Next morning Astoria stirred in her bed, her heart racing. Something wasn't right. Draco wasn't beside her. She sat up, her brow furrowing, and glanced around the room. Her gaze landed on the door, and she felt a cold chill run down her spine.

Quickly, she leapt out of bed and began to search the house, her anger and jealousy growing with each passing moment. She searched every room, every closet, every nook and cranny she could think of. But Draco was nowhere to be found. It was as if he had simply vanished into thin air.

Finally, she found herself standing in front of his closet, her heart pounding in her chest. Something told her that he was here, that he was hiding something. She reached out, grasping the door handle and pulling it open. Inside, she was greeted by a tidy array of clothes and accessories, all perfectly arranged. But as she began to sift through them, her fingers brushing against the soft fabric and smooth leather, she caught a familiar scent. It was a girlish perfume, one that she recognized from their past.

Her breath hitched in her throat as she followed the trail of scent, moving further into the closet. She searched through the folds of Draco's clothes, her hands shaking as she uncovered a small, velvet box hidden away in a secret compartment between his underwear and socks. Her heart raced as she opened it, revealing a pink letter addressed to Draco from Pansy. Her eyes scanned the page, taking in every word, every line, every word that spoke of their love for each other, their passion and their longing.

The truth hit her like a ton of bricks. All this time, she had known that their marriage wasn't happy, that Draco didn't love her the way he loved Pansy. And she had known, deep down, that she loved someone else too. Theodore. But to actually find concrete proof of it all, hidden away in Draco's closet, was another thing entirely.
