Chapter 2
Evan sat down at the Slytherin table across from Barty and Regulus.
"Morning!" He said, taking a piece of toast from Regulus.
Barty mumbled something that sounded vaguely like a greeting.
Evan raised an eyebrow at them.
"What's up your ass?" Evan complained.
Regulus laughed. "They're hung over. I told him to not drink too much."
Barty glared at his boyfriend.
Fake boyfriend, Evan had to remind himself.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever I just have a headache that's all," Barty muttered.
Evan rolled his eyes. "Merlin, how many times do we have to tell you to not get drunk on nights that we have classes the next day."
Dorcas plopped down next to Evan. "With Barty, you'll have to pound that into his head for them to even thing about it."
Regulus' lip twitched up. "Apparently so."
"Oh come on," Barty groaned. "You're my boyfriend aren't you supposed to be nice to me?"
Regulus' eyes sparkled.
Evan still has no idea how his eyes do that.
"Hmm," Regulus pretended to ponder Barty's question. "No I don't think that's right."
Barty dramatically gasped." Rude!"
"Okay, and?" Regulus countered.
"You're so mean! Evan do you see how mean he is?!"
Evan raised an eyebrow again.
"Who says you don't deserve it."
Barty let out another dramatic gasp. "I am literally getting ganged up against. Where's Pandora, I need someone to back me up here."
Evan took a bite of toast before replying, "They're at the Gryffindor table with Emmeline, Lily and Mary."
"Everyone is leaving!" Barty complained.
Dorcas laughed. "You'll survive Barty."
Evan shook his head. "God forbid Barty gets left alone for 5 minutes."
"This is harassment."
"Good for you. I'mma go visit Pans," Evan said before standing up.
"Bye Ev," Regulus said, not looking up from his breakfast.
Evan felt heat rush to his cheeks. "Yeah, bye."
What on EARTH was going on.
