Hooch pov
Walking at a brisk pace to the door of a home I've managed to keep secret no matter what that meddling old man tried, I open the door seeing my niece exactly how she's been since they were targeted and forced to abandon her son.
"Merope" I say softly waiting till she looks at me, seeing the heartbroken and defeated look in her eyes I smile stroking her cheek "it's time to move" I add.
She sighs leaning her face on the window looking out uncaring, reaching out I lift her weak frame into my arms "what's the point? They killed him, I barely held him before I had to leave him and now I'll never know him" she whispers.
"Stoke that fire girl, you have yet to learn the truth" I whisper near her ear.
Turning I Apparate to Malfoy Manor seeing it's in a fury of activity, Merope rolls her head looking to the action with the same blank stare "Aunt Dracaena" Emma calls running up smiling.
"Emma" I warn seeing her reach out touching Merope limp hand "this is your cousin" I add seeing she's curious about her.
"Uncle Basilisk descent?" She asks.
"Yes, she's Tom's mother"
"Bring her here so we can check her" Cora orders before stalking off to Narcissa's improvised healing room.
Heading after her I step in seeing a few Death Eaters being healed "who's she?" Andromeda asks motioning to a free bed.
"Tom's mother" I answer again.
"Emma, go see if our Lord's available while we check her" Andromeda says before casting a few spells over her.
"Can you tell me anything?" She asks frowning at the results.
"She's been hiding since 1929, she's hardly moved and barely ate or spoke when I could check on her"
"She's malnourished, needs some excursie, and some healing most of her problems are simply the will to fight and live" she says softly.
"It's not uncommon for a dragon to go into depression even without their fire they can survive for centuries barely aging, we need to jump start her fight again" I say hearing Emma and Lily coming while fighting with two sets of calm but fast footsteps behind them.
Seeing them come tumbling in I hear Merope chuckle softly watching them as Hermione steps over them with Tom by her, they've gotten close almost like siblings in a way he's became a mentor to her.
"Aunt Dracaena" she greets
"Madame Hooch" Tom says before freezing and taking a deep breath looking at Merope who looks shocked at him.
"How?" She whispers softly.
"Aunt Maleficent helped restore me and I was given grandfather Basilisk's fire" he says slowly reaching out to her hand.
"Maleficent" she mutters frowning "is she here?" She asks nervously smoothing her dress.
"No, Mom's trapped in a cursed town somewhere in America we have to break the spell when we turn 28" Hermione answers.
"They're Maleficent's children stolen from her by Snow White, they've been helping Tom since learning about him and helped free me from Dumbledore, they've been messing up his plans without really trying" I add seeing Emma and Lily joining Hermione.
"She needs to take these, make sure she eats, ease her into it slowly uping the amount and walking will help" Andromeda says.
Hermione nods quickly writing a note before looking at Tom who nods "okay I have a note made for Ursula and Cruella, she needs to be taken out of here for safety so she will join the heirs with hiding wherever Cruella is going".
"What are you talking about?" Merope asks.
"Certain heirs are being taken somewhere only a select few know to keep them safe, you will be joining them as you're to weak to fight and Tom will not allow you to join this to keep you safe" Hermione answers snapping her notebook closed.
Seeing her go to argue I touch her shoulder "she means health wise Merope, you're father was a moron who understood very little about magic you will be taught" I whisper watching Hermione walk off dragging her sisters and Neela.
"We need to have a room prepared for her" Tom mutters.
"I've already handled that, take her to Ingrid she has an unplotted House that no one knows about she will set her up there" I say.
He nods lifting her gently "Okay Mother, we are heading to the triplets adopted mother she's a very kind lady and helped me while Aunt Maleficent was finding a way to restore me" he says softly before leaving.
