Hello! Welcome to my garden of stories. I have a lot of this story pretty well written ahead of time. I have my cowriter Froog with me and they help me with it. We have a lot of this going to make it easier to update but we will still work on getting it written to stay ahead of the game.

First day of classes

Alethea was walking to the great hall for breakfast and hid a yawn behind her hand. After entering the great hall, she spotted the twins and Arthur at the Gryffindor table. She sat next to George. She got a cup of coffee before turning to them, “I’m going to Snape real quick to get my schedule.”

The twins both said okay while Arthur was starting to fall asleep again after humming to let Alethea know he heard her. “Looks like someone is sleepy,” laughed George nodding to the male who almost faceplants into his food.

Fred smiles at Arthur and has him lean against him before putting an arm around him, “So you don’t faceplant and hurt yourself while we wait.”

Alethea quickly walked to the head table and smiled lightly at Snape and Sprout, “Hello, sir. Hello, ma’am. I was wondering if I could get both mine and Arthur Lupin’s schedules. We’re sitting at the Gryffindor table this morning and so I was wanting to save you trying to find us and the trip to the other table.”

Sprout nodded her head and handed Alethea the schedules while Snape asked, “Why are you two sitting at the Gryffindor table?”

“We were going to sit together since he’s been having trouble with the usual badger, so we were coming up with a plan to both handle that as well as for me to help a student and there is no rule explicitly stating that we must sit at our table house other than for other schools arriving, the opening and ending feast.” Answered back Alethea while she took a look at the schedules.

Snape nodded his head and gestured that Alethea could leave back to the place she was sitting at. She dipped her head at him with a small smile. She turned around and walked back to the Gryffindor table. Once Alethea got back to the table she saw that Fred had his arm around Arthur’s shoulders. Alethea’s eyes widened a fraction and she fought against a big smile.

She was almost at the twins and Arthur when she spotted a boy putting some toast in his pocket. She furrowed her eyebrows as she magicked a parchment bag and added an expansion charm to it before walking up to him. She cleared her throat as she got behind him to let him know she was approaching. Once he turned around, she smiled gently, “Hi there, My name is Alethea Nightshade and I just wanted to ask if you can come with me for a second?”

He hesitated before nodding and they walked to an area by one of the doors to the great hall. Alethea handed him the bag with a sad smile, “I had a feeling you would want to stay in a public area but I didn’t want anyone to overhear. You don’t wanna get crumbs or grease in your pockets or bag. Here’s this if you need it and know you can always talk to me and I can always help you in any way I can. I’m friends with the Weasley twins and am usually with them.”

The boy nodded his head and thanked Alethea taking the bag before heading back to his seat. Once Alethea got back to her seat she wiggled her eyebrows at Fred. ‘Not a word’ mouthed Fred towards Alethea. He did not want to wake up the smaller male with Alethea squealing over how cute they looked together or anything close to that, but of course that didn’t stop her from taking images so she is able to tease the two later about it.

“You should probably wake your sleeping beauty, Fred.” Alethea whisper-sang since she knew the smaller male would kill anyone and everyone that bothers him if he doesn't have his cup of morning tea. Fred just glared at her lightly because he didn’t want to wake the smaller male from his peaceful sleep but he also knows the consequences if he didn’t wake him up for his cup of tea.

“Fine… Art wake up sleepy head… Your tea is ready…” Fred whispers to the smaller male trying to wake him up without getting killed or scaring him.

“Mmmm” Arther opens his tired eyes to see a cup of ginger pear white tea in front of him in his favorite mug. Since he was still half asleep he said something that he will later be embarrassed for… “Thanks Love…” This made the two across from them eyes widen and the redhead next to him blush just as bright as his own hair. Fred was used to the smaller male calling him idjit or dumbass, or even just his normal name, but not once has he called him ‘Love’. The only person Arthur has called Love is Alethea but he has never called anyone else that name before.

Alethea’s nose twitched showing she was trying not to smile. She cleared her throat lightly, “How did everyone sleep last night?”

Arthur shook his head and smiled softly, “I slept good, we had our cuddle pile in the commons last night”

Fred huffed lightly before smiling tensely, “That sounds fun. Can I join next time?”

Arthur smiled sadly, “Sadly it’s a puff thing…”

Alethea got a mischievous look on her face, “We can always use the come-and-go room. Should I ask now or later? We can do it Friday night”

“You can ask now. It’s probably better ahead of time than last minute, you know…” answered Arthur. He was finally starting to fully wake up, but right when he was going to continue talking the bell for classes rang so they all had to get their stuff together and head off to their classes.

“Let’s get to class we don’t want to be late on our first day back.” Alethea said while getting her stuff and handing Arthur his class schedule.

“Come on Fred we got pranks to set up too.” said George while he pulled Fred with him out of the mess hall.

“Welp there goes the idjits…” sighed Arthur who was walking with Alethea to their first class of the new school year.

“I thought he was your Love~.” Alethea giggled at Arthur, who was giving her a confused look.
“My what?” He asked trying to figure out what she was talking about.

“Do you remember what you said to Fred when you woke up Arty?~” This made Arthur freeze right before they got to their classroom door. The words he said to Fred after he woke the smaller male up came back to him.

“Shit…” Arthur muttered while his face was just as bright red as the boy he was crushing on. When Alethea saw his face she couldn’t stop herself from laughing. “Stop laughing Thea…” whined Arthur, “How am I supposed to face Fred now…”

“Don’t worry my dear Arty he didn’t seem to mind the new nickname. In fact, I believe he Loved it~.” snickered Alethea and they both finally entered their classroom.

“Ugh… can I disappear now… Please…” pouted the male but he already knew the answer to that question.

Alethea calmed down and shook her head, “Nope, my dear friend. I honestly do really think he liked it though. He did seem shocked but happy.” She thought for a second before huffing “We didn’t ask them to HogsMeade!”

They sat down in their seats next to each other. She took out her quill and bound book, turning to Arthur “Hey Artie, did you bring your dictaquill?”

“I believe I did… Let me check…” Arthur said, looking through his satchel trying to find his dictaquill. Once he finds it with his bound book he pulls them out and sets them in front of himself, “Found it.”

“Great! It seems we’re both ready for the lesson to begin then.” Alethea hummed smiling as they both saw their professor starting the lesson.

~Time to free period~

After going from class to class Alethea and Arthur finally hit their free period before Lunch time begins. “Finally we’re free!” yelled Arthur as he stretched out his back with a couple of pops coming from it. “Are we going to the Library today or to our usual spot by the Lake?” the young male asked, turning to his smaller friend.

“I was thinking about looking for the twins since they are probably pranking someone and we still have to ask them about hogsMeade.” Answered the female companion.

“Okay… How are we going to do that?” Arthur said looking at Alethea who was just looking at her book.

When she heard the question she slowly looked up at the male with a mischievous smile on her face. Arthur knew exactly what that look meant and his face already started to redden. “FRED SOMEONE IS HITTING ON YOUR MAN AGAIN!” screamed the female who was trying not to laugh at her friend's tomato red face. Arthur didn’t believe that would work but that didn’t stop his face from being so red because of all the looks they were getting from the other students around them.

“There’s no wa-” the black hair male started but he was interrupted by a taller body flying into him from behind. Before both bodies could hit the floor Alethea and another person used their wands to stop the two from hitting the floor.

Once Arthur was on his feet he felt an arm wrap around him and a familiar voice saying “Sorry Art, I didn’t mean to run into you like that.” When the smaller male looked over at who was saying that he saw his crush looking down at him with a bright smile on his face.

“It’s n-no p-p-problem Lo-Fred.” stuttered out the smaller male with a bright red face.

“What happened to Love Arty~” teased both Alethea and George to the smaller male.

“Shut up.” grumbled Arthur looking away from the group.

Alethea smiled and turned to George, “Do you two want to go to HogsMeade with us?”

“Sure why not.” shrugged George while Fred was staring at Arthur who was still looking away from everyone with a bright red face. “What’re you looking at, brother?~” teased George towards Fred, who looked away fast from Arthur because the smaller male turned towards him to see what was up. This made both George and Alethea break down laughing at the two boys.

While they were laughing though Arthur saw a blonde boy who looked a couple of years younger than him teasing a brunette with his friends. “Hey, Thea isn’t that the blonde boy you told me about? And Ron’s friends over there?” asked Arthur pointing to the group of kids across the hall from them.

Alethea stopped laughing to look where her friend was pointing. When she saw what was happening her demeanor changed to the cold Slytherin that all the other Slytherins see her as. “I’ll be right back boys.” she said before speed-walking over to the other group.

“I’m going to follow her to make sure she doesn’t kill anyone… Stay here just in case we need back-up.” said Arthur while he ran some to catch up with Alethea.

“Oi, Daddy’s boy! What in the bloody hell do you think you are doing to these Gryffindors?” yelled Alethea at the blonde boy laughing at the Gryffindor group in front of them.

“Alethea? Arthur?” said the red-haired young Gryffindor that was standing between a brunette girl and boy.

“Hey Ron-” started Arthur but the blonde boy cut him off.

“The name is Draco Malfoy, not Daddy's boy! And Why do you care? They’re just a couple of mud bloods and a blood-traitorous Weasley.” replied Draco to Alethea who was now in front of him between the two groups while Arthur is behind her sideways so he can talk to Ron and his friends and be able to watch Alethea’s movements.

Alethea stood taller, “Remember Malfoy, I’m older than you. You will respect me. I don’t give a hippogriff’s arse whether you think I don’t care. We ALL have magic whether you think they are deserving or not. You treat your fellow magicals with respect. Think of what they can do in the future. If you snub then you lose out. I will be speaking to you further in the common room.” Gilbert, Alethea’s opal corn snake, stuck his head out of her collar to give Draco the stink eye while hissing.

Alethea motions for Arthur to explain to the Gryffindors while she steps closer to Malfoy and takes a deep breath, “Malfoy, I will be talking to you further in the commons soon this week. I will not further embarrass you in public but we will be having a chat about timing and appropriateness, okay?”. Arthur scoots closer to the Gryffindors, “She’s acting as expected of a pureblood Slytherin. She does care for more than what you can do.”

Alethea headed back towards the twins with Arthur following while he had his nose in a book. They all four walked to the great hall for lunch.

"George? George? GEORGE!"

-George POV-

When I saw Alethea start to speed walk to where Arthur was pointing I was confused at first until I saw what was happening. At first, I wanted to join in too but Arthur told Fred and me to wait while he followed over to back her up.

“Oi, Daddy’s boy! What in the bloody hell do you think you are doing to these Gryffindors?” yelled Alethea at the blonde boy laughing at my brother and his new friends.

“Alethea? Arthur?” my younger brother, Ron, said while standing between a brunette girl and boy.

“Hey Ron-” started Arthur but the blonde boy cut him off.

“The name is Draco Malfoy, not Daddy's boy! And Why do you care? They’re just mud bloods and a blood traitorous Weasley.” replied Draco to Alethea who was now in front of him between the two groups while Arthur is behind her sideways so he can talk to Ron and his friends and be able to watch Alethea’s movements.

If you snub then you lose out.”

Alethea made a motion behind her back that made Arthur explain what was happening to my brother and his friends while she stepped closer to Malfoy junior to say something I couldn’t hear. The way she handled it was just amazing. She was just so…. amazing. Well I mean she was always very talented with dealing with brats or Slytherins in general. Plus she's always helped Fred and I with anything we ask for…Shit I'm turning into Fred with how he acts with Arthur…wait… does that mean…

-3rd person pov-

"GEORGE!" yelled Alethea to snap George out of his daydreaming.

"Sorry Thea… What did you say?" asked George while he rubbed the back of his neck with a slight blush covering his cheeks.

"We were talking about what time do you two want to meet up with Arty and me for HogsMeade?" She asked the taller male.

"Uhh…whenever you guys want to. I think we should try for the first ride out so we don't have to deal with the rush."

Alethea nods her head before smiling big and tilting her head, “We could go after breakfast?”

"Yeah, that sounds good to me. What about you Fred?" George said, turning to his brother who was staring at Arthur.

"Sounds good…" he said while still staring/daydreaming. George and Alethea just laughed at the love-sick boy while he stared at the smaller male who wasn't paying any attention to what was happening besides reading his book.

Alethea giggled and fought against the urge to get Arthur’s attention. “We’ll get Lunch together. Do you guys want to eat at my table?”

Alethea straightened as she remembered something before standing, “I’m going to ask the professors if we can use the come-and-go room.” Walking to the professor’s table, she stopped in front of McGonagall, Sprout, and Snape, she bowed her head at them, “Professors, Would you mind too terribly meeting me in the hallway real quick?”

They all went out to the hallway before Alethea looked at the teachers “Are Fred, George, Arthur, and I able to go to the come-and-go room?”

They all tilted their heads or furrowed their brows in confusion before McGonagall said, “What is the come-and-go room?”

Alethea’s eyes widened for a fraction of a second before clearing her throat, “I’m terribly sorry I meant The room of requirement. The room that changes as you need and was created by Helga Hufflepuff.”

Snape raises his eyebrow before he drawls, “And why pray tell you would need to go to the room of requirement with those troublemaking Weasleys?”

Mcgonagall levels a glare at Snape before she sighs.

Alethea takes a quick breath before explaining how Arthur had mentioned the nest in the Hufflepuff common room the night before and they wanted to be able to hang out with their friends before quickly stating that at least she asked first. “After all you can’t get caught if you have permission, sir.”

Mcgonagall levels a stare at Alethea before sighing, “I will allow it however I will be checking on you four around midnight to make sure that you are actually sleeping and not using this opportunity to cause mischief. And if you have homework assigned you must finish it that night that it is assigned.”

Alethea spots Snape give a minute nod while she smiles, “That works wonderfully professors thank you very much!”

Sprout smiles widely before looking at Alethea, “Also Miss Nightshade 40 points to Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Gryffindor for inter-house unity. “

Alethea smiled, “Thank you, professors, I will head back to let them know now." Alethea does a small bow to the professors and heads back to the others.

Once she gets back to her friends, all she sees is George. "Where are Arty and Fred?" asked Alethea, tilting her head. All she got back from him was a mischievous smile.

Alethea shakes her head while she sits next to George where he had placed a plate with her favorite foods on it.
