It was Valentines Day, everyone in the hotel is having fun with their partners, or if their single(Niffty), they hang out with the others. But, one man decided to celebrate alone, or actually, not celebrate at all. Can you guess who it is? Bingo, it's the damn Radio Demon, Alastor! He wants to stay in his room all day, until the sickening additions of red hearts to the already red ring of Pride finally fades away. He's confused, yet doesn't want to find out why he does not seem to have any strong feelings towards women, even Rosie! She feels more like family to him(let's just act like the Season 2 leaks didn't happen).
The rest of the staff were happy, some were adorable, and some were... Very in love. But poor Niffty is all alone, but she doesn't really care, all she cares about is killing the damn insects. She then notices something out of the ordinary...
"Guys! Where's Alastor?"
Her question seemed to have attracted the other staff members. They all looked towards her, and soon realized Alastor's absence. Vaggie speaks up, being a hater to the man(ehem, the men) as always.
"Eh, why not just enjoy the day while that sadistic jerk is absent? We have our own errands to attend to. Because, you know, we're not single like him."
Charlie looks at Vaggie slightly angered. She speaks up, being as kind hearted as she always is.
"Oh, come on, Vaggie! Don't be so rude! Some people choose to not be in a relationship! And they have their own reasons that we don't know! Don't judge a book by its cover, love! We should all respect Alastor's non-relationship status! We should invite him down with us to celebrate as comrades! If he wants to, of course!"
Lovestruck Vaggie sighs, but soon obviously agreed with Charlie, and the rest of the hotel obliges, then walks to Alastor's room. Charlie takes the lead, and when they arrived, she's the one who knocked.
"Yoohoo! Alastor! It's me Charlie! May we have a word with you? Pleaaaaase!"
Alastor, not expecting visitors, got up from his peaceful coffee break. He straightened himself up, fixed his hair, then walked towards his door to open it, he then greets his dear colleagues.
"Good morning Charlie!- oh! And all of you too! What seems to be the issue that all of you had to come see lil' ol' me in this specific day in which all of you should be with your lovers?"
Charlie chuckled before telling him what's up
"Well, we wanted to invite you at the lobby! We want you to celebrate with us, Alastor!"
Alastor, looking shocked, quickly turns his gaze into confusion. What? Him? Celebrate Valentine's Day? WHAT? He's the most single person out of all of them! Why would he celebrate it???
"Oh Charlie, dear! Why would I celebrate Valentine's Day? It's solely for couples, and couples only! I don't want to be in the way of your... Mingling. I am as single as can be, but I am not that lonely! I'll spend my time alone today though! You guys return to your shenanigans now!"
Vaggie chimes in, salty towards Alastor as always.
"Hey, jackass. We literally just invited you with us, I wouldn't let it slide unless your ass wasn't so lonely that we wanted you to join, it was all out of pity. Stop being such an asshole, and celebrate with us, but don't be so close to any of us."
Alastor continues to decline, oh, he is SO stubborn.
"As I said, dear, I do not want to celebrate the day where solely only COUPLES should really celebrate! Don't waste your precious time on me! Use it to celebrate with your lover instead! I have my own things to do, so go do your own, dearies!"
Husk joins in, tired of this bs af.
"Come on, boss, just join us, and let's get this over with. I'm trying to be a good guy to my great guy today, okay? Just celebrate with us as comrades. I'll give ya a couple of shots if ya want."
Angel also talks, wanting to spend some fun time with the staff, taking this day as his day-off from being his usual erotic persona.
"Yesh, smiles! It'll be fun! Let's just party! Nothing wrong with that! We're friends after all! Kinda like friends? Well, close enough."
Impatient Niffty climbs up to Alastor's head, quickly scrambling to get Alastor to join.
"Come on, Alastor! I'll put up a romantic roach show for all of us! I'll make sure it's family friendly this time! I really wanna spend time with you today!"
Alastor still declines.
"Why, I have my own errands to run. I apologize, but I have got to go now! Please do continue your party, if not with me then with your lovers! See you later now, signing off!"
he quickly teleports outside of the hotel, leaving the staff to celebrate without him. He walks around the city, not sure what to do. That errand thing he said was total bull, he just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. He did not want to admit it at all, but he was feeling... Jealous. Why couldn't he just feel, ugh, feelings towards the women he was already close to??? He only had strong feelings for men, and it wasn't romance at all! At least, that's what he thought...
And just when it couldn't get worse, Vox shows up and destroyed Alastor's composure. Alastor tries to quickly make an escape, only to fail as Vox has already spotted him. Damn it, that TV's new software updates are spot on... Vox is quick to mock Alastor.
"Hey, Alastor! Is that you? Haha! Can't believe I'd see your single ass here! Are you trying to look for a desperate soul who would act as your lover?"
Alastor is shocked, feeling super disrespected. He looks at his rival, remembering the fight which tore them apart. He's successfully managed to forget most of the memory, but he can't seem to forget the way that Vox were so desperate for Alastor to join his team. The tears Vox sobbed were of an unrealistic amount... Alastor knew they're relationship was complicated. And he somehow feels.... Sad. He's never felt the most negative feeling, sadness, for quite a while now. The first strong feeling he's felt for years. He looked at Vox with sad eyes, and Vox was quick to catch it.
