Chapter 2
Sirius
Sirius was anxious for transfiguration to end. He just wanted to be with Remus. Feeling no shame, Sirius practically dragged Remus from transfiguration and into their dorm. Running up the stairs he noticed his legs shaking a little, still worn out from his training that morning but he paid them no mind, his attention consumed with his Moony.
When they got into their dorm, Sirius pulled Remus into him, pushing his own body against the door. Remus took Sirius’ hands into his own, pinning them next to his head as their lips attacked each other in pure passion. Without coming up for a breath, Remus moved his hands to Sirius’ waist, pulling Sirius into his chest. As Sirius started littering kisses along Remus’ neck he managed to croak out a coherent thought, “missed you this morning pads.”
Sirius replied between kisses, “couldn’t miss my morning training.”
“You’ve been running a lot lately, baby”
“Got to keep fit for…” Sirius trailed off, pushing Remus towards his bed, effectively finishing his sentence.
Remus allowed himself to fall, pulling Sirius into a cuddle as he landed on top of him, Sirius’ lips still attached to his neck.
“Padfoot,” Remus ventured in a more serious tone.
“hmmm?” Sirius sat up noticing the shift, “what’s up Moony?”
Remus pulled Sirius off him, instead resting the other boy’s mop of unbrushed curls on top of his stomach. Sirius curled into the position feeling himself give out as Remus ran his fingers through Sirius’ knots, pulling gently at the root.
“You weren’t at breakfast,” Remus continued.
Sirius almost froze, caught off guard. He was glad he wasn’t facing his boyfriend or his expression would have given him away. He tried his best to feign nonchalance,
“I know, I was training. You are certainly keeping me busy with cardio Moony,” he joked.
“You weren’t at breakfast yesterday either.”
Sirius should have known deflection wouldn’t work. Not on Remus. Sirius should have known nothing would get past him. He wasn’t trying to lie to Remus, it just was something he wouldn’t get; a family thing. Since getting back from summer break, Sirius had noticed that Regulus had gotten stronger, leaner and fitter. Whatever Walburga was doing to him had made him look, for the first time, not like Sirius’ baby brother but a proper, fit teenager. Sirius hated it. Sirius also noticed that whilst Regulus looked better, he looked fatter himself. He was forever grateful that the Potter’s had taken him in but he also couldn’t help but notice the way his arms looked a little rounder, there was more of his stomach to grab at every since spending the summer with James and his family. If Regulus looked good, Sirius had to too. This jealousy, this obsession was engrained in him, there was no use fighting it but he also didn’t know how to explain this to Remus, so he lied.
“I actually went down to the kitchens, and asked the elves to make me this shake. I’m…” Sirius faltered, “I’m nervous that with my broken arm I’ll be miles behind the rest of the quidditch team when I get back in so I’ve been getting these like muscle improving shakes from the kitchen that apparently Slytherin use and running to keep the fitness up since I can’t fly. I promise everything’s okay, I’m just nervous about returning in a few weeks that’s all.”
It wasn’t all a lie. He had heard rumours about Slytherin and these muscle enhancing shakes, he just had no interest in muscles, he wanted to be thin, lean like he was before. He remembered his mother’s lessons on calories and he knew that this would all be over soon, he wouldn’t need to lie to Remus much longer. He would reach his old weight, 55kg, next week according to his math and it would all be okay, he could eat whatever he wanted again. There was no use getting Remus involved, he’d be done soon.
“Oh.” Remus replied before continuing, “Sirius you have nothing to be nervous about okay? You’re the best goddamn beater I know.”
“You’re only saying that cause you’re shagging me.”
“Padfoot, I’m saying that cause it’s true,” Remus continued with a smile, “just look after yourself yeah?”
“‘Course Moony! Are you just nervous that soon my muscles will be bigger than yours?” Sirius asked with a grin, turning his head to face Remus.
“Nah, I’m not worried, not when I can still do this,” Remus slid himself out from under Sirius, flipping the other boy onto his back and pinning him against the mattress. Sirius let out a moan,
“The bloody things you do to me Remus Lupin.”
“Oh yeah?” Remus teased, sucking at Sirius neck.
“Please.” Sirius moaned again.
Remus moved his right thigh in between Sirius’ eliciting a sharp intake of breath as the boy under him fell into his touch, struggling to form a coherent sentence. Sirius’ brain had gone fuzzy, all that he knew was that he wanted more.
“More. Moony,” he tried.
“What do you want baby?”
Sirius could do nothing but moan.
“Please.”
Remus began moving his thigh, “Okay,” he breathed against Sirius’ lips.
