Vaggie was in so much pain. Her losing her right eye was bad enough but on top of that her wings had got violently ripped out. She could still feel the sharp pain in her back despite the lack of blood flowing out of it.
Her eye wasn't much better, or atleast the place where it was supposed to be. She felt like dying and she wasn't sure if that wasn't what was happening to her. Just at the thought of dying her breathing quickened and a sharp pain pierced through her heart.
She didn't want to die! She couldn't die yet! She had to survive and show those angels she is stronger than they think she is!
But her determination wasn't enough because deep down she was too exhausted to do anything. She just wanted to lay down and rest and maybe never wake up again. She just wanted the pain to go away!
Her head started to get fuzzy and her sight also got blurry. From the corner of her eye she could see a blonde haired girl approach her.
She felt the softness of her touch before she was eventually swallowed by the comforting darkness

When Vaggie woke up she found herself in a strange room. Her right eye was patched up and the pain in her back was now fully gone. She touched her right eye but it was a wrong choice because a sharp pain struct him almost imeditally.
She shakily sighed and decided to look around the room.
She was in a big bed with a few goat plushies laying next to her. The room was an unusual red colour, the ceiling was big, it towered above her and what was the strangest is that there were big family photos hanging on the walls. Standing up caotiously she walked over to examine the pictures better.
On the left was a blond haired man with a wide happy grin plastered across his face. He had two red spots on each corner of her mouth and he was dressed in all white. Next to him was a woman who had a similar hair colour like him. But unlike him she had big red horns coming out from the top of her head. She had a pleased smile on her face as she looked down at a little girl. The small child shared the same hair colour as her parents and she also had those red spots on her cheeks like her father. She had a big happy grin as well as she smiled at the camera.
She had no idea who these three people are. She felt like she should know but she didn't and she was ashamed at herself for that.
They were definetly demons and that meant they were dangerous. The angels around her always told her that all the sinners are evil and that they don't deserve to live. But that didn't explain why heaven let them kill not only the sinners but also the hellborns or the fact that she had fallen for not breaking this fucking rule. She was so pissed at the-
Her attention was drew to the door as it cracked open. A blonde haired girl stepped into the room and she blinked suprised when she saw Vaggie awake.
The girl was definetly the small child from the picture.
"Oh I see you're awake!" The blondie smiled gently at her. "How are you feeling? Does your eye hurt?"
"Only if I touch it" came the response from Vaggie who wasn't going to let her guard down around the girl despite how innocent and kind she looks. She knows better than to trust her imeditally "and uhm.. I feel pretty good I guess."
The girl let out a relieved sigh.
"Thats good to hear. Those angels got you pretty badly. I'm afraid you wont see out of your right eye again"
Vaggie nodded "I know but where am I?" She asked and looked around the place again.
"I brought you to my palace. I hope you don't mind" She chirped out happily smiling at the fallen angel.
Palace? Who exactly this girl? Vaggie thought and her eyes narrowed She was either lucky and got rich somehow or is a very powerful demon.
"Oh uhm yeah... great... My name is Vaggie who are you?"
The blondie seemed to brighten up.
"I'm Charlie Morningstar. It's nice to meet you Vaggie!" She reached her hand out to her and Vaggie froze.
Oh.
So she accidentally stumbled into the princess of hell right after falling from heaven... Great! Just her luck!
Wait...does she know that she is a fallen angel?
Vaggie hesitantly reached her hand out and shook the girl's.
"It's nice to meet you too princess."
"Oh please! Just call me Charlie!" She waved her off awkwardly
"Okay, Charlie" Vaggie nodded.
After they let go of each other Charlie clapped her hands together.
"Alright, that's settled. Say Vaggie do you want something to eat?" She asked her with her big wide smile.
"Yeah sure"
The walk to the dining room was quiet but neither of them seemed to mind it. Charlie sat down at the table and Vaggie decided to sit across her. Almost imeditally after they settled down a small red creature with horns ran up to the blondie.
"Today's breakfast is eggs with bacon we hope you'll like it princess" the little red man wore a small smile on his face as he spoke and Charlie's grin widened.
"Thank you Keir. Can I get another plate for my friend too please?"
"Of course" the little red man bowed then walked away probally where the kitchen is.
Vaggie was suprised. She expected the princess to behave like a brat talking to her servants but she didn't seem to treat her people badly. It just seems like she is naturally that kind and not just trying to play it off in front of her...
"So Vaggie" started talking Charlie and she realized maybe she stared too much at the girl "You're new to hell right?"
"Yeah" she nodded
"When did you die if I can ask?"
Die?
Oh! She doesn't know that I'm a fallen angel! She probally assumes I'm a sinner who doesn't know what is going on in hell and that's why I got injured.
I can work with this.
"Last week" Vaggie replied as the servants arrived with their plates. They both thanked for their food and slowly began to eat.
Charlie hummed and that chaught the silved haired girl's attention.
"Do you already have a place you can stay?" The princess asked eyeing Vaggie.
"Oh uhm no, not yet" she replied placing some bacon into her mouth. Charlie grinned widelly and looked at her with excitement.
Oh no... I don't like this
"And what do you say about staying here in the palace with me?"
That caught Vaggie off guard. She just stared at the princess in front of her and blinked trying to process what was she saying
"I-I uh.. are you sure you wouldn't mind?" She asked scratching the back of her head.
"No! Not at all!" Charlie responded looking at Vaggie with the most adorable puppy eyes she had ever seen "In fact I would be really happy If you stayed!"
"...why?"
"Because I never had a friend before!"
A friend?
Vaggie looked down at her plate of food.
"To be honest I never had a friend too" she smiled looking up at the blondie who continued to grin at her.
"So? Are you staying?"
"Yeah sure"
"Yipeee!!" Yelled Charlie and she ran up and hugged Vaggie much to the silver haired girl's suprise. She was so adorable.
Maybe falling wasn't as bad as Vaggie originally thought. Maybe she can get the best out of her situation.
