Chapter 43
In the grand hall of Hogwarts, the Weird Sisters were performing their songs, and everyone was dancing. Scorpius turned to Albus urgently. "We need to do everything fast. Can you see where Cedric or Harry is?"
"No, I can't," Albus replied, scanning the crowd.
"What could we do to find them?" Scorpius wondered aloud.
Just then, Scorpius spotted Harry with Ron. "I think I found him. He's with Ron. Oh no, he's going back to the Gryffindor common room."
"We need to follow him," Albus decided.
Albus and Scorpius ran after Harry, hoping to catch him before he disappeared. As they reached the portrait of the Fat Lady, she blocked their way. "You aren't Gryffindors. You can't go inside."
"Yes, we are just lost," Scorpius lied quickly.
With no other option, Albus and Scorpius left Hogwarts. Scorpius sighed, "Our plan has failed."
"Yes," Albus agreed. "I think we need to go back to the bathrooms."
As they headed back, Albus paused, "I think we aren't alone. I heard snogging sounds."
"You're right. I heard them too," Scorpius confirmed.
They followed the sounds to a secluded spot and found Draco and Pansy kissing each other. Albus started laughing, and Scorpius grabbed his hand. They quickly ran back to Hogwarts.
"I always knew my sister was a copy of my mother," Scorpius remarked. "Let's go to the bathroom. I think our time is almost up."
