Chapter 1
Something was amiss. In the white void, the Truth could feel being watched.
Normally, no one can watch them, not if he knew who it could be. They stood and looked around. All White, nothing to see for miles.
She then watched as a piece of paper fell in front of them. He watched it fall onto the ‘ground’ and saw it was a note.
It read: ‘Sorry in advance! Taking some of your favourite mortals for a bit!’ before they felt the world shift and history change.
Grinning to itself, Truth sat back down. “As long as you don’t get them killed” many voices spoke, but you can at least hear what they said.
“This should be interesting” Its grin seemed to grow larger.

Ed fell through the doors. He didn’t feel right, didn’t feel safe.
Even with all the information flying through his head, he could feel his body changing like it shouldn’t.
He screamed before passing out, then waking up again just as quickly.
He gasped looking around frantically, to find he was in a forest.
He groaned at the headache he had, and his ports clenching at the cold surrounding him.
“The fuck?” he shut his mouth quickly. Looking down he saw his small hands, his voice was squeaky just like when he was eleven. “What the hell!” he stood, only to fall unbalanced.
He still had his auto-mail leg, right?
He kneeled over and checked his leg. It was fine, it shrunk in size as well, and the same with his clothes. “Why does this happen to me” he groaned.
Slowly getting up this time, he started to walk. As he did, he remembered what happened.
He was sucked into a portal.
There's not much to go on, but he knows Truth had something to do with it. But at the same time, he couldn’t help but know Truth didn’t have anything to do with it.
Where was Al? Did he come with him? They had gone their separate ways to research different forms of Alchemy, it had been at least three years since Promise Day.
And now he was eleven in a different universe, alone and cold.
He froze when he saw gold-glowing eyes staring at him.
“What a small child like you doing out alone?” the thing walked closer and Ed stepped back. The moon was full and bright, so he could see what it was once it stepped into the light.
His mind worked in overload, giving him information. A werewolf.
Fuck, magic, wizards, too much information. He shook his head, closing the gate, he needed to focus he was in danger. He dodged just in time for the attack “No need to run or hide!”
Ed yelped dodging again. His heart pounded in his chest before he took a breath to calm. He wasn’t used to this body, he reacted the same, but from being eighteen to eleven is a big change.
“Get a hold of yourself Fullmetal, just because you’re eleven in body, doesn’t mean you’re not 18 in mind” he hissed to himself.
Knowing he wouldn’t win if he fought in this body, he ran.
“Nowhere to run runt!”
“I’M NOT A RUNT!!” Ed yelled before ducking under a giant tree branch.
He skidded to a stop a mountain literally in his way. He heard the growing before the footsteps.
He turned and ducked under the wolf’s teeth. The wolf chuckled “Excellent reflexes, you’ll be a great addition to the pack!” he lunged again and Ed had no time to dodge, being stuck by the bottom of the mountain.
His scream woke many creatures that night.
Edward had tears streaming down his face when he instinctually clapped his hands together and slammed them on the ground.
The earth moved sloppily but made what Ed needed, a hand to push the wolf away.
The wolf yelped as he was flung hard against a tree.
Edward took deep breaths as he put pressure on his wound. “Little rat!” the wolf lunged again and Edward pushed himself against the wall of the mountain, eyes terrified, when-
Veesh! Whud!
An arrow hit the wolf right in the chest, not going through, but with enough force to knock them back.
They growled and glared at the side, where Edward could barely see two creatures approaching them.
Centaurs his mind provides for him. He closed the gate before any more information could come through.
“Get the youngling!” one yelled knocking another arrow.
He was getting black spots and could feel himself drifting away when the centaur kneeled to help him.
He was losing too much blood, blood pooling over his clothes and ground, when the centaur picked him up. He grunted “Nein” he struggled but it didn’t do much. “Calm, young one, you're safe”
He didn’t believe anything the man was saying, but he couldn’t stop his eyes from closing and passing out from the blood loss.
-=-
“-attack! Right here?”
“We chased the wolf off, they won’t be coming here anytime soon”
“And the bite?”
“Clear, for now, we can’t tell for sure if the cure stuck or not”
A sound of a relieved sigh.
“And the other boy?”
“Found muddy and scratched up, but otherwise fine”
Edward blinked, feeling the pain on his side first before the conversation settled in.
“The two look to be related”
Edward gasped sitting up, ignoring the sting of pain.
“AL!”
He looked around blindly before settling on the four adults in the room. One centaur, an old man, a giant and a bat.
“Foal! You should not move!” the centaur moved over to him. Edward moved away “Go avay, I need my brozer!” he flinched, touching his chest to see bandages wrapped all around his chest and stomach. “You are in no condition to move right now”
Edward fought a bit but stopped when he felt something.
It felt like a heavy blanket around him, like fog. He flinched when he was pushed down.
“ED!” he gasped sitting up again and saw his brother run into the hut.
“AL!” he didn’t get up but he didn’t have to as Alphonse ran over to him and hugged him.
His brother looked so young, ten years old most likely. “Are you okay?” Alphonse asked. “Am I okay? Are you okay!?”
Alphonse teared up “I wake up in a dark forest with so much information in my head I passed out from the overload and wake up in a hut full of mystical creatures and they are telling me a werewolf attacked you! A werewolf!” he cried and hugged him tighter.
Edward stared shocked. His little brother was crying, it’s been a while since he’s seen his brother crying on him, and he’s ten-years-old no less. He hugged him back “Sorry, sorry…I” he just hugged his brother.
The adults watched the two speak in a different language then proceeded to cry “Hagrid, Severus, step outside for now, Firenze stay for now” the old man said.
Edward held his brother closer when the two left, and two stayed. “You should get some rest, no need to speak to them now,” the centaur said getting up when he saw sure the wounds didn’t open.
The old man nodded and Edward calmed a bit.
He rested his head on Alphonse. “What’s going on brother?” he asked. “I’m not sure, I would blame Truth…but I don’t think they have anything to do with this one”
“I don’t think so either” Edward blinked away sleep. “Sleep for now…we can think more when you’ve gotten more rest”
“I’m fine” Edward gritted out but didn’t fight Alphonse when he helped him to lie down again and fell asleep hugging each other.
It reminded him painfully when he, Al and Winry would have sleepovers.
