A Wonderful Journey

It was lunch time for the gang and their pokémon, everyone were helping preparing the lunch when suddenly they heard an explosion nearby.

"What was that?"Alexia wondered.

They immediately ran over to see what was going on, once there they see Aipom and Piplup fighting each other.

"Why are they fighting each other?"Katie asked.

"Most of the time, it's because one of them stole the other's food, or because they were just having fun and the situation got out of hand. I think that's what's happening here."Alexia replied, Ash nodded in agreement.

"You think?"

"This happened a while ago, so my memories are a bit blurry."Alexia shrugged.

"Hey, you two! Cut it out!"Ash called out.

"Stop your fighting right now!"Dawn demanded.

Unfortunately they didn't listen to them, as Turtwig decide to put a end to it as he leap in the air. But sadly for Turtwig he was blown back by Aipom's Focus Punch and Piplup's Peck attack. This made Turtwig angrier as he attack them back with a Razor Leaf.

"Poor Turtwig... He just wanted to help."Marietta said.

"I don't think him attacking them back will help."Roger said.

"Hey! You can treat my Piplup like that!"Dawn protested.

"Dawn, calm down. Turtwig was only trying to break them up."Alexia said, they watch as Aipom and Piplup stop fighting. "See."

"Cool! Turtwig, thanks!"Ash said, only for Turtwig to jump and bite Ash's head. "Hey, cut it out already!"He said, laughing, as he tried to pull Turtwig off.

"Pathetic."A familiar voice sneered.

Everyone turned around and see Paul standing there, looking at them unimpressed.

"How long has he been there?"Harry wondered.

"Hey, it's Paul."Ash said, Paul smirk at being recognized. "You sure do know how to show up somewhere out of nowhere."

"I'm just training to get ready, for the Oreburgh Gym battle."Paul replied.

"That's quite a coincidence, since we're traveling there, too."Alexia said, Paul's caught sight of Turtwig.

"Am I seeing things, or is that Turtwig your new Pokémon?"Paul asked.

"Yeah! You're not seeing things. We're talking strong."Ash chuckled.

"Doesn't look so to me."Paul sneered.

Many frowned at how quickly he was to judge Ash's Pokémon...

"What!?"Ash snapped.

Alexia frowned."Once again, he's judging Ash's Pokémon with a simple glance..."

"Oh yeah? Well, let's have a battle, so I can show you!"Ash said, with confidence.

"Fine. Our last battle had put a bad taste in my mouth. And I also want to give my friend here for a chance of revenge."Paul said, as he threw his Pokéball. And Chimchar came out of it.

"Hey, Turtwig! How do you feel about battling right now?"Ash asked.

"Wig..."Turtwig nodded as he walked in front of Ash.

"Ash! A Fire type like Chimchar has an advantage over a Grass type!"Dawn tried to explain.

"Knowing Ash, type advantage doesn't mean much."Alexia said, which make many confused.

"Not this time."Ash muttered, glaring at Paul.

"Are you sure you want to use Turtwig? You two haven't done much training together since you had caught him."Alexia said, with concerned.

"How long as its been since he caught Turtwig?"Hermione asked.

"2-3 days after, I think?"Alexia said, looking at Ash.

Ash nodded."It was 3 days after."

"Oh, then I can see why she's concern about you using Turtwig."Hermione said.

"Yeah! Turtwig and I got this!"Ash answered, Alexia sighed at how stubborn he was. Then Brock volunteered to be the referee like the last time, but Paul told him it wasn't necessary.

The battle was going to take place near a ledge where a waterfall was close by.

"You can go first."Paul said.

"Well, I'm not going to hold back! Turtwig, use Tackle!"Ash called.

Turtwig immediately took off charging right at Chimchar...

"Quick, dodge it!"Paul yelled, Chimchar quickly evaded the move, as Paul was done. "Now, use Scratch!"

Chimchar obeyed as he quickly get close to Turtwig.

"Dodge it!"Ash called out, but Turtwig didn't listen and chose to block the attack instead. Everyone gasped, except Paul, who frowned.

Everyone frowned, when Turtwig didn't listen.

"Why didn't Turtwig dodge?"

"Because Turtwig was a pretty stubborn little guy early on."Alexia replied.

Ash sighed."Yeah, we had to work on that..."

"Why didn't Turtwig dodge, like I told him to?"Ash wondered... "Now, use Razor Leaf!"

But Paul was quick to countered. "Ember."

The leaves were scorched as the attack continued on its way towards Turtwig. The latter, once again, made no move to dodge the attack, preferring to block it once again... Turtwig tried to endure it, but got pushed back.

"This is going to become a problem if Turtwig continues not to dodge..."Ginny frowned.

"Yeah, I don't think they'll win if he goes on like this.."Harry nodded.

"That Chimchar must've gotten stronger."Brock said.

"Pika..."

"Why won't you dodge? Alright then... Use Synthesis to heal yourself!"Ash shouted, Turtwig obeyed as he started to gained energy from the sun, healing his wounds...

"At least he have a move that can heal the damage he took."Ernie said.

"Even then that's not going to do much since he doesn't even dodge."Susan pointed out.

"Waste of time! Chimchar, finish it with Flame Wheel!"Paul called, Chimchar surrounded himself in fire as he charged at Turtwig.

"Uh oh! This time, Turtwig! You've got to dodge it!"Ash warned. But sadly, Turtwig once again ignored the order and took the Flame Wheel, head on!

"Turtwig, are you okay?"Ash asked, Turtwig shook off the burn as it prepared for more. "Why don't you dodge when I say so?"

"Are you done yet?"Paul sneered.

"Of course not! Turtwig, use Bite!"Ash ordered.

Turtwig ran to attack, only to get caught by a net...

"What the!?"Everyone gasped.

"Listen, is that a voice that I hear?"

Everyone groaned, of course it was Team Rocket...

"It's speaking to me loud and clear!"

"On the wind!"

"Past the stars!"

"In your ear!"

"Bringing chaos at a breakneck places!"

"Dashing hope, putting fear in its places."

"A rose with any other name is just as sweet!"

"When everything's worse, our work is complete!"

"Ember!"Paul yelled.

"Ember... Ember!?"Team Rocket stuttered.

Many laughed at the look on Team Rocket's face when they were interrupted.

Chimchar immediately launch his attack at Team Rocket, who screamed as they felt the fire burning them.

"You can't do that!"Meowth complained.

"The kids are still getting used to our new motto!"Jessie shrieked.

"You're wrecking our battle! Get lost!"Paul demanded.

"I like that he doesn't take their bullshit easily."Blaise smirks.

"In general, he doesn't take anyone bullshit."Alexia said.

"Well, there's a twerp with a different color."James stated, staring at Paul.

"Look, Team Rocket! Give me my Turtwig back!"Ash demanded.

"Turtwig?"James repeated, as he, Jessie and Meowth took a closer look at the captive one. They gasped, when it wasn't Pikachu, but it was Turtwig that they've captured.

Many looked at them in disbelief.

"They didn't even realize they'd caught Turtwig instead of Pikachu?"

"And here I thought Ash was the pathetic one."Paul sneered.

"How dare you! Educate the new one, will you!"Jessie demanded.

"Right! Look, twerp, we are known as Team Rocket, the coolest, the smartest, the nastiest, the cheapest... the hungriest..."James explained, then broke down, crying.

"I do have to agree with Paul, they are quite pathetic aren't they?"

"Wow, that's telling them."Meowth scoffed.

"Carnivine, come out and help me!"James ordered. Once again, James was bite by Carnivine... He weakly ordered Carnivine to use Bullet Seed. Carnivine launch his attack towards Paul and Chimchar.

"Get out of the way, Paul!"Ash warned.

"Be quiet! Chimchar, use Ember!"Paul ordered, Chimchar shot out another Ember attack, as both attack battle each other for dominance.

"Now, Turtwig! Use Razor Leaf, let's go!"Ash called, as Turtwig free himself by cutting the net with Razor Leaf, he caught his pokémon before he could touch the ground, with a sighed on relief. "Okay, Pikachu! Time for a little Thunderbolt!"

"Kirlia, use Psybeam!"Alexia called out, wanting to help.

Both Pokémon nodded as they immediately attacked the balloon with their attack. Team Rocket screamed as they were sent flying.

"WE'RE BLASTING OFF AGAIN!"

But then, the impact from the explosion caused Ash to be send flying against a nearby tree, while Paul, Chimchar, Alexia, and Kirlia where send over the ledge.

Everyone gasped, Harry's eyes widen in horror and he grips his seat tightly, worried.

"Oh my god! Alexia!"James and Lily exclaimed, worried, even Sirius and Remus were worried about her. Alexia frowned when she saw that they were worried about her whereas before they hadn't even cared, she wondered what had changed.

"Alexia!"Dawn and Brock gasped, as they looked down to see them falling. Alexia and Kirlia fell in the river, but Paul and Chimchar skillfully made it down safely.

Everyone was surprised by Paul's agility.

"Hey, Alexia!"Dawn called out, as Alexia and Kirlia swam out of the lake.

"Are you two okay?"Brock called.

"Yeah, we're just fine!"Alexia called back.

Everyone sighs a sigh of relief, because this could have ended badly...

"Let's meet at the far side of the forest!"Brock called down.

"Sound good to me!"Alexia replied, before looking back to Paul, only to see him already walking away. "Hey Paul, wait up!"

Later on...

Alexia, Kirlia and Paul were walking in the middle of a dark forest.

"Paul, since we're trying to get out of this forest, why don't we help each other?"Alexia asked.

"That sounds stupid."Paul sneered.

"What? It's not stupid, in fact it's a good idea."

"Hey! What's so stupid about helping each other out?"Alexia asked.

"I just don't need help from a little girl like you."Paul replied.

"Why you..."Alexia glared.

"While you are talking to yourself, you better watch out for Stantlers, since this is Bewilder Forest."Paul said.

"Wait! We are in Bewilder Forest..."Alexia blinked, surprised.

"What's wrong with that forest?"Tonks asked.

"There's a large group of Stantlers living there who like to confuse and bewilder anyone they encounter. But as long as you don't look at their antlers you would be fine."Alexia explained.

"If you didn't even know which forest you are in, then you are pathetic... I'm gone."Paul said, before walking away.

Many frowned at Paul's attitude towards Alexia, when she was just trying to be nice.

Alexia watches him before looking down at Kirlia."Well... Looks like we're on our own now..."

"Kir..."Kirlia nodded.

Sometime later...

Alexia and Kirlia continued to make their way through the Bewilder forest, while Alexia looked around on guard.

"We got to be careful with the Stantlers here..."Alexia said.

"Lia."

Suddenly, noises are heard coming from a bush to their left, and they tense up as a Stantler emerges...

"We need to leave... And don't look at it's antler."Alexia whispered to Kirlia who nodded. They took off running but a Stantler stood in their way, as they look around they realized they were surrounded. With quick thinking, Alexia took one of her Pokéball out.

Everyone tenses up as they see Alexia surrounded by the Stantlers, they become a little worried about what's going to happen next.

"Vulpix, come out! Use Flamethrower to scare off the Stantler!"Alexia called out, Vulpix emerged out of her Pokéball and immediately sends a Flamethrower into the air to frighten the Stantler, which work as they run away... "Thank you, Vulpix."

"Vul! Pix!"Vulpix cried out, enjoying the headpat she was receiving.

Alexia sit down with a sighed."We should probably take a short break before continuing on our way."

"Vulpix!""Kirlia!"

Alexia smiled at their enthusiasm, and sent Eevee out, before opening her backpack to take out some Pokéfood. While she was feeding them, the smell caught the attention of someone close by... Rustling noises from a nearby tree drew their attention and they were on their guard. Suddenly, a small figure jumps from the tree and lands on the ground in front of them. The Pokémon resembles a slug, with the lower half of its body being pinkish, while the upper half is a paler shade of yellow. Along the dividing line of the two colors are five large, purple spots. The front part of this line is its mouth. On top of its head are two pairs of antenna-like horns; the hind pair is longer than the front pair.

Many people squeal at the sight of the adorable Pokémon, while some girls cringe slightly at the resemblance to a slug.

"Aww, it's so cute!"Luna said, excitedly. Some people look at her oddly, while her best friend, Ginny, smiles at her enthusiasm.

"A Goomy? What's a Goomy doing here?"Alexia wondered, before taking her Pokédex out.

"Why are you asking that?"Hannah asked.

"That's because Goomy aren't native of the Sinnoh region but the Kalos region instead, so I was quite surprise to found one here."Alexia respond.

"Goomy, the Soft Tissue Pokémon. Goomy hides away in the shade of trees, where it's nice and humid. Its source of protection is its slimy, germ-laden mucous membrane."

"Why is Goomy a different color then the one in the Pokédex image?"Tracey asked, curiously.

"That's because Goomy is what we call a Shiny Pokémon, which are rare variants of Pokémon that are differently colored than other Pokémon of their species."Alexia explained.

"Oh, that's interesting. And what type is Goomy?"

"Goomy is a dragon type."Alexia replied.

"THAT'S A DRAGON!?"Charlie yelled, in complete disbelief.

"Why, yes she is."

"How could a slug be a dragon?"Charlie asked.

"Pokémon work in mysterious ways..."Alexia smiled.

"Goo?"Goomy tilt its head.

"Hi there. Where you attract by the food?"Alexia asked, in a soft voice trying to not scare Goomy away."Would you like some?"

"Goo.."Goomy approached slowly, while Alexia simply smiled without trying to make any sudden moves, letting Goomy approach at their own pace. Once closed enough, Goomy glance at the food before looking up at Alexia.

"It's okay."Alexia said, reassuringly.

"Goo..."Goomy takes a bite and their face lights up with happiness as Goomy eats with gusto.

"Ahaha, you were hungry, weren't you?"Alexia said, as she rubbed Goomy's head gently.

"Goomy!"Goomy smiled, before jumping on Alexia's head, making Vulpix, Eevee and Kirlia tensed up thinking it was going to attack. Only for Goomy to nuzzle Alexia's head happily.

"That's exactly like Turtwig! Well, except Goomy doesn't bite your head."Ron said.

Alexia giggled."Yeah, and I must say that Goomy is a very affectionate Pokémon."

"Ahahah, you quite affectionate aren't you?"Alexia laughed, before taking Goomy from her head and place it on her lap."I do wondered how you end up here?"

Suddenly, Goomy's mood changes from happy to sad, and it looks down sadly. Alexia frowned at the reaction she got.

Many frowned at how quick Goomy's mood change.

"What's wrong with Goomy?"Neville asked.

"By asking my question, I unknowingly brought back sad memories for Goomy."Alexia replied.

"Did something bad happen to Goomy?"

"Yes, and you're about to find out."Alexia sighed.

"Hey, what's wrong?"Alexia asked, concerned.

"Goo Goomy Goomy Goo!"Goomy was now talking frantically, while Kirlia was doing her best to translate what Goomy was saying to her trainer, Goomy was crying when it finished explaining itself, everyone was frowning at what Goomy had told them.

"So... As I understand it, you were separated from your family and while trying to find them, you were captured by a poacher, which is how you ended up here."Alexia said, with anger in her voice.

Everyone looked at Goomy with sadness, as they couldn't imagine what it must feel like to be separated from their family. Then many became angry at the mention of poacher, and what they might have done to Goomy.

Chikorita looks at Goomy sympathetically, before sighing sadly."Chiko..."

"Is Chikorita okay?"Ash asked, concern.

Alexia gently caresses Chikorita's head as she snuggles up to her trainer."The mention of the word poacher brought back painful memories for Chikorita, because that's how I met her when I rescued her and a group of Pokémon from poachers with the help of some Pokémon Rangers."

Ash frowned."Is this why Chikorita is shy around new people?"

Alexia sighed sadly."Yes."

"Goomy."Goomy nodded sadly.

Alexia was beyond angry at what those poachers had done to poor Goomy, but she put it aside knowing that Goomy needed her. She took Goomy in her arms and began to comfort it. "Shhh... It's okay... It's okay... Goomy."

Goomy wept in her arms, while Vulpix, Eevee and Kirlia joined in the embrace to comfort their new friend. A few minutes later, Goomy has finally calmed down, Alexia hums softly as she looks at Goomy, making a decision.

Everyone watches in silence, not wanting to interrupt this touching moment.

"Hey, Goomy?"She said, gaining its attention. "How would you like to come with us?"

"!?"Goomy was shocked at the question. "Goomy?"

Many hearts break when they see the hopeful look on Goomy's face...

"Yes."Alexia nodded."I would love for you to joined our little family."

"Vul!""Eev!""Kirlia!"Her Pokémon cried out, in agreement.

Goomy starts crying with happiness, before jumping on her."Goomy!"

Alexia laughed."I will take that as a yes."She pulls out one of her Pokéballs and gently touches Goomy's head with it, Goomy is sucked in and the Pokéball shakes once before a ding is heard. "Well, we have a new family member guys." Her Pokémon cried out, in happiness.

Everyone smiles, happy that Goomy won't be alone anymore.

Later on...

Alexia was now continuing her way through the forest, with Goomy sitting comfortably on her head, wanting to spent time with her new trainer. As they were walking, they suddenly heard yelling coming towards them, they looked ahead to see Ash, Dawn, Brock running towards them.

Many laughed when they saw Goomy sitting on Alexia's head, but then frowned when they saw the gang running towards Alexia, and wondered why they were running?

"Hey, guys!"Alexia called, but instantly panicked when she saw a herd of Beedrills chasing after them. She instantly start running, that was until she bumped into a giant Pokémon. She was pushed back, while Goomy fall down from her head.

"Woa..."Brock gasped.

The Pokémon caused all the Breedrills to fly away. Dawn brought her Pokédex out to scan it.

"Ursaring, the Hibernator Pokémon. An excellent tree climber, it can snap trees with its front legs, and eats the fallen fruits of it."

"Wasn't it that Pokémon that attacked you because you tried to pet its baby?"

"Yes."Alexia sighed...

Ursaring roared towards Alexia and Goomy, who took a frightened step backwards. Turtwig coming to their rescue jumped and bite Ursaring's head.

The Potter family tensed up, fearing she might be attacked.

"Turtwig, stop it!"Ash said, as Turtwig tried to hold onto Ursaring.

"Look out!"Dawn and Brock called.

"Pika pi!"Pikachu cried.

Alexia and Goomy were smashed away by Ursaring, as it immediately made another attempt to attack Alexia. But Goomy and Turtwig distracted it with Tackles. Ursaring tried to strike back, but both Pokémon dodged it.

"Oof, that was a nasty hit you got."Theodore said.

"Not really, yes it hurt but it wasn't that bad."Alexia said, which doesn't calm the Potters' nervousness.

"Hey, you're really good at dodging, after all."Ash said.

"Who's that Pokémon?"Dawn asked, looking at Goomy.

"Alright, then! Pikachu, Iron Tail! Turtwig, Razor Leaf!"Ash called.

"Kirlia, Psybeam! Goomy, Dragon Breath!"Alexia called, as well.

Their attacks succeed, but only made Ursaring even more angrier than before. It used Hyper Beam, which resulted with them to run away.

"Yikes, they made Ursaring angrier then he was before..."

"We finally got out of that crazy forest!"Dawn cried out.

"Yeah, but so did Ursaring!"Ash said.

As they run away from Ursaring, they encounter Paul with his Chimchar.

"Look out!"Paul called.

Everybody got out of the way as Chimchar used Flame Wheel on Ursaring.

"Okay, Pokéball, get it!"Paul called, throwing a Pokéball at Ursaring. It shook for a few moments, then stopped.

Everyone blinked.

"That was surprisingly easy..."Seamus said.

"Given the damage he had suffered at the hands of Ash and Alexia's Pokémon, it would of course be easier for Paul to capture him."Hermione said.

"And Flame Wheel did quite alot of damage too."Harry added.

"That's amazing! Ursaring's been caught!"Dawn exclaimed.

"Yeah, but we'll we see how long. If Paul doesn't thinks that they're strong enough, he just lets them go."Ash said, only to see Paul smirking and kept it instead.

"Are you still holding onto that lame Turtwig of yours?"Paul asked.

"What?"Ash growled.

"You should know that by our last battle, that Turtwig is pathetic."Paul sneered, that made Turtwig mad, that was until Ash challenging Paul once again to a battle.

"What's Paul problem?"

"You'll find out later why Paul has this attitude."Ash answered.

"Forget it."Paul scoffed as he began to walk way.

"Hold on a moment!"Alexia called out, Paul paused as he turned toward Alexia. "How about you battle me instead!"

Ash and the others gasped at this. Paul looked at her for a moment before glancing at Kirlia by her side.

"Hmph. Well, if it's a battle you want, then fine. But, don't go crying if you lose."Paul sneered.

"Oh, trust me. That won't happened..."Alexia smirked, Paul grew amused and sent his Chimchar out.

The excitement in the great hall was palpable as many were eager to see Alexia fight again.

Paul: Chimchar VS Alexia: Kirlia

"You can go first."Paul said.

"Alright then, Kirlia, use Psybeam!"Alexia called out.

"You use Ember!"Paul counter.

Both attacks collided against each other and exploded creating a small cloud.

"Use, Psybeam once again!"Alexia quickly called.

Kirlia send another Psybeam at Chimchar, who couldn't see where the attack was coming because of the cloud, which caused him to get hit!

"Yeah! Let's go! You can do it!"Harry cheers for his sister, Alexia looks at him, she knows he's not responsible for the way James and Lily treat her and that they've never been able to bond like siblings, so she doesn't really know how to feel about him. Harry noticed she was looking at him and smiled, but she quickly looked away, causing him to lower his head sadly.

Hermione put a hand on his shoulder."Hey, it's okay, you'll get a chance to talk to her and be able to mend the bridge between you two."

"Yeah, mate, don't give up."Ron said, Harry smiled at his friends.

"Give me a break. Use Flame Wheel, now!"Paul called.

Chimchar surrounded himself in flame before charging at Kirlia, but Alexia wasn't worried...

"Kirlia, spin to avoid the attack!"Alexia called out, as Chimchar attack get closer, Kirlia spun around it, completely avoiding it.

"Woah! How did Kirlia was able to do that?"Ash asked, surprised.

"Oh! That's right! Alexia and Kirlia had done ballet in the past."Dawn said.

"You did ballet?"

Alexia nodded."Yes, I did ballet for two years before I had to stop because I didn't have much free time and had to study harder to get my trainer's license."

"And Kirlia join those session?"

"Yes, and not only that, but while I stopped ballet, Gardevoir did so only a month before our journey began."Alexia replied.

"She love it that much?"

Instead of Alexia answering the question, Gardevoir does. "Gardevoir."

"And she incorporate it in Kirlia battle style."Brock theorized.

"That's right."Dawn nodded.

"Amazing..."Ash muttered, awe. Goomy eye's sparkle as she watches the battle in amazement.

Paul was startled by how Kirlia was able to avoid the attack.

"You're done, now! Kirlia, Psybeam!"Alexia called.

"Why is Alexia only using Psybeam?"Ash wondered.

"Most probably because her only two attacking move are Psybeam and Magical Leaf, and Alexia knows that Magical Leaf won't do much damage, which is why she's only used Psybeam so far."Brock explained.

"Not only that, but Paul could have easily counter it by using Ember."Alexia said.

"But couldn't you have took him by surprise if you had use it?"

"Looking back, yes, I could have."Alexia replied.

They watches as Kirlia blasted Chimchar away with Psybeam.

"Not bad... Chimchar, use dig!"Paul ordered, as Chimchar dug underground. Kirlia started to look around, in slight panic.

"Kirlia, calm down, and clear your mind!"Alexia called, Kirlia nodded and took a deep breath.

"What's she up to?"Paul wondered, just as Chimchar came out, but sadly, he got blasted away by another Psybeam before he could even attacked Kirlia.

Many were impressed by her quick thinking, knowing that if Kirlia had panicked, she might not have been able to see Chimchar coming and counter his attack.

"What!?"Paul gasped.

"How's that possible!?"Dawn exclaimed.

"I think I know why... with Alexia asking Kirlia to calm down and clear her mind, Kirlia was able to sense where Chimchar would be coming from."Brock explained.

"Use Psybeam again!"Alexia yelled.

"Counter with Ember!"Paul ordered.

Once gain, both attacks collided, but this time Chimchar's ember was less powerful being exhausted from all the hit he had taken, which caused the Psybeam to overpowered the Ember attack, forcing Chimchar to dodge, but part of the ember manages to hit Kirlia, who takes it in stride. Chimchar was panting with exhaustion, which Alexia took notice of it and decided to end this.

"It's practically over, Chimchar is exhausted."Cedric said, many agree with him.

"Use Psybeam one last time!"Alexia yelled.

"Flame Wheel, let's go!"Paul called.

Both attack collided against each other, creating an explosion. Smoke filled the battleground... Everyone waited anxiously for the smoke to cleared to see who had won. The smoke began to cleared, allowing everyone to see who had won. Chimchar was on the ground, with swirls in his eyes, while Kirlia remained standing, but she was panting a little.

The Great Hall explodes in cheers at Alexia's victory, Harry being the loudest, Alexia looks at him for a moment and feels a strange sensation in her chest as she sees his proud smile.

"Poor chimchar... he tried his best."Luna said.

"Why's Kirlia exhaust she barely took damage?"Susan asked.

"Spamming all those Psybeams had an impact on her energy. After this battle, Kirlia and I worked on using less energy in her attacks, so that she wouldn't be too exhausted in case a future battle dragged on."Alexia replied.

"A-Alexia won?"Ash said, surprised.

"I suppose so."Dawn said.

Alexia was immediately by Kirlia side, giving her some medecine, as Goomy was excitedly bouncing around congratulating her new friend on her victory.

"Pathetic..."Paul click his tongue as he recalled Chimchar, and began to leave. "I'll be looking forward for our next meeting... See ya." He said before walking out of sight.

Many frowned at the way he treated Chimchar, when they thought he'd done well against Kirlia. They were surprised at him being cordial towards Alexia as they thought he would have made a snarky comments.

"Seems, like you gave him quite an impression..."Brock said.

"Seems so."Alexia nodded.

Dawn walked closer to Goomy and crouch to see it closer, but Goomy shyly hide behind Alexia.

"Hey, it's okay, they are friend."Alexia said, reassuringly.

"I have been meaning to ask but who's that Pokémon?"Dawn asked.

"Oh! That's Goomy my new Pokémon."Alexia smiled.

"What!? You already caught another Pokémon! While I still have not caught my first one..."Dawn said.

"She had the chance to catch her first one, but she ruined it when she started arguing with Ash."Katie pointed out.

"Hey, don't give up! You will get your first one soon."Alexia replied.

"Goomy?"Ash wondered, as he took out his Pokédex. Only for it to say...

"No Data."

"No data? What do you mean no data?"Ash asked.

Alexia turns toward Ash and smiled."Sorry, Ash. But you won't get any data on Goomy unless you have the National Pokédex function, because Goomy isn't from the Sinnoh region but from the Kalos region."

"National Pokédex function? What's that?"Hermione asked, curiously.

"It's a feature added to the Pokédex specially designed for any new region discovered, to enable the trainer to scan any new Pokémon from those regions they may encounter."Alexia explained.

"The Kalos region?"Ash asked.

"Yeah, it's a new region that just recently joined the League Association, so it's normal if you haven't heard of it yet."Alexia replied.

"Interesting... How do you know about Goomy then?"Brock asked.

"My dad is currently on a trip in the Kalos region, and had send me some books about the Pokémon you can find there. And before beginning my journey, I had requested for the National function for my Pokédex."Alexia explained, before taking her Pokédex so they can get Goomy entries dex.

"You have to requested it to get that function?"Cedric asked.

"Not exactly, since any Professor will already have added this feature to every new trainer's Pokédex, but for veteran trainers, they have to request it."Alexia explained.

"Goomy, the Soft Tissue Pokémon. Goomy hides away in the shade of trees, where it's nice and humid. Its source of protection is its slimy, germ-laden mucous membrane."

"Huh!? Why is Goomy a different color then the one show in the Pokédex?"Dawn asked, Alexia open her mouth to answered but Ash beat her to it.

"Oh! Goomy is a shiny Pokémon."Ash said, Alexia nodded.

"Shiny Pokémon...?"Dawn asked, confused.

"A shiny Pokémon are rare variants of Pokémon that are differently colored than other Pokémon of their species. Like you just saw with Goomy."Alexia explained.

"That's amazing, that you were able to find one!"Dawn gasped.

The gang left shortly afterwards and walked down the road to their next destination!

First off, sorry if the end felt rush, but I was having trouble thinking how I wanted it to end. Secondly, I was torn between Alexia capturing a Trapinch or a Goomy, but decided to go for Goomy instead, but that doesn't mean she might not get one.
