Epilogue
“Hello?” Remus asked with just one eye open.
He was half awake and would probably be upset if he woke up because someone called him so early; but Sirius had his head on his chest and was lazily smiling up at Remus, also not fully awake himself.
Padfoot was barking in the living room, it seemed the ringtone had also woken him up.
It was a sight that Remus had missed greatly.
“Put Sirius on the phone right now.” demanded James with a serious tone.
“What?” asked Remus rubbing his eyes. Sirius kissed his jaw and Remus sighted contently. “How do you know Sirius is here?”
Sirius´s eyes went wide. “Who is it?” he whispered.
“Remus, put Sirius on the phone or put me on speaker.” insisted James. Then he added to another person. “Reggie come here, you won´t believe your brother.”
“It´s James.” Remus mouthed to Sirius.
Sirius buried his face on Remus´s neck.
“He is going to kill me.” whispered Sirius as Remus covered the speaker. “He made me promise I'd wait a few weeks to make a move on you.”
“Technically I made the move on you.” smirked Remus.
“So not the point right now, Moons.” smiled Sirius.
“Um James I don´t know why you think Sirius is with me. Specially so early.”
“Remus put me on speaker right not.” Remus did as James told. “Well first of all, dear Moony, I can hear Padfoot barking.”
“That damn dog.” Sirius smiled. Remus kissed his forehead.
“And second, I called Sirius´s phone so you better explained why you picked up.”
Remus looked at the phone he had in his hand. It was indeed Sirius´s phone.
A laughed bubbled out of Remus´s chest and Sirius laughed as well, delighted in seeing his Moony so happy.
“You two are terrible. Did you shag?” asked James.
“James!” scolded Regulus.
“Oh, Remus, Sirius you are on speaker.” he announced. “And let it be clear that we told Sirius he should have waited.”
“Not fair, Remus made a move on me!” complained Remus.
Everyone laughed.
“Well get your arse off the bed and come to our house in thirty minutes.” demanded Regulus with the same childish tone as his brother.
“Moons and I are too comfortable, thank you.” And as if to prove it, even though James and Regulus couldn´t see, Sirius kissed Remus.
“Come one Pads, we have to celebrate.” said James.
“Celebrate?” asked Remus.
“Yup, we just got engaged!” said Reggie happier than Sirius had ever heard him.
Sirius jumped out of the bed and snatched the phone from Remus´s hand as he gushed with his brother.
Both boys, and Padfoot, went to the Potter´s to celebrate that evening. And in the end Sirius did not renew the apartment's semi-annual contract, because six months later his boxes moved from apartment six to apartment five, which was just across the hallway; but apartment five had window with a pretty view of the street but and an even prettier and loving boyfriend, called Remus Lupin.
