Next day
Walking down the hall I bounce on and off stairs playing with the school as it moves the stairs around, tripping I frown looking around at where I am.
Hearing a low whine I follow it to a door pulling at it but huff when it doesn't open, pulling my wand out I unlock it and peek in seeing a large three headed dog, hearing him growl I growl back slapping his nose when a head tries to bite me "Bad boy, sit" I order.
Seeing a second head come at me I repeat the process on it and the third head "Sit" I order sternly.
Walking in I reach out petting a head while feeling it's collar "Poor baby" I coo before making the collar bigger and doing the other two heads.
Stepping back I touch the wall "Could you make a window for the good boy please?" I ask.
Seeing light streaming in I open it slightly before cleaning the area and placing a large bed I Transfigured.
Making my way out I hum locking the door back behind me "The third floor is forbidden to students".
"Hello to you too Sev, my day is going great how's your's?" I say.
He sighs roughly before grabbing my robes leading me back down the stairs, getting released I huff adjusting my robes.
"I'm getting really tired of people dragging me around, if I start fighting it things will get painful because I will start breaking their bones" I growl looking at him.
Feeling him flick my forehead I frown covering the spot glaring at him "You need to stop using your dragon as a threat before it loses it's effect on people, I will be having the same talk with your sisters".
Sticking my tongue out I turn walking away from him but grunt when he grabs my robes yanking me back to him while glancing at Professor Quil wondering the halls "That's a detention Ms. Fisher and 20 points from Ravenclaw" he orders.
Glaring at him I frown seeing him discreetly watching Quil, once he lets me go I huff going to catch Filch leading students out to detention.
Walking with Emma I grab her hand as we follow Hagrid to help him catch what's been aggravating the Centaurus at night.
"What'd you do?" I ask
"Kicked someone off his broom while he was practicing, what about you?"
"Annoyed Sev in front of a professor"
She nods laughing as we walk around the Forbidden Forest with Hagrid, I frown hearing something following us.
Glancing back I slow so I fall behind with Emma waiting, tilting my head I look at a bush.
Feeling something hit my chest I frown before diving into the bush hearing a groan, pulling it out with me I pin it down holding it's arms behind it's back.
"Alright ugly stop fighting" I grunt.
Hearing hoof beats I keep it pinned looking up at the Centaurus "Found your pest" I say grunting at it trying to get free, moving my body to pin its upper body I giggle seeing Emma poke it with a stick "really a ghoul" Emma adds.
"I'm keeping it" I say proudly.
"It's on school property Hermione, they have a say in this"
Getting up I pull it up with me "It's a female and very young" one of the Centaurus says.
Nodding I sit down locking my legs around it while pinning it's arms across it's chest like a straight jack shushing it "Calm down, you're okay" I coo waiting for Hagrid to notice us missing.
One hour later
Handing the ghoul some insects I watch as she's eats them happily "That's a good girl" I coo petting her head.
Seeing Hagrid finally return looking panicked I wave at him but laugh when the ghoul throws a rock at him.
"I found a pet" I say motioning to the leash and harness I Transfigured for her after Transfiguring her a simple black dress.
Hearing him call the end of detention I gently tug the leash getting the ghoul to follow me.
Stepping into the castle I pet her as Hagrid talks to the old goat motioning to me.
"I'm sure we can have it sent somewhere nice" he says holding his hand out for the leash.
Stepping back I tightened my hold on it shaking my head "No, she's mine I found her, I subdued her, and put clothes on her she's mine" I say glaring at him.
"I'm sure your guardian would prefer not having a ghoul in her home" he says.
"My Aunt would love it because they are noisy and aggravating like us so Story is mine, I followed the rules with catching one in the wild and the Centaurus witnessed this. She was not harmed, she accepted food and clothes from me"
Seeing him reach out to grab the leash I snarl moving it behind my back "Albus I do hope you are not trying to force a girl to abandon her new pet that has clearly bonded with her" McGonagall says coming up.
"She can not keep it at school it would disrupt the students sleeping" he says glaring at me.
"No, because I'm in my own room in the founders rooms not with my house mates as is my right being an Heir of the founders, Story could stay in there and wouldn't disrupt them till my aunt comes to pick her up" I say smirking at him.
He turns walking away from us as McGonagall leads us back to our room through the Ravenclaw house "I will contact your aunt to come collect your pet, but he will try to convince her to not take it".
I nod smiling at her before heading in finding Lily on the couch frowning at Story "It's ugly" she says laughing.
"Shut up she's perfect"
