Hi! I am participating in Round 10 of Last Drabble Writer Standing! They post the drabbles in a collection, but I wanted a place for them to live on my own account as well. If I only make it one round, this collection will only have two drabbles but who knows? Maybe I will make it farther or maybe other drabbles will be added here from other things as well.UPDATE: I am now participating in Round 11 of the Last Drabble Writer Standing. This time it is rare pairs and Shakespear themed! Drabbles to be added here as long as I am still in the competition.
There Are Worse Fates

The cell was littered with bones. Hermione stood, clothes bloody from battle, chin high.
“Who is your Lord?”
“I have none.”
Theo allowed her no sleep or food for days.
He returned, pushing her frail body against the wall.
“Who is your Lord?’
Hermione’s lips parted. He ached to kiss them. “I would sooner call the moon the sun.”
He brushed his lips against hers. “I will care for you in the Lord’s new order.”
“I won’t be tamed.”
Warmth spread across his middle. A sharp shank of bone was driven into his belly. “You will die for this.”
“Good.”
