Chapter 2

The next day, Galinda felt a light throbbing pain on her thighs, and... something especially new. She was... Comfortable. and she felt all the more safe then she had ever, even in the comfort of her own house.

She shuffled just in the slightest, her eyes adjusting to the bright pink light.

God, she had to change those curtains again later.

She was still registering when.

"Mm... G-Galinda...?" Elphaba muttered, leaving Galinda in a state of shock.

"Are you awake...?" Elphaba asked, and Galinda in fact, was very awake and aware now.

She was literally clung around Elphaba like a Koala.

She immediately remembered everything and started to rethink all her life choices up until now.

She was so startled she jumped back with so much force; she fell off the bed.

"Fuck! -" Galinda said, toppling onto the ground with a loud "THUD."

Elphaba was not supposed to be there.

Why were her legs bandaged again? Galinda thought, she really did have no recollection of anything happening. and oh boy, was this day going to be a long day.

Elphaba was walking around the areas in crage hall, taking in all the scents and people. Until she saw him, Fiyero Tiggelaar.

She sighed to herself and immediately started booking it over to Dr.Dillamonds Class, almost running like she was about to get kidnapped by this prince guy.

"Ms. Thropp!" Fiyero said, running after her. he looked... Friendly enough to say the least, but she had heard about him and his... "Antics."

"Yes, Fiyero...?" Elphaba said, embracing and mentally preparing herself for this conversation she did not. Want to be in.

"I just needed your opinion on something." He said, looking very serious about this.

as if he actually cares about my fucking opinions. Elphaba thought but reluctantly replied.

"What is it, how I would rate myself on a scale from one to ten...?" She said so seriously, he could hardly take it as sarcasm.

"Just... do you think I can out Toss Toss, Galinda?" Fiyero said, looking Way to serious about his question.

"Sure."

"Oh- that's it? Just a, yes?"

"Yeah."

"Uhm... well, okay. I guess I'll take my leave." Fiyero said, smiling before tying up his longer brown hair, and rolling up his sleeves to show off his blue tattoos of diamonds on his arms.

That was the nicest introduction she literally had ever gotten to a person.

Galinda was sitting in a cafe, with Pfanne and Shenshen.

She wanted to go back home and work on a building she had recently created just for fun, but had actually gotten really invested in it, but alas.

"I can't believe you can actually be roommates with her." Pfanne said, readjusting his glasses as he took a sip of his coffee.

"Yeah, I know, right? She just seems so horrible. I would have left Shiz by now if I was roommates with her. You really Are a Martyr." Shenshen replied, smiling at her, before her eyes wandered to the courtyard, and it turned into a scowl.

"Shen, what is I- oh..." Pfanne said, before turning Galinda's head toward the History department.

"What is it?" Galinda said, before catching her.

it was Elphaba.

She was in leggings, with a dark gray skirt on top, a black turtleneck, and a dark gray Trench coat. her hair was messily tied up, like she didn't care about what she wore.

And that made Galinda feel... Weird.

Her heart skipped a beat.

Wasn't she supposed to loathe her?

Yes. that's what that feeling was when she saw her talk to Fiyero.

Loathing.
