A Wonderful Journey

A.N:Enjoy the chapter.

The Sinnoh region, a breathtaking sight where you can see many different Pokémon, some can be seen soaring through the sky... thriving on the land... swimming in the waters and some can be seen associating with people.

The witches and wizards eyes widened at the sight and seeing multiple new Pokémon.

"How many Pokémon are there?"Hannah asked.

"Currently there's over 700, but there's still new region being discovered so there's might be even more Pokémon yet to be discover."Alexia said.

"Bloody hell!"

Some people would see Pokémon as pets... some would treat them as family or even friends. But many people consider them as partners to battle and train with... These people are called... Pokémon Trainers.

And now, we go to one of the Pokémon Trainers who is about to begin her journey... as that's a happily anticipated milestone in many children's lives.

The camera pan over, a large three-story house with a large outdoor ranch. That had enough room for all the Pokémon that lived there. The scene cut to Alexia still asleep in her bed, while on a smaller bed there was a Kirlia sleeping.

"Beep... Beep..."

The of the alarm clock going off woke her up, she immediately shut it off and let out a yawn as she sat on her bed and stretched.

"Good morning, Kirlia."She smiled down at her friend.

"Kir-Kirlia."Kirlia greeted back as she rubbed her eyes.

"Why does it look like Gardevoir?"

"Huh? Oh, that's because it's Gardevoir middle stage called Kirlia."Alexia said.

"Middle stage?"Hermione curiously asked.

Alexia nodded."Many Pokémon over time goes through a stage or stages known as Evolutions, for example Gardevoir here start off as Ralts."The screen suddenly show Ralts."Oh, this make things a bit easier, as I was saying that's Ralts which is what Gardevoir looked like when I first find her. As time went by and as she grew stronger she evolved into Kirlia, but Kirlia is special since it can evolved into two different Pokémon, first off is Gardevoir while the second can only happened if Kirlia is male and with the help of special stone called Dawn Stone, which is called Gallade."The screen show a Gallade, everyone were fascinated."Also some Pokémon doesn't have evolutions and others can only evolve when certain circumstances take place, or they find items that help them reach their final stage."

"That's fascinating."

Alexia got out of bed and headed off to the bathroom, after a nice shower, she walked out of the bathroom wearing her everyday outfit. She then goes back in her bedroom, she grabbed her backpack and doubled check making sure she had pack everything she would need for her journey.

There was a knock on the door.

"Alexia? Are you up yet, honey?"

"Yes, mom I'm up!"

"Okay, I just wanted to make sure you were up. Oh, and come down soon, your breakfast is ready."

"We'll be right there, mom!"

A few minutes later...

When Alexia and Kirlia come downstairs, the breakfast was all set on the table, as she saw her mom and dad sitting down at the table eating.

"Good morning, mom and dad."She greeted them as she walked toward the table with Kirlia in toe.

The Potters were sad when they heard their daughter calling someone else mom and dad, but now they have a chance to get her back and they won't wasted it.

"Good morning... Oh and you too Kirlia."They greeted back, Alexia start to eat, enjoying her mom cooking.

"Lexi, do you still have the postcard you've received from Professor Rowan? You know that you'll need that in order to receive your Pokédex, right?"

"What's a Pokédex?"Anthony asked.

Alexia took out her own showing it to them."This is a Pokédex! It's a device that help trainer by providing information regarding the various species of Pokémon, along with cataloging the various Pokémon they encounter."

When the witches and wizards saw the Pokédex working, they were shocked since it shouldn't be working around magic.

"Electronic shouldn't be working around magic even more so in Hogwart!"Dorcas exclaimed.

Alexia raised an eyebrow."But it is working."Proving them wrong as she showed them her working dex.

The muggleborn felt like they had been lie to, if that device can work wouldn't that mean other electronic device should work then?

Alexia swallow some of her toast, and start digging into her jacket pocket before taking the card out.

"Yup, right here! I would never forget this, I've been waiting for a long time for this day."She said, showing the postcard to her parent.

"What do you mean, you have been waiting for that day for a long time?"Cedric asked.

"That's because I can finally go on my journey, I could have gone when I become 10 but me and my best friend decide to put it on hold until we felt like we were ready, and because we wanted to continued studying so can be more prepare for it."Alexia explained.

"Wait! You can go on a journey at 10 years old!"

"Yes, you can start your own journey as soon you turned 10 but it's advisable to wait a few years before you start it."Alexia said, but everyone were still thinking of how irresponsible it was sending 10 years old on journey.

Her mother smiled softly at her, as they continued eating their breakfast.

"Kirlia is going to be your starter right?"Her father asked.

"That's right!"

"Kir!"Kirlia nodded.

Her father chuckled."I remember when I started out... I'd trouble deciding who I wanted to pick as a starter... That is, until I met Swampert back when he was a mudkip."

Her mother snorted."You didn't choose him, it was him that choose you. I still remember little Mudkip walking up to you while you were deep in thought, and then he send a Water Gun at your face."

Everyone laughed, they might not know what a Mudkip is but it sound so funny.

Alexia and her mother laughed as her father smiled sheepishly.

A few minutes later...

Alexia put Kirlia in the basket of her bike, before looking back at her parents who were on the porch, smiling softly at their only daughter.

Alexia chuckled."Look at how small you were back then."Gardevoir huffed at being teased by her trainer.

"Well then... I better get going. I'll call you soon... Okay?"Alexia said.

"Alright, just be careful down on the road, okay?"

"I will!"Alexia said, getting on her bike.

"And Kirlia take care of our daughter!"

Kirlia looked back and nodded, as her parents watch their daughter making her way down the road.

Meanwhile...

At the same time when Alexia woke up, another young trainer was about to begin her own journey, that beginning trainer is a young girl named Dawn, who is another resident of Twinleaf Town.

"Dawn, are you up?"

"Who's Dawn?"

"She's my best friend and someone who I had promised to go on a journey together."Alexia said.

"I am so up!"Dawn assured as she was brushing her air. At the response, Dawn's mother, Johanna, came into the room with a calm and kind expression on her face.

"Morning, dear!"

"Good morning, mom."Dawn greeted her mother, who walked over with her partner, Glameow, by her side.

"I had a feeling you'd wake up early today."Johanna smiled at her daughter.

"Mom, I'm 14 years old."Dawn assured her before kneeing down to where Glameow was.

"Morning, Glameow!"She greeted it, only to get a small meow before Glameow walked by her and jumped on her bed to take a small nap.

Everyone chuckled.

"It act just like a cat, you greet them only for them to ignored you."

It didn't take long for the mother and daughter to be down for breakfast where they enjoyed a small meal together, with Johanna handing her daughter a cup of tea.

"I hope you finished packing."Johanna reminded her, earning a smile from her daughter.

"Mm hm! Did it all yesterday!"Dawn assured her.

"And just in case you forgot, did you pack that postcard from Prof. Rowan? You won't be able to get your Pokémon without it, or your Pokédex."Johanna said as a reminder.

"So only those that have that postcard can get a Pokémon and Pokédex?"Seamus asked.

"Not exactly, you still can get a Pokémon and Pokédex from the Professor. But the postcard means you're sponsored by Professor Rowan, so you get to choose your starting Pokémon from three different choices. And you don't have to go to the Professor to get your first Pokémon since some Pokémon Center does give out Pokémon to new trainer."Alexia explained.

"So you have the chance to pick a starter even though you already a Pokémon?"

"Yes, but since I had already decide that Kirlia will be my starter I decide that I will let someone else have the chance of picking a starter, so when I go to Prof. Rowan labs I will only get my Pokéballs and Pokédex."Alexia said.

"What's a Pokémon Center?"Neville asked.

"It's a place where you can healed your Pokémon, alot of trainer use Pokémon Centers as gathering places, so they can share information about Pokémon. And most offer free food and lodging."Alexia explained.

"I know, mom.""Dawn chuckled before taking out the same postcard that Alexia had with her.

"See? I'd never forget this!"

"Good. So, have you decide which of those three Pokémon you're going to pick?"

A sheepish smile formed on Dawn's face as she looked at the three Pokémon that were on the postcard.

"Not yet, they're all so cute! Thing is, I'm sure that any of them would make an awesome partner! I've gotta be smart, though. I wanna be a Top Coordinator like you, mom!"

"What's a Coordinator?"Susan asked.

"A Coordinator is someone that compete in Contest which are more concentrate on the appeal of a Pokémon."Alexia said.

"That sound amazing."Lavender said, interested by those Contest.

Dawn turned to the fireplace where you could see pictures and trophies that showed Johanna being a Top Coordinator with Glameow by her side.

"Then first off, you have to become a great Pokémon trainer, and a breeder too. Please remember, dear, all winning Coordinators first started out as Pokémon Trainers."Johanna said.

"You're right, mom. That's just what I'll do!"Dawn declared confidently before she looked up, as if she was imagining what her partner would be like.

Dawn's Imagination

"And now for our next Coordinator! Making her debut, it's Dawn from Twinleaf Town!"

Everyone were taken aback, even Alexia was perplexed at what she was seeing.

With her contest outfit on, Dawn took out a Pokéball to reveal the first Pokémon that would help her with the competition.

"Alright, Chimchar... Spotlight!"

The Pokéball spun to reveal the Chimp Pokémon, who seemed eager to show what it was made of!

"Now, use Flame Wheel!"

Without wasting another second, Chimchar surrounded itself with flames before it spun in the air! Then, after cancelling it out, it revealed just how fiery its spirit was!

Everyone gasped.

"They can use magic!"

"It's not exactly magic, but they can learn move of their type and other type as well."Alexia said, if some of the pureblood weren't interested before now they were.

"Type? What do you mean by that?"Theodore asked.

"A Pokémon have a power specific to their typing, there are eighteen known types. There's Water, Fire, Electric, Grass, Normal, Fighting, Flying, Poison, Ground, Psychic, Ice, Bug, Rock, Dragon, Dark, Steel, Fairy and Ghost! Each type has an advantage over one another in battle, that's known as type advantage. For example, Flaaffy here is an Electric type while Chikorita is a Grass type and lastly Gardevoir is a Psychic and Fairy Type. My job as a trainer is to help them overcome their weakness and help them find ways to counter their weaknesses."Alexia explained.

"Wait, Gardevoir has two type?"

Alexia nodded."Yes, some Pokémon can have two typing. Which can come in handy, with type advantage and weaknesses."

"What's the difference between Rock and Ground? Shouldn't they be catalog as the same type?"

"True, the difference is that Rock is stone based while Ground is more about earth."Alexia answered

The crowd in the audience cheered for Dawn and Chimchar, bringing a smile to the young Coordinator's face.

"And an astounding Flame Wheel from Chimchar!"

Reality

"There. What'd you think of that, mom?"Dawn asked, as her imagination her act with her body as well, bringing a sheepish smile to her mother's face.

"Top Coordinators need to eat breakfast, too."She reminded her daughter, only for Dawn to daydream again.

"Or Piplup's a water Type Pokémon..."Dawn said to herself before closing her eyes.

Dawn's Imagination

"Piplup... Spotlight!"Dawn in a green kimono called out, as she threw her Pokéball to reveal Piplup, who came out of the Pokéball, with the same eagerness as Chimchar had.

"Your friend has a vivid imagination."Tracey said.

"Bubble beam, go!"

Piplup didn't waste any time shooting the Water type attack in the air, causing them all to pop and bring sprinkling rain to sparkle down, amazing the crowd.

"Wow! Now that's a definition of the perfect Bubble Beam!"

"So those are example of Contest?"Daphne asked, interested by those Contest.

"Kinda, there's more to it but it does show an idea how Contest go."Alexia said.

Reality

"Can't this wait until after we eat?"Johanna sweat dropped, seeing how much her daughter was daydreaming.

"Or Turtwig, a Grass type."Dawn continued.

Dawn's Imagination

"Go, Turtwig!"Dawn called out while in a magician outfit. Once again, the Pokéball spun in the air before opening up to reveal the Tiny Leaf Pokémon.

"Use Razor Leaf!"Dawn exclaimed, throwing a few pink balls into the air, which Turtwig wasted no time, using his Grass type attack to cut the balls in halves.

As they came raining down, Dawn spun with Turtwig, eventually ending the imagination in her mind.

Reality

"Whaddaya think?"Dawn said as she spun around before making a small bow to conclude her imaginative performance, bringing an amused smile to her mother.

"I think, if you keep messing around, you won't have time to get any Pokémon."Johanna said, causing her daughter to perk up in realization.

"Oh... you're right, sorry, mom!"Dawn smiled sheepishly as she ran back to the dining table to continue eating her breakfast.

Alexia shakes her head at her best friend, knowing how easy she can get distracted.

A few minutes later...

Johanna walked out the to see the blue sky and the clouds.

"What a day! Perfect for starting a journey, so Dawn, are you ready?"She called to her daughter, only to get surprised to see a pink suitcase rolling out.

"Oh yeah!"

"What's all that?"Johanna asked.

"It's just all my stuff! It's not like I packed things I don't need!"Dawn said, this didn't help Johanna as she knew her daughter. To that in mind, she opened up the suitcase to see...

"It's all clothes."She pointed out, seeing the number of clothing there was, not only that, but there wasn't a hint of any Pokémon supplies that she'd probably need for her partner.

Everyone snorted.

"She remind me of Lavender."

"Hey!"

"That and some jewelry and some makeup."Dawn added, the mother took out one of the clothes before sighing as she looked up to her daughter with a concerned expression.

"Do you know what your journey is for?"Johanna asked her, only to get a bright nod from her daughter.

"To become a Pokémon trainer, right?"

"Exactly!"Johanna sat up before she took out a small, yellow backpack."Which means this is plenty!"She said, bewildering the daughter.

"Is it? That backpack seems a little small."Dean said.

"It may look small but it does held the essentials you would need on a journey."

"Aww, that's it?"

"If you want to become a top coordinator and a smart traveler, then trust me."Johanna said, Dawn sigh.

"Okay, mom."Dawn said as she accepted the backpack.

"And one more thing."Johanna said, taking out what seemed to be a worn out Contest Ribbon.

"Huh? Mom, what's this?"Dawn asked, taking the ribbon out of her hand.

"That's the first Championship ribbon I ever won in a Contest. I always carried it as a good luck charm. Now, if you will, I'd like you to carry it, too!"Johanna smiled at her.

"You win ribbon in Contest?"Lavender asked.

Alexia nodded."Yup and after winning 5 Ribbons of a specific region that person are able to enter that region's Grand Festival. However after using them to enter they cannot be used again."

"Grand Festival?"

"It's a competition between Coordinator that is held once every year in several region. The winner of the Grand Festival earn the Ribbon Cup and become Top Coordinators."Alexia explained further.

"It sound amazing."Lavender said, some nodded in agreement, including Susan and Daphne.

"Really?"

"As long you don't lose it."Johanna chuckled.

"Wow, thanks, mom!"Dawn smiled.

"Hey, Dawn!"

A familiar voice caught their attention as they turned to see... Alexia coming over on her bike along with Kirlia sitting in the basket.

"Lexi! Good morning!"Dawn called out to her best friend, as she gave a small wave to her.

"Good morning, Ms. Johanna."Alexia greeted.

"Good morning, Alexia. Thank you letting Dawn come with you on your journey."Johanna said.

Alexia waved it off."It's nothing, we had already promised that we would go on a journey together."

Alexia smiled softly, she missed her best friend and wondered how she's doing in Kanto.

Dawn run down and reach her bike as they started to ride off.

"Prof. Rowan's lab is just outside of Sandgem Town, do you know how to get there?"Johanna called out.

"Don't worry about us! See, we've got this map right here!"Dawn called out, taking out the postcard.

Alexia sighed knowing that it didn't help since they got lost, if only Dawn had let her take the lead instead.

"Off we go!"Dawn said, as she take the initiative to go on ahead.

"Now do you best and take care of each other, okay?"Johanna called them out.

"No need to worry, mom!"Dawn cried out, waving to her mother, but at that moment, her bike hit a pebble, causing her to shriek and wobble around.

Some couldn't but snorted at that.

"Oh no!"Johanna gasped, Kirlia immediately use her Confusion to stabilize Dawn's bike.

"T-Thank you Kirlia."Dawn said, earning a nod from Kirlia.

"What were you saying? No need to worry?"Alexia teased her best friend.

"Oh quiet!"Dawn huffed as they continued to ride together.

Everyone chuckled.

It wasn't for them to passed by a sign that told them where Sandgem Town was, as they were currently on Route 201, as they rode along, we could hear chirping from above as a flock of wild Chatot flew in the air, passing above them.

"There it is, Sandgem Town."Alexia pointed out, they rode together to look around the two.

"And here we are!"

"Huh!?"Alexia blinked, looking up before skidding to a stop to see Dawn stopping at a building that had a big clock. Backing away and going to where she had stop. Alexia take a look back at her postcard.

Everyone frowned, it doesn't like a lab and wouldn't it be bigger then that?

"This doesn't seem right, Dawn."Alexia, pointed out, Kirlia nodded agreeing with her trainer.

"Don't worry about it! I'd know Prof. Rowan's lab anywhere!"Dawn declared confidently before she rushed over to the building's door. Alexia sighed...

"I'm here! For my Pokémon!"

"You came to the right place, kid!"

"Huh?"

Everyone laughed.

"She mistake a restaurant with a lab."Dean chuckled.

Alexia shakes her head knowing that this wasn't Prof. Rowan's laboratory... but the restaurant that was in Sandgem town.

Blushing at the mistake she made, Dawn excused herself and closed the before she went over to where her bike and Alexia was. She glared at the smirked her best friend had.

"Don't... say it..."Dawn said, Alexia raise her hands in surrender. "Oh man! Me and my great directions!" She moaned to herself before she began to speed things up.

"Woah! Slow down!"Alexia called, only to stop when she saw Dawn made a right at an intersection, she looked down at Kirlia."Something tells me Kirlia, that is going to take a while before we get there."

"Kir-Kirlia."

"Does all Pokémon speak using their name?"

"Yes, but there's some that can talk telepathically for example Gardevoir here can..."Alexia said, but paused remembering Team Rocket Meowth that could talk...

"Really?"Tonks asked, only to jumped when she heard a feminine voice that said 'Hello' in her head. She glared at Gardevoir for spooking her as Gardevoir giggles.

Later...

"Let's see, make a right and then a left or a left and then a right? Maybe it's upside down."Dawn frowned.

"I told you, you should have let me take the lead."

"I'm not that bad."Dawn whined, Alexia raised an eyebrow. But sadly she wasn't looking where she was going and bumped into someone, causing a yelp to escape from her mouth as they both stopped to see, a stern looking man right in front of them.

"I'm so sorry!"Dawn gasped.

"Hello... you seems a little lost."The man said, catching their attention.

The adults narrowed their eyes at the man.

"Huh? Are you talking to us, sir?"Dawn asked him.

"There's no one else here, and you two are looking very lost."The man said bluntly, causing Dawn to cringe.

"Yeah, but we'll be fine."Dawn said, as the man raised an eyebrow.

"Perhaps, but you don't look fine right now."The man said, Dawn sigh.

"Yeah, I guess so."

Alexia tilted her head."Are you Professor Rowan?"

"How do you know that?"Remus asked.

"Because he's an important public figure and the night before I had read an article about him and it had his picture on it."Alexia said.

"Indeed, you two must be new trainers, since the two of you have that postcard. Why don't you come with me to my lab and get your starter and your Pokédex."

"I guess, we could."Dawn said, still surprised by the fact the man they were speaking was the Professor himself.

And with that, the rest of the trip to the laboratory went pretty easy thanks to the Professor accompanying them there.

Meanwhile, at the laboratory...

"And to think we were worried they weren't going to like it. Now I guess we're going to have to worry if we've got enough of this stuff on hand, right?"The first assistant named Yuzo chuckled.

It was at the Laboratory that Professor Rowan was in charge with that the lab assistants were watching the three starters along with a Eevee, Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup all eating their Pokémon food like it was the end of the world.

"Aww, they are all cute!"Ginny exclaimed.

"That little fox is so cute."Tracey cooed looking at Eevee.

"Well, I guess they're as hungry as they are cute."The second assistant chuckled at the sight. Just then, they could hear doors opening up, as they turned to see two more assistants coming in with a Staraptor and a Starly on a wheeled stretcher.

"Woah! That's one badass looking bird."Dean said, looking at Staraptor.

"What're you doing with those two?"Yuzo asked them.

"I thought it might be good time to examine them before Prof. Rowan comes back."The third assistant explained.

"Good idea."He said before turning his to where Starly was.

"I'm a big fan of Starly, as it was the very first Pokémon I caught on my journey!"Yuzo said, smiling like he thought back to when he first became a Pokémon trainer.

"Yeah, mine was a Bidoof."The second assistant said.

"Bidoof, huh? My sister's first Pokémon was a Bidoof."

While the assistants weren't looking, that was when the chaos started to begin as Eevee had already finished its bowl of food, and upon noticing Piplup having very few left... Eevee snatched the last of Piplup food and ate it all up, much to Piplup's horror as it glared at the normal type, showing how upset it was from having the last of its food stolen.

Alexia and Gardevoir sighed, Eevee could be such a troublemaker sometime.

"Piplup, Pip, Pip, Pip, Piplup!"

However, Eevee didn't seem to care only to giggled and blow a raspberry at Piplup, which was the last straw fro the Piplup as it began to angrily throw a tantrum, catching Yuzo and the other assistants' attention.

"Huh? What's wrong?"Yuzo asked.

But instead of turning to him, Piplup angrily launched a Bubble Beam at Eevee, who jumped out of the way, this went on as Eevee easily dodged Piplup attack thanks to its speed. Angry that its food was stolen and seeing its attacks were missing, Piplup began to throw an even bigger tantrum, forcing Yuzo to grab into it.

"At least they were able to catch the Piplup before it become worst."Padma sighed.

"Piplup, cut it out! Stop acting like a spoiled child!"

But instead of making it better, it seemed to have gotten worse as Piplup continued to launch Bubble Beam, as Eevee keep dodging. Eevee jumped off of Turtwig and landed on the stretcher were Starly and Staraptor were. That's when it turned into chaos as Piplup launch Bubble Beam once more. And unfortunately, the two Flying types took a direct hit the second Eevee dodged, it was enough to anger the two Flying type as they flew up with angry expressions.

Everyone gasped at how chaotic it had become.

"This is so chaotic."

"I love how Turtwig and Chimchar just doesn't seem to care about what's happening around them."Fred said.

"Eevee and Piplup, stop it this instant! Staraptor, calm down."Yuzo yelled.

But his demand was ignored as the evolved Flying type began to unleash Whirlwind, causing papers and equipment to fly all over the Laboratory, much to the assistants' horrors.

"Staraptor! What's that for!?"Yuzo exclaimed before the windows shattered!

Stunned to see most of their lab in ruins, Piplup was able to use the opportunity to free itself from Yuzo's arms as it continued to go after Eevee, who mocked it again.

"Vee!"

"Piplup!"Piplup snapped as it jumped out of the window after its fellow Pokémon with the same going for Starly and Staraptor as they flew out of the lab.

There were gasped around the Great Hall at seeing the Pokémon escaping.

"Oh no! This is bad."Neville gasped.

By the time the four Pokémon are gone with only Turtwig and Chimchar remaining behind, the assistants were all horrified for what just happened.

"Just perfect! Prof. Rowan's away, and new Trainers are coming... and now this! We've got work to do!"Yuzo called to the other assistants, which they all responded to with. "Right!"

"They don't have enough time to go searching for them since they are coming soon."Hermione said.

But before they could get far and go after the missing Pokémon... The laboratory entrance opened up to reveal Prof Rowan along with Alexia and Dawn.

"He's back!"Yuzo and the second assistant exclaimed in horror, earning a raised brow from the Professor.

"Yes, this is my laboratory, isn't it?"He asked his assistants.

"Professor, of course it is!"The four all exclaimed in unison.

"Oh dear."Dawn eyes widened upon seeing the damage that was done inside the lab.

"What happened here?"Alexia asked surprise, seeing the papers scattered all over, the windows were shattered and there were broken in some, plus some of the equipment were done too.

Prof. Rowan just narrowed his eyes as he walked over to the inside of his lab, with Dawn and Alexia in toe. As they walked, the assistant tripe to explained himself for what had happened.

"Sir, I'm so sorry about this. We had slight problem when Eevee and Piplup ran into the forest. On top of that, while conducting my Evolution research, Starly and Staraptor got out as well. Fortunately, we still have Turtwig and Chimchar."

"They had a slight problem is putting it mildly."

"Wait, Eevee? But I thought there's only was three Pokémon for new trainer?"Alexia asked.

"Ah, you are right. Eevee is a wild Pokémon that we had been taking care of until she's ready to go back in the wild."The second assistant said.

Alexia nodded as she glanced around the room, seeing Turtwig and Chimchar still eating their bowl of food... like nothing bad has happened while they were enjoying their meal. Alexia looked down frowning, as Kirlia titled her head at her trainer wondering what was she thinking about.

"Professor? Would it be alright if we go look for them?"Alexia asked, catching his attention.

"Right. I want to go look for them, too!"Dawn agreeing with her best friend.

"That's really generous of you two."Pomona said.

"Thanks, we're always willing to help out if we can."Alexia said, Andromeda smiled at her niece, wishing she could have done more to her.

"You would?"Prof. Rowan asked.

"Yes!"They both looked at the Professor, showing him just how serious they were.

"Hmm."He hummed with a nod."Well, just remember. If you find them, you need to crouch down so you can talk to them at eye level, you should be able to calm them down."

"Right, we'll do that. And if we encounter any trouble Kirlia will help us."Alexia said, as Kirlia nodded affirmatively.

Alexia and Gardevoir sighed, knowing they did encounter trouble.

"Good, I wish you three good luck."Prof. Rowan smiled at them.

"Thank you!"They exclaimed together, then without another second to wasted, they dashed out of the laboratory together to find the missing Pokémon.

Later...

"Wow, that Prof. Rowan's a really nice guy, much nicer than I thought."Dawn said, as they made their way from the lab and into the forest so that they could find the missing Pokémon

"Dawn, stay vigilant."Alexia remind her best friend.

Moody smiled, seeing the girl being vigilant of her surrounding.

"Right."

They rushed into the forest before taking a look around, spotting different wild Pokémon that ran or flew from them. As they get closer to another part of the rest, they saw a familiar face coming out looking around.

"It's Eevee!"Dawn exclaimed, before another familiar face popped out.

"Piplup!"Alexia exclaimed, before watching the angry Piplup launch a Bubble Beam attack towards Eevee, who dodge with a Quick Attack.

"Stop that, Piplup!"Dawn exclaimed, only for Piplup to turn toward them.

"Look out!"Alexia exclaimed, as they jumped out of the way when Piplup attack them this time with its attack.

"That's not nice!"Dawn protested, before they looked up to see Piplup making chase after Eevee.

"Hey, you two, wait up!"Alexia called out as they rushed after them. But while they ran as fast as they could, it didn't take long for them to lose them as they looked around.

"Eeevee! Piplup! Where are you two!?"Alexia called out, hoping she could at least get a sign, that was until...

"VEE!"

"PIPLUP!"

They were alarmed from the distressed cries that came from the direction ahead of them.

"Is that them?"Dawn asked.

To answer their questions, they ran over to see, the two of them trapped in what seemed to be a web. And it's not just them, as there were other forest Pokémon that were trapped in there, too.

Everyone gasped at the sight, Ron shuddered seeing the web.

"Eevee and Piplup and all those other Pokémon."Alexia eyes widened, before Dawn stepped up, she looked like she wanted to help but...

"Ah! Get back!"Alexia yelled, pulling her back just in time for an attack to miss right in front of her. Alarmed from the sudden ambush, they looked up to see a wild Ariados coming down from its hiding spot.

"Gah! Spider!"Ron screamed.

"Is he okay?"Alexia asked.

"Don't worry he's just afraid of spider."Ginny waved it off.

"Ah."

"Ariados, leave them alone!"Dawn demanded.

But the Bug-Poison type didn't seem too adamant on listening to them as it fired more attacks at them! Three of them were forced to dodge out of the way.

"Piplup..."

"Vee..."

"It's gonna be okay, you two. You'll be free before you know it."Alexia smiled reassuringly before narrowing her eyes at Ariados.

"Kirlia, Confusion!"

"Kir!"Kirlia nodded, her eyes glow purple as Ariados body outlined in purples for a moment before it was knocked back into a tree, disorienting it, taking the opportunity.

"Flaa! Flaaffy!"Flaaffy cheered for her friends, Alexia smiled and rubbed Flaaffy head.

"Now, Magical Leaf on the web!"

Right on command, Kirlia jumped into the air and spun around, her eyes flash a light green for a second, releasing glowing green leafs at the web, the impact of the attack destroyed the web, freeing the wild Pokémon and sending the Piplup and Eevee flying a little, as they wailed in distress, as Alexia and Dawn rush over and catch. Dawn was able to catch Piplup in her arms while Alexia caught Eevee in hers.

Everyone were impressed how calm she was and how quick she thought of a plan.

"Woah! That was amazing!"Students cheered.

"Great thinking there."

"Thanks."Alexia smiled.

"We gotcha!"Dawn called out, only to get a bit of protest and struggle from Piplup.

"Piplup! Pip! Piplup!"Piplup protested angrily.

"I'm sorry you got scared, but at least you're safe-"

The moment she said that , she let out a scream, alarming Alexia as she turned around to watch her and Piplup slip and slide down on a hill before they landed on some of the bushes.

"Dawn!"Alexia called out, before sliding down to check on her. "You okay?"

"Y-yeah, but, me and my big fat mouth."She groaned.

"Gotta be careful what you say, or it might end up jinxing you."

Some chuckled at that.

"Right..."Dawn sighed, before they moved to a clearing where there didn't seem to be any wild Pokémon around.

"Hey, sorry that you got scared there, I'm Alexia and that's Kirlia my partner."Alexia introduced herself as Kirlia give a small bow. Eevee blinked at them.

Tilting its head."Eevee?"

The girls squealed."So cute!"

"I want one."Ginny said, Molly frowned concerned that her daughter want one of those dangerous creature.

"I just couldn't leave you and the other Pokémon be, as who knows what could've happened to you all."Alexia said with a soft smiled.

"Vee."Eevee looked down.

"Hey, it's okay."Alexia assured, before caressing Eeevee head with a soft smile.

Harry frowned feeling a bit jealous of his twin, she seem so happy. Sometimes he wishes he wasn't famous and had a normal life.

"Eevee."Eevee purred happily.

But while Alexia and Eevee seemed to be getting along...

"Ow, ow, ow, ow ,OW!"

They turned to see Piplup being upset as he was glaring at Dawn with an angry expression.

Everyone chuckled at the contrast between them.

"Hey! Remember you were the one chasing Eevee, but you're the one who got caught! So if I were you, I'd be pretty embarrassed right now."Dawn scolded him. That only made Piplup even more angrier as he began to throw what seemed to be a temper tantrum, annoyed with how blunt her words were.

"Hey, I know the truth hurt, but come on!"Dawn groaned, only to get a huff from Piplup.

"Speaking of, why were you two having problems in the first place?"Alexia asked, earning a sheepish grin from Eevee.

"Did you do something to set Piplup off, little lady?"Alexia raised an eyebrow at Eevee, only for her to turned her head to the side not meeting her eyes. And it was at that moment when there was a growling stomach... Coming from Piplup himself, who blushed from how loud the growling was. Alexia hummed as she start to pierce together what had happened.

"He has to be quite hungry chasing Eevee like that while using alot of energy."Harry said.

"Aha! Now I see why you're such grumpy, you're really hungry, right?"Dawn asked with a smug look, earning an annoyed expression from Piplup.

"Yup, I knew it! I can read you like a book!"Dawn giggled, getting an embarrassed look from Piplup this time.

Alexia shakes her head before putting Eevee down, as she took out a can of Pokémon food, she shakes a few out, as she offered some to Eevee, who looked up at her surprise. Eevee looked a little hesitant at first before taking her first bite.

"Vee..."

"I'm glad, you like it."Alexia smiled.

"Here! Pokémon food!"

"Are the food specific for Pokémon?"Theodore asked.

"Yes, the one we are giving them are generic one but there's some that are specific to a type."Alexia answered.

Alexia turned to see Dawn doing the same thing for Piplup, but unlike how Eevee reacted...

"Pip!"

Piplup rejected the food immediately, much to Dawn surprise.

"Say what? Whaddaya mean, no? I think you've got an attitude problem!"Dawn huffed, Piplup responded by sticking his tongue out a her.

"They say Piplup tend to be stubborn and want to handle things themselves."Alexia commented, remembering of her studied.

"Come on..."Dawn pouted, Alexia chuckled until they heard rustling coming from the trees, they turned...

"AHHHH!"

"PIIIIIP!"

"VEEEEE!"

They all screamed in fright from the sudden appearance of Ariados and it wasn't just one, but an entire group of them!

Everyone gasped at seeing an entire group of Ariados, Ron was deadly paled seeing all those spider.

"What!? But I thought you had deal with the previous one!"Pavarti exclaimed.

Alexia shakes her head."No, I had only disoriented it."

Look like the Ariados they had dealt with called its friend. Just before they could try to run, the Ariados group launched their Poison Sting attack.

"Kirlia, Magical Leaf counter those Poison Sting!"

"Kir!"Her eyes flash a light green for a second, releasing glowing green leafs at the incoming Poison Sting, she starting to get overwhelmed before star joined the counterattack, as Eevee used Swift to help! But then the moment they looked up, they gaped and shrieked in fright as the numbers grow.

Everyone eyes widened seeing the number had grow, as the Potters and their friends start to scared for their daughter safety.

"You guys have to get out of there!"

"Guys? We have to move... NOW!"Alexia exclaimed, knowing they are outnumbered.

"L-Let's go!"Dawn agreed as they began to run, but was they tried to escape, the Ariados group launched their String Shot attacks, blocking one path, as they were forced to run to another, however the moment they turned, that path was blocked too, leaving them trapped.

"Oh shit! This got worst."

"Great..."Alexia groaned as they turned to see the Ariados group coming at them with irritated expressions on their faces.

"They're mad at us... We might had destroyed Ariados' nest."Dawn gasped.

"That explains everything, not to mention the prisoners we free."Alexia said, before more Poison Sting were shot their way. They continued struggling to dodge each attack coming at them, before Dawn's can of Pokémon food fell out of her bag.

"Ah... I know! We'll use the Pokémon food to distract them, once they're distracted, Kirlia, Eevee and Piplup can use their attacks to smash the web."Dawn said.

Everyone were tensed hoping they will be able to get away.

"That's a good plan."Charlie said.

"Good call, are you ready, you three?"Alexia asked, earning affirmative nods from them.

"Okay... Come and get it!"Dawn shouted out, throwing some Pokémon food in the air, seeing them flung up, all of them launched their String Shot to catch it and eat it.

"Do it now!"Alexia yelled, having them launching their attack, the attacks destroyed the web, giving them enough room to make their escape.

"We're out!"Dawn smiled as she carried Piplup while Alexia carried Kirlia with Eevee running along side her. But as they ran... they were almost out when Dawn shriek as Alexia turned around to see her leg caught by one of the String Shot, forcing her to fall.

"Dawn!"Alexia called out, before seeing the Ariados group get in close. She put Kirlia down before rushing over to try and help her up.

"Lexi, get them out of here, I'll be fine."Dawn tried to tell Alexia.

"I'm not leaving my best friend here! Get up!"Alexia exclaimed, holding her arms as she trip to help her friend to get up.

Even with the tensed atmosphere, the Hufflepuff couldn't help but smiled at how loyal she was to her friends.

"She would make a good Hufflepuff."One couldn't help but commented, while some scoffed.

"Hurry."

But the moment she said that, their heads looked up in alarm to see the Ariados group coming closer before they all shot their attack at them.

"Hit the deck!"Alexia yelled, as she throw her body over her friend to protect her as Dawn screamed in fright. They opened their eyes in confusion as they didn't felt any attack.

"What?" They turned to see... Piplup taking the hits for them, not only that but Kirlia and Eevee were using Swift and Magical Leaf to counter the other attacks that were meant for them.

"I can always count on you having my back."Alexia smiled.

'Of course'Gardevoir nodded.

"Is that... a move?"Dawn asked.

"Yeah, that's Bide and Swift!"Alexia said recognizing them before Piplup let out a loud cry, unleashing the energy that he's been storing using the move. The move unleashed a large blast, knocking the entire Ariados group away and sending them flying.

Everyone gasped at how powerful the little penguin attack was.

"Woah!"

"Holy shit! That little guy pack a punch!"

"Whoa..."

"Bide gave back twice the damage that they gave us! Bide's one of the coolest moves I've ever seen."Dawn said in awe, Alexia nodded, before they looked to see their friends panting from what just occurred.

"Piplup, thanks you so much!"Dawn said gratefully, but the moment she said her thanks, Piplup fell backwards, causing her to catch it before he fell.

"Oh, Piplup."Dawn said, before embracing him.

"He must've taken a lot of damage from those attacks, not to mention the strain that Bide can give."Alexia said, as she felt Eevee climbing up to her head.

"How are you both?"Alexia asked, Eevee give her a weak cry as Kirlia nodded not as exhausted as Eevee."Get some rest, you deserve it."She said, scratching behind Eevee's ear. Before turning to her best friend.

"They do deserve some rest, after what just happened."Hannah said.

"How come Kirlia doesn't seem to be exhausted as Eevee is?"

"Because she has more experience then Eevee and she's been training for years now, so she wasn't using as much energy when attacking as Eevee was."Alexia explained.

"Come on, let's head back. There's no telling when they will come back."Alexia said, as she help her up.

"Okay."Dawn nodded, as they started to make their way out of the forest and find a way back to the lab.

Later...

It was just few minutes later that they found themselves where a lake was, a lake that the two of them recognized.

"Check it out, Lake Verity."Alexia said, making Eevee and Piplup to take a look, as they were taking on the sight, another growling sound was heard. Piplup looked embarrassed with how loud it was, a chuckled escaped from the girls before Dawn took out her can of Pokémon food. Thought, there was hardly any left.

Some chuckled too at that and how embarrassed Piplup look.

"Uh oh, that's all that's left. We used all the rest for bait."Dawn said, but to Piplup, it didn't seem to matter to him as he scooped up the food from Dawn's hands and ate it all up, looking rather satisfied with how it tasted.

"Well, I guess you two can put the grudge behind, then."Alexia said.

"Staraptor!"

A cry caught their attention as they looked up to see, Starly and Staraptor flying together.

"They must be from Prof. Rowan's lab, too."Alexia hummed.

"That means they're all okay, let's get back to the lab."Dawn said.

"Sounds good."Alexia agreed, as their new friends let out cries of agreement.

But just before they could leave, a breeze blew into them, startling them as they turned to where the lake was... their eyes widened as they could see something, a form of a Pokémon? It was floating around before it lout a small cry. It didn't take long for the Pokémon to vanish as it disappeared out of sight.

Everyone gasped.

"What was that!"

"Was that a ghost?"

"What was that? A Pokémon?"Dawn asked.

"Most likely, it was the guardian of Lake Verity."Alexia said.

"The guardian?"Dawn turned to her best friend.

"Did you forget what we learn in class? Lake Verity is known to have a mysterious Pokémon watching over the lake, what we just saw might have been the same mysterious Pokémon."Alexia explained.

Eyes widened at that.

"Damn you had to be so lucky to had seen if it was the guardian."Blaise said.

"No way..."Dawn eyes widened, as they looked back to where the Pokémon had disappeared off to.

Later...

It wasn't long before they returned to Prof. Rowan's lab, where they explained to the Professor what they experienced and what they saw back at Lake Verity.

"Hmm... There have been stories of a Legendary Pokémon living in Lake Verity for a long time now, as Alexia said it has, that might have been the Pokémon you two saw..."

Everyone were intrigued by those stories as they seems really interesting.

Meanwhile Alexia walked up to one of the assistant.

"How's Eevee doing?"

The assistant turned around."Oh Eevee is alright, she's currently resting."

Alexia sighed in relief.

Students sighed, relief that Eevee was fine.

"You both had quite a day! Perhaps not as expected, but your journey has begun."

Alexia turned toward the Professor.

"So now, it's time to give you your Pokéballs and your Pokédex as well."

With that said, the two assistants brought over two trays that had the materials that they needed, Dawn's Pokédex was pink while Alexia was purple. And next to each of them were five Pokéballs.

"You see, this Pokédex will provide you with information about the various Pokémon you're sure to encounter, and there are your Pokéballs very useful items for carrying your Pokémon around it."Prof. Rowan explained. Then, he turned to the three Pokémon that were standing on the table.

"Now it's time for you Dawn to choose your Pokémon, these are the three available to first-time Trainers in the Sinnoh region."He started before turning to Chimchar first.

"The Fire type, Chimchar."

"Chimchar!"Chimchar said in an excited manner.

"The Water type, Piplup."

"Piplup."Piplup said in a confident manner.

"And the Grass type, Turtwig."

"Turtwig..."Turtwig said in a calm manner.

"So, do you know which one you'd like?"Prof. Rowan asked.

"Yes, sir. I do! Piplup!"Dawn smiled at Piplup, as Turtwig and Chimchar seemed a little down.

"Poor little guy."Ginny smiled sadly, at how disappointed Turtwig and Chimchar seems.

"Hey, don't worry you two. I'm sure that when someone else came in, you will find a partner who's just right for you."Alexia said, rubbing their heads. That seemed to have made them both to feel better.

"Good! Then, here you'll need its Pokéball." said, before handing Dawn her new partner' Pokéball.

"Thank you!"Dawn thanked him.

They walked out of the lab as they made their way to their bikes, with the Professor and his assistants coming out to wish them luck.

Everyone were surprise that Alexia didn't take Eevee with her seeing at how quickly the two bond witch each other.

"One thing's for sure, anything can happen. So anytime you two need help, just let me know."Prof. Rowan reminded them.

"Thank you so much! We'll see you all later!"Dawn said, before they began to ride off.

"Good luck!"The Professor and his assistants call out as they began making their way away from the lab. But unknown to any of them they were a little someone that was watching from a window.

A little bit later...

Professor Rowan was currently studying Staraptor when suddenly an assistant came running into the room in panic.

"Professor!"

Prof. Rowan turned around and raised an eyebrow wondering what was happening now...

"Eevee had disappeared!"The assistant exclaimed, Prof. Rowan hummed at that."Professor you don't seem concerned."

"I might have an idea where she had gone to."Prof. Rowan said, looking out the window.

Some gasped as they start to piece together.

"Wait! Did Eevee follow you!"Ginny exclaimed.

"That would be telling."Alexia smiled.

"Ah, come on! Not even a little hint?"

Meanwhile...

Approaching the harbor of the Sinnoh region was a boat that came all the way from the Kanto region! And aboard the ship was a familiar Pokémon Trainer who was watching the scene that was getting closer to them.

"There it is, the Sinnoh Region!"Ash Ketchum smiled.

"Who's that?"Neville asked.

"Oh! That's Ash, he's a friend."Alexia said.

"Are you sure he's just a friend."Fred and George teased her.

"What! No, he's just a friend!"Alexia blushed slightly at the implication.

"Pika!"

"Aipom!"His two Pokémon, Pikachu and Aipom called out, as they displayed their excitement of reaching a new land.

"Think of all the Pokémon here! We're gonna make lots of new friends, and I'm gonna become the Sinnoh champ!"Ash declared determined, while Pikachu shared the same idea.

The Kanto trainer has arrived in the Sinnoh region after conquering the Kanto Battle Frontier back at his home region, after parting ways with his friends and family, he finally arrived at the Sinnoh region where his new journey would begin. But what he and his Pokémon wasn't aware of was that there were stowaways on the ship, spying on them from afar.

A few minutes later...

"So, Aipom did follow you after all. I couldn't find Aipom anywhere, so I thought that might be the case. So you talked it over with Tracey, eh?"Professor Oak asked.

As soon as Ash have arrived, he made a quick phone call to Prof. Oak to let him know that Aipom has joined in on the ride.

"Yeah, that's why I let Aipom stay with me."Ash smiled, with Aipom displaying her joy.

"Aipom!"

"In that case, I'll be sure to send Aipom's Pokéball over to Prof. Rowan right away!"

"Good thinking, Professor and thanks a lot."Ash said gratefully. But the moment their conversation was about to end... trouble occurred as a big hand suddenly came out of nowhere and snatched Pikachu from Ash's shoulder.

Everyone was startled, not expecting this.

"Pika!"Pikachu cried out, alarming his trainer and Aipom.

"Pikachu! Who did that?"Ash gasped as he ran after the culprits, leaving Prof. Oak surprised.

"What's wrong?"He called out, only to get no response as Ash was already making chase after a familiar Meowth balloon.

"I can't believe they're here!"Ash growled, trying to make chase after them.

Alexia groaned as she recognized them, she didn't miss them.

"Who are they?"

"Ugh, they are Team Rocket, they are notorious for trying to steal people's Pokémon."Alexia said.

Everyone gasped at that, as some felt angry at that.

"Prepare for trouble and your greatest twerpish fear!"

"Direct from the Battle Frontier!"

"An evil as old as the galaxy!"

"Sent here to fulfill our destiny!"

"Seems like a waste of energy for a twerp!"

Everyone were confused.

"What was that?"

Alexia groaned."They always do that."

But then everyone gasped when they heard the Pokémon talking.

"Did that Pokémon just talk!"Tonks exclaimed.

"Yeah, that Meowth can talk, I still have no idea how it's that possible."Alexia said.

It was Jessie, James and Meowth, the Team Rocket trio that would follow Ash around the world in order to steal Pikachu, or any kinds of Pokémon that they found were rare or powerful.

"Come back!"Ash demanded, only to be met with taunts.

"Come off it!"

"Come again!"

"With more pokémon!"

"Bring Pikachu back!"Ash demanded as he and Aipom continued to give a chase.

"I hope, he's able to save his Pikachu."Luna said.

"No thanks!"The trio shot back as they continued to float away to make their escaped, with Pikachu as their prisoner, the trio began to have their little 'celebration' for their success.

"Success! Let's plot a course straight for the boss."James smirked triumphantly as Jessie took a quick look around.

"Don't we need to know where we are first?"

"You've never known where you're at before, so why change?"Meowth said.

"Come one! After our long trip, let's have a little look around."Jessie said, only to be met with a glare from Meowth.

Everyone raised an eyebrow at seeing them arguing.

"Little look'? Next thing, you'll be waiting to build a house!"

"So are you implying that my suggestion are less than sound?"Jessie shot back.

"I don't have to imply nothing with a knucklehead like you!"

"You're such a Pokéchild, you deal with this."Jessie sighed, forcing Wobbuffet to take the hit for her as Meowth began to unleash his best move.

"Fury Swipes!"

Unfortunately, Team Rocket didn't take account to Wobbuffet using Counter as he struggled to endure it before it resulted in...

KABOOM

Everyone gasped.

"Did that Pokémon just use bide too?"

Alexia shakes her head."Nope, that was counter."

An explosion! Pikachu shrieked as he was sent plummeting down to the forest below, while Team Rocket trio were sent flying in the air as usual.

"Can't you take a joke!?"

"When it comes to countering, the Wobbster rules."James yelped.

"Wobbuffet!"

"When it comes to flying, I guess we all rule."Meowth sighed.

"We're blasting off again!"

"Blasting off again? How many time had they been blast off?"Cedric asked.

"Too many."Alexia said.

"Wobbuffet!"

And with those words, they were gone out of sight, but while they may be gone, it doesn't change the fact that Pikachu was separated from his trainer. Ash had noticed the explosion take place, forcing him to pick up the pace, for there was no telling what'll happen if he and Pikachu are separated for too long.

Everyone gasped seeing that they were now separated.

And with the Sinnoh region being a big place, Ash would have to search very hard to find Pikachu, for his adventure had begun with an explosive start.

I do accept suggestions for Alexia Pokémon, the only constraint is that they must be from gen 1 to 6 and no Legendaries.
