A few days later
Chuckling I watch as a student hits the hallway floor sliding across the floor "once that door closes you will not be allowed entrance into my class" Uliana says stepping out sneering at the Gryffindor student looking shocked.
"But I have a note, I was with Madame Pomfrey" he says sounding confused.
Seeing her snach it to read she frowns before her eyes lock on me "Hermione, what does this mean?" She demands pushing it against my chest.
Looking at the note I roll my eyes "he had to get his wand arm healed he broke it" I answer while nudging Emma to help him up.
"Madame Uliana, Mr." I trail off looking at his name frowning slightly "Mr. Lily, is an excellent student who's never been late to class without a true reason, he's one of the most dedicated students to studies and truly wants to learn his magical history".
Seeing Emma's helped him up I hand the note back to her "he wasn't late by choice and would have been one of the first students to reach your class had he not had an injury" I finish.
She hums narrowing her eyes at him for a moment "very well, do not make a habit of this" she hisses before stalking in with him before the door slams shut.
"That's four students she's thrown out of class" Lily mutters.
"Yes, but it's every house she's hard on she has no favorites" I answer shrugging.
"She does and who it is surprised me when I figured it out" Ginny say sighing and leaning against the wall.
"Who?" I ask confused.
"Luna, she favors her I'm not sure why but I'm glad at least one Professor sees her intelligence"
Nodding I glance at the door before walking on I've been feeling unnerved lately and jumpy about everything I can't place this feeling but I know it's something important if only I could place it.
Maleficent pov
Looking at my work I pull my lips back showing my teeth while Merope looks at it tilting her head "what is this?" She asks.
Changing back to my human form I place my arm around her shoulders "it's home" I say proudly before leading her forward.
It took a lot of convincing with Regina and I nearly threatened her to ensure it happened, opening the door to my home I lead her to the wall that faced Regina's home before pressing the wall sliding it showing it's a completely hidden door.
Waving my hand the torches light showing a rock that was placed between our home large enough it nearly fills the entire area that I've kept hidden until now.
Walking down I chuckle seeing her glance around "it's a cave" She says.
"Yes and no" I answer "Regina refused to permit me to build a castle because it would pull to much attention it's uncalled for really, we are both Queens we should have our castle" I add ignoring her snorting laugh causing me to smile slightly.
"So I decided to place the rock and it caused a lot of disagreement however she bowed to my demands, after that I started this and it all started after I was woke up, since she refused to let me have my castle above ground I made this and she can't say anything about it because it's underground" I say proudly.
"You made an underground castle nest?" She asks frowning.
"Yes, so when my children have their children no one will be able to reach them, it's big enough we can take our true forms and not damage anything still leaving more then enough room for our family, the best part is the two houses are distractions because everyone will assume we live there when we are truly here"
"What about light or water?" Merope asks raising a brow.
"I caused some flooding and knocked the town out of power when I did that" I answer waving it off before sliding the dimmer switch lighting the room and hallway we came down casually.
"Aunt Mal, why use torches if you have power in here?" She asks sighing.
"I like the authentic look"
Hearing heels clicking I see Regina come up with her arms crossed glaring at me "Mal" she hisses.
"Welcome home"
"You knocked me out, brought me here, and moved all my personal belongings into that room" she growls.
Waving her off I move to the throne I made and sit down crossing my legs smirking before motioning to the second one "your highness" I drawl smugly ignoring her eyes narrowing at me.
"Merope dear, I have one for you as well" I add motioning to the three remaining seats.
"Mal, why do we need five thrones?" Regina asks pinching the bridge of her nose.
"I couldn't possibly exclude my mate" I answer motioning to the throne connected to me "I do have a few more in case we need them but I seen five in my dreams sometimes more".
"Why do I have one?" Merope asks.
"You are the mother of Basilisk's heir that means you are queen as well, now take your seat my dear because we have a kingdom to plan building before this curse breaks, we need to build our own army before Snow can wake up and start planning"
"Everyone is under the effects of the curse with no memory of who they were" Regina sighs.
"You woke me up"
"You trapped and asleep, not cursed with no memory Mal"
"Do you have the information about the curse?" Merope asks so softly Regina misses it since she's ranting.
"Regina shut up" I say not taking my eyes off Merope.
"I studied it before Regina stole it back, why?" I answer ignoring Regina's glare.
"Well I'm not great with magic, but I was always good with theories and ideas for adjusting stuff, maybe I could help with a possible adjustment or way to waking certain people up" she says nervously while looking down.
Smiling I stand up moving closer holding my hand out "Merope that's a wonderful idea let's go see if we can do anything" I say silently proud she's trying to step out of her comfort zone.
Glancing at Regina she smirks at me before heading to her and returning with the books stole from me on the curse, after getting Merope settled back in my house I tug Regina out of the room "you were right, now let's see if the tree of us can flip Rumple's curse in our favor".
Seeing her head back I follow behind but stop and lean on the wall watching my niece looking at the book before writing something down, it was a long shot and slightly manipulative to trick her like this but, she's slowly gaining confidence if this works I hope it helps boost her confidence even if it's just a little bit.
