Next day
Waking up as Cora comes in with clothes, she tosses them to us waking up my friends in our Transfigured beds "Up girls, change I managed to get us some horses".
Seeing everyone slowly get up I frown looking at the leather pants and boots she gave us.
"Where did you get these?" I ask.
"Found them, now get dressed or you won't get to bring down the White Castle".
Jumping up I quickly undress and redress in the new clothes as Cora takes our clothes putting them in her bag.
She hums looking us over "Perfect now let's go".
Following her out I see horses for each of us "How many of you know how to ride?"
Seeing everyone but Millie and Ginny raise their hands she nods helping them on "Stay by me I'll help".
Getting on, we follow her as she leads us back to the White Castle, reaching it she glances around before nodding "Have at it".
She leads the horses away slightly after we jump off before joining us as we cast causing the castle to start crumbling.
Watching as it comes down I twitch slightly casting more making sure it's completely useless.
Taking a breathe, Cora hands us some fruits "Eat and relax on the ride" nodding we quickly eat before getting on the horses again taking off.
Glancing up I frown feeling magic cover us before looking at Cora "It shields us from the heat of the sun and makes us invisible to anything around for safety" she answers.
I nod before looking at Ginny smirking at seeing she's figured out riding easily, clicking my tongue I urge my horse faster racing ahead of the group laughing as I lean forward for more speed.
Hearing the others rushing after me I laugh as my horse jumps a fallen tree, raising up I tug getting him to slow down patting him.
"How will we know if we're close?" I ask.
Cora moves up by me pointing ahead "You have dragon sight right?" She asks.
I nod looking at the area she's pointing to "A castle?"
"That's the castle of your mother's enemy, we have to pass it"
Nodding I look at it frowning "It's abandoned right?"
"Maybe, there are others here who managed to escape the curse behind a magical barrier mostly heros, they refused to let villains in, the few left had to set up our own areas"
Ridding on I snarl seeing a body fall in front of us as I pull getting my horse to stop with the others, curling my nose I cover my mouth and nose looking at Cora "You can taste the stinch" I hiss.
Cora nods riding forward "Ogre" she frowns moving back to us looking around "Stay close to me and let's go" she orders leading us around it.
Reaching the other side I tilt my head seeing two women snarling in our direction, getting Cora's attention I point at them.
She nods getting us stopped "We're just passing by" Cora calls after altering the protection on us.
"Show yourself" one orders.
"I have children with me" Cora adds before dropping the spell.
"What is your business in our territory"
"I'm trying to reach my Mom's castle" I answer.
They frown looking at me and group before looking at Cora "Who?"
"Maleficent" I answer.
My eyes snap to the small creature peeking out behind them, tilting my head I carefully get off my horse "You have a child with you?"
They snarl moving it back as I take a deep breath "No, two children" I add.
Feeling a shift near me I duck casting a tantrum spell on the lion that tries to jump on me, walking over to him I place my hand on his head forcing him back to human "Kane" the women scream.
"Easy, calm yourself so the spell ends I mean no harm" I say keeping my voice calm and soft while staying loud enough for the women to hear me clearly.
Looking at the guy I see it's a teenager slightly older than me, then frown hearing Tisiphone calling to me "that's Vatani and her mate Bellona".
Nodding I stand stepping closer to them "I am Hermione of the Dragon Kingdom, my clan and I are just passing by, to reach my Mother's castle to see if we can find anything to take home with us".
"Release our son"
"I can not, it is a protection spell used for dragon children when having a tantrum to make sure they can't break anything, it lets go when he calms down"
An hour later
Seeing the boy sit up I hold my hand out to him pulling him up to his feet then motion to his guardians, he looks at me unsure as I back up and get on the horse turning my back to him.
"You turned your back to him" one of his guardians say sounding confused.
"I've stood by and made sure while he was trapped he would be safe, he was forced to be exposed and vulnerable even with you here, I returned it showing faith that he will not attack me"
Clicking my tongue I get my horse moving "Good luck" I call back as we leave.
Glancing back I see Tisi hand something to the boy before catching up "What was that?" I ask.
She hums shrugging and moves ahead of me to be near Ginny.
