The Betrayal
Draco Malfoy stood outside the door to his bedroom, his heart pounding in his chest. He had a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach, a feeling that something was not right. He pushed open the door and stepped inside, only to be met with a sight that made his blood run cold.
Astoria, his wife, was entwined with Theodore Nott, a former classmate and friend. Draco felt a surge of anger and betrayal wash over him as he watched them together, their bodies moving in a way that made Draco sick to his stomach.
He had always known that his marriage to Astoria was one of convenience, a way to uphold his family's reputation and secure his place in society. But seeing her with another man, a man he had once considered a friend, was a blow that Draco was not prepared for.
As he stood there, frozen in shock, Astoria's eyes met his. There was a flicker of guilt in her gaze, but it was quickly replaced by defiance. She knew that Draco had no right to be angry, that their marriage was nothing more than a business arrangement.
But Draco couldn't help the surge of jealousy and hurt that coursed through him. He had never loved Astoria, but he had never expected her to betray him in such a way.
