Chapter 19
Hitting the ground I groan before kicking my foot out hitting Emma "Why would you read that out loud?" I demand.
"Sorry" she mumbles.
Sitting up I huff looking around "Where the fuck are we?" Lily asks getting up.
I sigh picking up the book Emma managed to drag with us "We need to figure out how to get back".
Getting up I look around frowning "This is Wonderland" I mumble glaring at the twin males waddling around like morons speaking backwards.
Lily frowns picking up a rock throwing it at them before laughing when the one hit falls onto the other and they both yell rolling around trying to get up.
Turning I look around before pointing at a castle in the distance with red hearts "Let's go there" I say sighing.
Taking off we move through looking around as we go, coming to a table that's messy, Emma picks up a cup throwing it at Lily "Unbirthday" she says smirking.
Seeing Lily reach for the cake I grab her hand pulling her along "No, you two can reenact the Unbirthday food fight later, we need to get to the Queen of Hearts".
"Why?" Emma asks picking up a stick hitting the plants as we pass.
"Aunt Ingrid told us about a Queen who sent her mother to Wonderland, she's a sorceress maybe she can help us, honestly it's like you never listen to her lessons"
Continuing on I frown noticing Lily wonder off to a tree that she starts digging by.
Walking over she opens a box and pulls out a heart "Why would someone leave this left around for someone to find" Lily says smirking.
Hearing rustling I frown seeing a man holding a dagger with his hand held out dressed in white "Give me the witch's heart" he orders.
Lily frowns picking up the box and closes it "What witch?" She asks frowning.
"No, we won't hand over someone's heart just because you tell us to" Emma says moving between us.
Lily frowns carefully making the heart smaller before pocketing it, she looks at the box then him "What do we get for giving you it?" She asks smirking.
Seeing four more people come out holding daggers I huff grabbing the box and toss it to Emma, she lifts her hands to shield her face before the box suddenly shoots off away from us "It's the witch" I scream grabbing them and running away.
Hearing the people following us I yank my sisters into a bush hiding.
Watching them run past looking for us I sigh leading us away after casting a notice me not, leading them out and away I hold my hand out to Lily "Give me the heart".
She huffs handing it to me, looking it over I frown gently trailing my finger over it "There's a curse on it".
"Type?" Emma asks looking at it.
"Some kind of death spell"
Emma frowns grabbing it from me looking it over "That feels off like it's to soon".
"But look at it, it's all black they done a lot of bad" Lily says purring.
Emma shakes her head holding it up to the sun "Yes, but look it's not deeply colored it's like they done most without the heart in them".
Emma frowns as a white light glows from her hands surrounding the heart, I raise a brow seeing the heart start to bubble "Fuck the bubbles are black" Lily says laughing.
I nod watching as the bubbles start clearing up, once it's done Emma holds it out to me "So now what?"
"Go to the Queen of Hearts and see if she'll help us maybe we can find who this belongs to"
"They said it's a witch's heart" Lily adds crossing her arms.
Rolling my eyes I hand her the heart "See what you can tell about it" I order.
She huffs taking it and looking it over before she can speak a fire ball hits the tree near my head "WATCH IT YOU FUCKING CRAZY SLAG" Lily yells.
