

When Friday came, James was more anxiety than person, but he successfully managed to hide it from his friends.

He needed help from Lily, Marlene and Mary to dress according to the dress code, but it was worth the suffering of three women —although Marlene hadn't helped much, she just criticized him the whole time— using him as a mannequin when he arrived at the place and he didn't feel completely out of place.

Oh...

All the people in the place looked so elegant. But there was someone there who stood out above all the others, he looked like a Greek god among mortals.

Everyone —including himself and his friends— looked incredibly simple in comparison to the beautiful stranger who hadn't left his mind for days.

"Reggie!"

James watched in surprise as Sirius called with a smile and the beautiful stranger turned to look at them.

Oh.

Regulus Acturus Black.

The beautiful stranger and the unknown younger brother of his best friend.

Oh fuck...

The conversation that was being held in the group Regulus was in stopped. James could see how there were two boys —not counting Regulus— and two girls. One of them being the same blonde he saw two weeks ago. The girl hung on the arm of the beautiful boy—not so unknown anymore— and she began to drag him towards them.

The two approached the marauders, Regulus with a blank expression and the blonde girl with a kind smile.

"This is my brother, Regulus and…" Sirius trailed off, wanting the beautiful blonde to introduce herself.

"Oh!" She laughed softly "Pandora Rosier, Reg's best friend." The kind smile never left her face and Regulus continued with a blank expression. "Reg is very happy that you could come"

Regulus rolled his eyes, but neither agreed nor disagreed with his best friend's comment.

The conversation continued for a couple of minutes. Pandora spoke to everyone in the group with incredible naturalness and Regulus only spoke to his older brother.

Still, James found it fascinating.

The entire time James was near the beautiful boy, he couldn't take his eyes off of him for more than a minute.

Now, closer and with more light, James could notice certain things. One of his eyes wasn't completely black, it was just a brown dark enough to look black, that Regulus and Sirius shared the same nose  and the same hair color, a very dark, curly brown.

James couldn't believe the boy was real, it shouldn't be possible.

Pandora checked the time on the watch on her wrist "Sorry it's time to go, the show is about to start."

Both models needed to go prepare for their first professional runway.

Regulus and Pandora walked away, one with a simple nod and the other with a bright smile. Their arms were still intertwined.

When Regulus walked away, James let out a breath from his lips he didn't know he was holding.

His mind was totally blank, that's why he didn't think about what he said.

"Sirius..."

The mentioned looked at him with curiosity and his other two friends did the same.

"I think... I think I'm in love with your brother" he didn't finish speaking when a blow came to his arm.

"¡¿Y eso por qué fue?!" James exclaimed, looking at his best friend in surprise as he rubbed his sore arm.
