Chapter 58
Hermione pov
Walking down the hall to head for the library I softly hum Mom's lullaby to myself.
I place the books I've had down seeing the library worker take them to mark their return "I can put them up if you want ma'am" I offer.
She nods handing me some of the books needing placed since I'm trusted with it since like her I love and respect books.
"How did you find them?" She asks.
"Unfortunately, unhelpful it didn't tell me anything I don't already know but I finished them"
"I haven't seen Lily come in for books ever"
Nodding I smile placing a book up "She can't remember anything if she reads it without reading multiple times but if we read it to her she remembers, Emma has to read to remember, and I can read or hear and remember perfectly".
She nods smiling and I turn to a different area putting books up, frowning I look up seeing Dumbledore watching me.
Suddenly I grab my head swaying before everything goes dark and I pass out.
Lily pov
Pacing the room I glance at Hermione's room frowning she should be up by now to support me.
Walking out of the room I glare at people while heading for the Great Hall to check for her but she's not there either.
Glancing around I huff seeing Sev coming up to me "Come champions are expected at the tent.
Following him in I frown more seeing Fleur pacing the area nervously "Lily have you seen Gabby?"
"No, I can't find Hermione either"
Freezing I look at her feeling sick "Taken what we'll surely miss, search an hour to find, fail and it's never coming back".
Seeing understanding cross her face I shake biting my lip "He took them and put them underwater" she whispers.
"Veela do not like water, and Hermione is close to losing control of her temper" I add.
Hearing the announcement I shake watching everyone dive in before casting my spell and going in.
Swimming off I shake my head snarling at the spell trying to hold me in place.
Building my magic up I grunt feeling the water slam away from me as the spell breaks and take off keeping my senses active.
Finding Fleur wrapped up stuck, I move closer but jerk back seeing the plants try to grab me looking at her, she shakes her head mouthing go.
Snarling I turn rushing to find where everyone's kept, finding Hermione and Gabby I swim up freeing Hermione then turn to Gabby.
Finding a weapon in my face I snarl moving forward "Move your fucking tail or I'll drag you out with me and roast you alive".
Seeing the creatures gulp looking unsure I grabbing it squeezing slightly "Do not test me that girl is under a dragons protection".
It nods struggling around so I let go seeing them clear out, freeing Gabby and wrapping my arms around them I head up, reaching the surface, Hermione shoves away from me snarling.
Helping Gabby out after seeing Hermione get out I flinch seeing two fireballs in her hands, that she hurls at Dumbledore "You fucking moron I will rip your fucking spine from your body and show it to you".
Seeing Emma grab her holding her back I watch as Hermione yells more threats making Dumbledore pale.
Getting up I nod feeling Fleur kiss my cheek after Gabby, before moving to Emma to help her hold Hermione back "Is it just me or is her skin getting hotter?" Emma asks grunting.
Nodding I glance around "If she shifts here she'll hurt someone on accident trying to get to him" I answer.
"Professor Prince, Hermione's dragon is coming" Emma calls.
Seeing him pushing his way forward Dumbledore keeps causing problems with him getting to us as we drag her away.
Madame Maxime shove Hagrid out of her path as she rushes over yanking Hermione up and rushing to the forest with her.
Turning we chase after her reaching them just in time to see her toss Hermione across the field, before a large dragon body drops on the ground "You girls will be changing soon so get ready".
Nodding we move out to Hermione seeing her trying to stand "It's okay just take your time, we'll join you soon" Emma whispers.
Unknown pov
Taking a deep breath I freeze closing my eyes hearing three dragons roar before taking to the skies.
Looking up I smile seeing them stretching their wings for the first time, narrowing my eyes to focus on the bright orange bands around their neck, I relax smiling knowing they're covered so no one can claim mistaken them for wild dragons.
"Welcome my dears" I whisper.
Turning I walk back to my home closing the door and checking my protection spell keeping me hidden in plan sight "Soon you'll regret using that spell on me" I whisper harshly watch Dumbledore glaring at the triplets enjoying their first flight.
