"Remus you look fine" lily promised and Remus gave her a worried look,holding up a knitted jumper.It was a brown knitted jumper that had different patterns across it,Remus' favourite jumper in which Lily was sure he had worn already.I promise you,you look fine. Remus looked at himself in Lilys mirror,he wore a pair of blue baggy jeans and a black tshirt.He had paired the outfit with his black converse upon Lily's suggestion.Are you sure? i don't need a jumper? Lily sighed,looking at Remus softly."Remus.You look perfect,i promise." Remus took one last look in the mirror before nodding.
Lily reached forwards and untucked Remus' thin silver chain necklace from underneath his tshirt as he put his watch on.Lily wore a small black,thin strap dress,paired with her leather jacket,a pair of tights and her favourite boots."ready?" Remus nodded and the pair left the apartment,getting into the taxi that waited outside for them.
Remus sent James a text,describing where outside the club they were stood and a few minutes later Remus caught sight of the familiar messy head of curls.James waved enthusiastically as him and Regulus aproached Lily and Remus.It doesn't start for another twenty minutes so we're just waiting in sirius' dressing room Regulus signed and Remus nodded,following after James and Regulus.
The sound of yelling came from one dressing room in particular and both James and Regulus groaned in unison.They walked into the small room and Sirius paused,He and the blonde girl Remus recognised from his first visit to the coffee shop were frozen still,Sirius' arm wrapped around the girl holding her in a headlock while the girl had her arms wrapped around Sirius' waist."Will you please leave eachother alone?!" James complained as he pulled the girl out of Sirius' grip."she started it" Sirius smirked before looking over to the newly formed crowd at the door,spotting Remus and Lily.
A smile broke out on Sirius' face as he bounded over to the pair stood at the door,pushing Regulus out the way.Sirius wrapped Lily in a hug,thanking her for coming before pulling back and placing his hands on her shoulders."cute outfit" Sirius nodded and Lily smiled "thanks,Sirius this is my girlfriend Mary.Mary this is Sirius" Sirius shook Marys hand with a wink and a warm smile that was easily returned from Mary as she thanked him for letting her tag along.
Sirius moved to let the girls walk into the dressing room before looking up at Remus with a smile.Sirius wrapped his arms around Remus' neck,pulling him into a hug.They stayed there for a few seconds before Sirius pulled back,attempting to sign with his hands,his right working perfectly,his left obstructed by the cast.He huffed and Remus brought up a finger and tapped it against his own lips."Thank you for coming.You look great" Sirius spoke and Remus smiled,feeling himself blush slightly.Thank you,you look amazing Remus watched as a blush now formed on Sirius' cheek but it was soon ignored when Sirius grabbed Remus' hand and pulled him into the dressing room and over to the others.
Once they were all introduced, James showed everyone out of the dressing room and into the clubs main room where Sirius would be performing.The bar floor had been cleared,a big banner saying 'guest concert night' hung up above the small stage where Remus guessed Sirius would be performing.James brought the group to stand across the front so that Remus,James and Regulus all landed near the middle.One they had found a space,the girls disappeared to get everyone drinks,leaving Remus,Regulus and James to keep their spaces.
After another few minutes,the first act came on,A girl who sang a few songs,Remus wasn't fond however because he wasn't able to pick up the beat of the slow songs.Next,Came a middle aged man who did some form of country songs tribute which got the crowd going but once again Remus could barely feel the beat.Sirius came next,walking onto the stage as his friends cheered and yelled for him making him smile,including Remus who just clapped along,a smile on his face.
"okay,so i'm going to start with a few very upbeat,fun songs really get the beat going" Sirius winked at Remus who was reading his lips from where he stood,smiling at the gesture."and then i do have one last song which is a little different" Sirius prepared himself,placing the microphone in the holder and nodding at the music player.
Remus had never quite felt anything like this,he watched as Sirius sang and danced on the stage,moving around with ease and singing into the crowd.Remus wouldn't know if Sirius actually was a good singer or not but he could atleast appreciate how good he looked while doing it.With confirmation from Lily that Sirius was in her words "fucking crazy.So good" Remus laughed and watched from the front row,feeling the vibrations from the speakers that sat on the floor,rumbling through his feet.
It got to the last song and Sirius quickly climbed off of the stage,grabbing another drink of water from James before making his way back up to the stage."Okay,Now this song- well i heard this song not too long ago on the radio and i immediately thought of someone who has grown to be very special to me actually." Sirius looked almost nervously over to where Lily stood beside Remus.Remus watched confusedly as lily nodded,giving him a thumbs up in encouragement."And i really hope he enjoys this song and knows just how much he means to everyone around him.So,i really hope you all enjoy" Sirius finished before taking the microphone off of the stand and holding it in his hands.
Remus watched as Sirius shook his hand out,taking a deep breath as the songs introduction played,The song was soon recognised by everyone,except for Remus, as 'Your song' by Elton John.For the first half of the song Remus just watched as Sirius got into it,singing along with the slow tune.After a while,Sirius started making his way down to where Remus and the others stood,standing directly infront of Remus.
Sirius held out his left hand,allowing Remus to place his hand into Sirius'.Sirius took Remus' hand and brought it up to rest flat against sirius' chest before joining back in with the song,the lyrics showing on the screen behind the stage.

Remus held his hand flat against Sirius' chest,feeling the vibrations as he sang,looking directly at Remus.The song finished and Sirius moved the microphone away from his mouth to place his hand on top of Remus that still rested on his chest.The crowd cheered and Sirius smiled at Remus before taking his hand and pressing a kiss against his knuckles.Remus smiled as Sirius walked back onto the stage,a beaming smile on his face."Thank you everybody!" he yelled before walking off of the exit towards his dressing room.
Remus stood looking at the stage before looking over at Lily,Regulus and James who now stood together."please tell me you liked it" James smiled and Remus let a small smile creep onto his face before looking at the stage confusedly.That was for me? Remus signed,his eyes flicking deperately between Lily and Regulus who both nodded.But he said- "he really likes you Remus.He may not have said it in the clearest way but he does" James nodded and Remus let out a breath still looking between the three of them he sang to me? Remus signed and Regulus smiled He sang for you.He cares about you a lot. Regulus replied and Remus smiled slowly."He's in the dressing room.I think you two have some thing to work out" James spoke,winking at Remus who laughed before nodding.
Remus felt as though he couldn't walk fast enough,the way to Sirius' dressing room hadn't felt this long before had it? He finally made it,seeing Sirius pacing around the room,his hands figeting together."Remus" he paused,looking at him in the door way.Can i come in? Remus asked and Sirius nodded.Remus walked into the room,slowly closing the door behind him before turning towards Remus.That was- "did you hate it? i'm so sorry if i made you uncomfortable but i just" Remus stepped forwards,placing his hands on Sirius' jaw and stopping him from talking,which he hadn't exactly thought through because now he couldn't sign to him but by the smile that spread across Sirius' face he guessed he was catching on by the look on Remus' face.
"can i kiss you?" Sirius asked and Remus' smile grew even bigger than before as he nodded,pulling Sirius' face towards him and pressing their lips together.Sirius rested his hands on Remus' hips,trying his hardest to hold back the smile that threatened to come through as their lips met.After a few seconds Remus pulled away but kept their faces close,resting his forehead against Sirius'.They stayed there for a second,Remus' thumbs gently stroking across Sirius' jaw before he pulled back to look at him.
The pair smiled at eachother,Sirius' hands still on Remus' hips and Remus' still cupping Sirius' face.Remus carefully dropped his hands but didn't move any further away from him.Thank you,i loved it Remus signed and Sirius looked up at him with a big smile.You're amazing Sirius' smile spread to Remus who grinned at him before pulling him into another quick kiss.
Suddenly,Sirius startled,looking around Remus who obviously hadn't heard the loud enterance of Marlene who held her hands in the air,jumping up and down."Jesus Marlene" Sirius laughed,standing beside Remus,a hand on his lower back.The rest of the group appeared and poured into the room.Remus watched as James ran into Sirius,tackling him into a hug and lifting him up,jumping around."put me down,you big softie!" Sirius yelled through his laughs,landing on his feet when James let him go.
Remus looked at Lily who stood infront of him,smiling up at him with her signature knowing smile.You're a menace Remus signed,a smile growing on his face that he couldn't seem to resist.Turned out well though,didn't it? Lily asked and Remus rolled his eyes.Yes,Yes it did Remus looked over to Sirius who was rubbing his knuckles into Regulus' hair earning himself a punch to the balls.The group laughed as Sirius doubled over,groaning and cursing at Regulus.
The group made their way outside and seperated off towards their respective taxis or drivers,Leaving Sirius,James,Regulus,lily and Remus stood outside of the door."i'll see you tomorrow?" Sirius asked,taking Remus' hand in his.Remus nodded,pulling Sirius into a kiss before leaving,following Lily to their taxi.
