Harry stares and Draco asks Pansy for advice.
The BETTER trio
Pansy Parkinson: Draco Lucius Malfoy.
Blaise Zambini: draco what did you do
Blaise Zambini: she said your full name
Blaise Zambini: youre in so much trouble
Pansy Parkinson: He didn’t answer me all night and now he's not in class
Pansy Parkinson: And my sources say he is at his house
Blaise Zambini: who are your sources
Pansy Parkinson: They have requested to stay anonymous
Draco Malfoy: It’s Potter. Potter is the only one I told.
Pansy Parkinson: DRACO.
Pansy Parkinson: You bloody daft git.
Blaise Zambini: draco shes using punctuation youre a dead man
Blaise Zambini: wait how does potter know youre in your house
Pansy Parkinson: draco malfoy i know where you live
Draco Malfoy: Evidently.
Draco Malfoy: I’m coming to class late.
Pansy Parkinson: Care to give a reason?
Draco Malfoy: I overslept.
Blaise Zambini: what
Pansy Parkinson: YOU overslept?
Pansy Parkinson: Blaise are we sure this is actually draco
Draco Malfoy: Yes it’s actually me, bloody hell.
Draco Malfoy: I was up late.
Draco Malfoy: Pansy stop thinking, I can feel your rubbish thoughts from my house.
Pansy Parkinson: Youre not telepathic you know nothing
Draco Malfoy: Die.
Draco Malfoy: I can feel you plotting something.
Draco Malfoy: Pansy stop. Pay attention to class so I don’t miss anything.
Pansy Parkinson: Cant, too busy plotting schemes.

Two bisexuals and their favourite redhead
Ron Weasley: malfoy is late
Hermione Granger: Is that a question or a statement?
Ron Weasley: im not sure
Harry Potter: He told me he was going to be late
Ron Weasley: im sorry i must be misreading
Ron Weasley: he told you?????
Hermione Granger: Harry, what happened at Malfoy’s house last night?
Harry Potter: I gave him his stuff back and thanked him for what he said
Hermione Granger: I don’t see how that would affect his schedule.
Harry Potter: I also said he’s not a bad influence because he is trying to be a good person
Ron Weasley: i think I figured out why malfoy is late
Hermione Granger: You think, Ron?
Hermione Granger: No wonder he looks as pale as a ghost.
Hermione Granger: You made the roach think about his actions and how they affect people.
Hermione Granger: The bloke was probably up all night
Harry Potter: I don’t think it was me
Hermione Granger: He hasn’t looked at you once since he’s walked in. Not even an insult or a glare thrown your way.
Ron Weasley: he usually says something insulting or tries to pierce your soul with his bloody eyes
Ron Weasley: this must be a new record for him
Ron Weasley: Oh we’re back to paying attention to class okay guys.
Hermione Granger: I am paying attention, Harry is staring at Malfoy.

Harry Potter < – > Draco Malfoy
Draco Malfoy: Potter.
Harry Potter: Yes?
Draco Malfoy: You’re staring.
Harry Potter: Oh, sorry.
Draco Malfoy: Don’t apologise, it’s annoying.
—
Pansy Parkinson < – > Draco Malfoy
Draco Malfoy: As much as I will regret, and feel nauseated by, I am coming to you for help. I need advice.
Pansy Parkinson: You will probably not regret it
Pansy Parkinson: What can I help my favourite mate with?
Draco Malfoy: You’re not bragging? Not even after earlier?
Pansy Parkinson: Oh I definitely will later but for now you seem distressed.
Pansy Parkinson: I have never seen you like this. It is strange.
Draco Malfoy: It’s Potter’s fault.
Draco Malfoy: When he showed up at my house last night, he was being nice.
Draco Malfoy: Pansy, he said I was a good influence on him because I a trying to be a good person and that all anyone can do is try or something like that
Draco Malfoy: What the bollocks does that even mean?!
Draco Malfoy: And worst of all, he touched my wrist.
Draco Malfoy: My left wrist, Pansy.
Draco Malfoy: Who does he think he is?!
Draco Malfoy: He showed up at my house, gave me my things back, and thanked me.
Draco Malfoy: Who does that?!
Pansy Parkinson: Decent people, draco
Pansy Parkinson: What exactly do you need my advice for?
Draco Malfoy: My mum wants to invite him over for dinner tonight to apologise for my father’s behaviour yesterday.
Draco Malfoy: On one hand, I could lie to my mum and save the bloke the awkwardness that fills a Malfoy Apology Dinner.
Draco Malfoy: Or I could invite him and hope for the best.
Pansy Parkinson: Hold on, Im writing a paragraph, proper grammar and punctuation and everything just for you draco
Draco Malfoy: Oh thanks.
Pansy Parkinson: The Draco Malfoy I knew would have automatically chosen the first one. He would’ve said it in less kind terms too. But you gave another option– Hope. You said “Hope for the best”, which shows me that a part of you wants to have that dinner with Potter to possibly reconcile more than what happened yesterday. The Draco I knew did not have hope, he did not have any concern for Potter, and I don’t know what happened over the past few days, but what I know is that you are concerned about Potter’s feelings now. Even in class, you haven’t thrown any glares, which might as well be a new record for you. To want something is to hope for it, if you hope for the best out of the dinner, it means you want a good outcome with your family and Potter, which is not something I'd ever thought you'd want, but like I said before, you've changed. Despite how much I hate it, Potter is right, trying is all anyone can do. Having hope is good, and for you, hope is in the form of Harry Bloody Potter. Invite the bloke over, I'll motivate you to become a better person, a new Draco.
Draco Malfoy: That was unexpected.
Draco Malfoy: I didn’t know you gave not-arse advice.
Pansy Parkinson: One day Ill get a normal compliment from you
Draco Malfoy: On my tombstone.
Pansy Parkinson: gl and let me know how it goes, you bastard
