The Day Everything Changed
Until the age of 5: I didn’t know my name, always thinking it was Freak. The humiliation I faced when the teacher called out my name and when I didn’t respond since I didn’t know that I was known as Harry Potter, she yelled at me while the other kids laughed including Dudley.
Thankfully, in my life an angel descended, a kid of my age who was a genius in making but highly shy. I felt that I could relate to her since she was bullied for being too studious.
She introduced me to the books that were inside the school library and from there, I learnt many things as I consumed the contents at a very fast rate. But after a month she left too, leaving me alone and since then no friend was made by me as I realized that no one here liked me due to Dudley’s fearsome reputation.
So, I turned my attention once again to books, and I found solace in fantasy books which followed the tales of warriors, magicians and people who used gaming to level up.
I especially loved the gamer system, since it allows you to grow infinitely even though at times, it may seek to bind you to them, inhibiting your potential.
Today was my eighth birthday and once again I was stuck in my cupboard as the people who take care of me i.e. my relatives i.e. the Dursley family forgot today’s occasion along with that they didn’t even give me some food.
Those gits want to see me suffer; I get that but what if I die? Bro these dunderheads are going to prison unless they hide me in a coffin before putting the body of our dead dog some feet above my ground covered coffin and then place plants on the soil above the dead dog’s corpse.
What? Why was I thinking about murder hiding plans? Gosh, I must be going cuckoo, well no worries sometimes being crazy in this chaos filled with world provides you happiness instead of trauma which I have currently.
I could hear celebrations outside my room with plenty of unknown voices of other people who probably came since they were Uncle Vernon’s business partner or colleagues.
Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia were always a curious bunch who on the outside seemed perfectly normal as they wanted stability and also, they were kind of obsessed with the idea of normality almost like if they wanted to be background characters in the grand scheme of things.
But their real personality was much more interesting, as it consisted of many cardinal sins which were written in the bible with Dudley having the sin of sloth while his parents (my relative) having the sin of greed, wrath, pride, gluttony, envy.
Along with all these factors, they were also child abusers and the victim in question was me though no one would trust me due to the rumors Aunt Petunia spread just to save Dudley’s skin and since they didn’t like me all his sins went on top of my shoulder.
That was the power of information, even if you were innocent, and didn’t commit any sins, a powerful being could manipulate information to make you guilty and sometimes you would wonder did you really deserve to be alive?
Through the small circular window of the cupboard, I looked at the night sky and surprisingly saw a shooting star and so I made my wish even though I knew it wouldn’t happen but for the sake of distracting myself I did it.
“Oh, Shooting Star, if you can hear my wish, please give me power to change my destiny and gain freedom to do whatever I please and stand upon the pinnacle with no one to dominate me.”
This was my wish, pretty dark for an eight-year-old boy but still, a man or a child who has seen a lot in their life matures more than a boy with a normal childhood.
Then I sat down on my bed looking at the ceiling above, thankful that there was no spider due to me cleaning this whole room, every now and then. Since I was the servant of the household.
Silently, I closed my eyes unaware of the shift that my life was about to go through because some god had indeed heard the prayers that were in my mind.
Somewhere Far Away
In a grand throne room, was a man whose beauty surpassed divinity, which couldn’t be expressed through words due to the magnitude of his aura. The blue eyes twinkled as the prayer of an innocent child went through his head.
Closing his eyes and wondering about a long time ago when he was also like that, groveling and sobbing because of his lack of magic but now he stands on the top due to him being an avatar of an omnipotent being and also increasing his level of magic.
He makes the decision of changing the course of destiny as he searches through the multiverse for that specific boy, who he found out is Harry Potter at least a variant of the real one.
“Oh~ he will be perfect for my new experiment.”
The divine entity uttered in a deep husky tone as he got up from his throne and began to descend down his stairs, with each footstep sending shockwaves through existence with no one being able to pinpoint the reason as he didn’t allow them to do so.
“Build System 1.032
Add Levels, Sins, Race, Inventory, Store, and Skills. Essentially just copy the gamer system from different dimensions but upgrade it so that the potential of the user becomes Divine God.
Add failsafe, so that if he tries to ever go against me then the system will erase his existence along with itself.
Add invulnerability so that system will not be removed nor controlled by anyone except for I and Harry.
Personality: Set it to a female, particularly one who grows alongside him so that he has someone to call friend and possibly in future when he grows strong, he will be able to court her.
Give: Ability to have human form after the user gets strong.
Bestow: Ability to Adapt and Grow
Integrate it now.”
The entity uttered the words as the system he tried to create appeared in front of him in the form of an orb.
“Go my creation, I have updated your database to give you the location of the user.”
The entity once again said to the orb which disappeared with a bright burst of light, traveling at thirty times the speed of light. The Divine Man smiled before advancing to his throne and closed his eyes, sleeping and maintaining all of existence, even things which were out of the verse.
