Pink and Green
Earlier that evening, Annabeth had been hard at work in the Gryffindor common room, surrounded by books and scrolls. Her eyes were red-rimmed from lack of sleep, but there was a determined glint in them. When the rest of her friends arrived for dinner, she couldn’t contain her excitement any longer.
“Guys, I’ve got it!” Annabeth yelled as the six of them gathered in the dining hall for dinner, a special provision thanks to McGonagall.
“What is it?” Percy asked, raising an eyebrow.
“We can get my cousin to help, Seaweed Brain,” Annabeth explained. “Magnus can help us figure out what’s going on with Nico and Will. And his partner can help us understand the strange presence Nico keeps feeling in the shadows.”
“But how will we bring them here?” Leo asked.
“Simple,” Annabeth said with a grin. “We use the upcoming Halloween party as an excuse. We tell McGonagall we need help with a special project.”
“This is too detailed of a plan for you to just come up with now,” Jason observed suspiciously. “You stayed up all last night, didn’t you?”
“How did you know?!” Annabeth demanded.
“You’re high on sugar-filled caffeine,” Jason replied. “I saw you skipping in here.”
“He’s right,” Leo snickered. “And suspiciously observant.”
“I am not!” Annabeth protested.
“Prove it,” Jason challenged. “I didn’t even notice your untied boots till now.”
Leo burst out laughing as Annabeth looked down and saw that her boots were indeed untied. “You proved my point!” he said, still laughing.
Nico snickered quietly.
“Leo, be quiet before I tell them about the time Frank was in cat form and witnessed you and Calypso—”
“Shut up, please!” Leo interrupted, looking mortified.
“No, I’m curious,” Will added, a mischievous grin on his face. “Exploring new posi—”
“Why don’t
we check on the trio!” Leo exclaimed, cutting Will off and running towards the Gryffindor table, dragging Annabeth with him. Nico and Will followed behind.
“Who knew Leo was a switch?” Nico remarked with a smirk. “Makes me curious about others.”
Jason choked on the biscuit he was eating, certain it wouldn’t taste as good coming back up. Once he stopped coughing, Percy stood and dragged him to the Gryffindor table as well, paying no mind to his growing blush and the bewildered eyes following them.
After annoying the trio for a while, Will and Nico left the rest and slipped to the headmistresses room.
Ginger-root nico muttered tapping on the well worn gargoyle and slipping inside.

The atmosphere in Professor McGonagall’s office was tense. The flickering candlelight cast long shadows across the walls, and the headmistress herself sat behind her desk, looking at the two young professors standing before her with a mixture of curiosity and concern.
“Nico, Will, what brings you here at this hour?” McGonagall asked, her voice stern but not unkind.
Nico exchanged a glance with Will before speaking. “Professor, we need to discuss something important. It’s about the mission we’re on.”
McGonagall raised an eyebrow. “Go on.”
“We’ve been sensing a strange presence around the castle,” Nico continued, his tone serious. “It’s something we can’t quite identify, and it’s been growing stronger.”
Will nodded. “We believe it’s connected to the reason we were sent here in the first place. But we need help to figure out exactly what it is and how to deal with it.”
McGonagall leaned back in her chair, her eyes narrowing slightly. “And what kind of help do you propose?”
Nico took a deep breath. “There’s someone who specializes in dealing with supernatural threats. His name is Magnus Chase. He has experience with Norse mythology and has faced many challenges similar to what we’re dealing with here.”
“And his partner, Alex Fierro, could help us understand the strange presence Nico keeps feeling in the shadows,” Will added. “They’re both incredibly skilled, and we trust them.”
McGonagall considered this for a moment, tapping her fingers on the desk. “Inviting outsiders into Hogwarts is not a decision I make lightly. But given the circumstances, I will consider it. Is there anyone else you wish to involve?”
Nico and Will exchanged another glance, this time with a hint of a smile. “Actually, yes,” Nico said. “We’d also like to invite Calypso. She’s... a special friend of Leo’s, and her presence would be a great morale boost for him. Plus, she has skills that could be useful.”
McGonagall’s expression softened slightly. “I see. You wish to surprise Mr. Valdez?”
“Yes,” Will said, nodding. “He’s been working hard, and we think seeing Calypso would do him a lot of good. Besides, she’s quite capable herself.”
The headmistress was silent for a few moments, weighing their request. Finally, she gave a small nod. “Very well. I will send word to Magnus Chase and his friends, as well as to Calypso. But understand this: their presence here must remain discreet. We cannot afford to alarm the students or staff unnecessarily.”
“Thank you, Professor,” Nico said, relief evident in his voice. “We’ll make sure everything is handled carefully.”
McGonagall stood, signaling the end of their meeting. “I trust you will. Keep me informed of any developments. And Nico, Will—good luck.”
As they left McGonagall’s office, Nico and Will couldn’t help but exchange a triumphant look. The first step of their plan was in motion.

Back in the Gryffindor common room, the group of demigods were busy with their plans when Nico and Will returned. Leo looked up, curious. “What did McGonagall say?”
Nico grinned. “She agreed. Magnus, Alex, and Calypso are coming.”
Leo’s eyes widened in surprise. “Calypso’s coming? Really?”
Will nodded. “Yeah, we thought you could use a little surprise. Plus, she’ll be a great help.”
Leo’s face broke into a wide smile. “You guys are the best.”
Annabeth looked thoughtful. “Magnus and Alex are excellent choices. They’ll be able to help us figure out what’s going on.”
“Exactly,” Nico said. “And with Calypso here, we’ll have an even stronger team.”
Jason, who had been leaning against the wall, straightened up. “This is great news. We need all the help we can get.”
Percy nodded in agreement. “Yeah, especially with everything that’s been happening. The more allies we have, the better.”
“Alright,” Annabeth said, her resolve firming. “We have a lot to prepare. Let’s make sure everything is ready for when they arrive.”
“And by the way, Magnus’s sword talks… and sings very poorly”
Jason blinked “Ok.”
“Magnus and Alex are technically dead”
“Of course they are” Nico says
“And Alex is gender fluid and a shapeshifter child of Loki”
“Like from avengers” Percy adds
“Let me get this straight yours cuz is on level with casper the ghost as well as his partner who is also a badass genderfluid child of the loki dude from avengers and he has a sword that can sing despacito” Leo summarized
“Well yeah, not the words i would have used but sure”
Tomorrow’s going to be interesting

The sun had just dipped below the horizon, casting the Hogwarts grounds in a twilight glow. The air was crisp, carrying the scents of autumn leaves and the distant hint of a coming frost. Nico, Will, Percy, Annabeth, Jason, and Leo stood by the edge of the Forbidden Forest, where they had arranged to meet their new allies. There was an air of anticipation and excitement mixed with a bit of nervousness.
Leo was especially fidgety, unable to keep still. "Do you think they’ll find it okay?" he asked, his eyes scanning the darkening sky.
“They’ll be fine,” Nico reassured him. “Magnus has a knack for finding his way.”
A few moments later, a shimmering portal opened near the forest’s edge, and three figures stepped through. First came Magnus, with his blond hair tousled in a way that looked both effortless and stylish. He wore a leather jacket over a navy blue hoodie, jeans, and combat boots. A silver ring with a light pink gem adorned his left hand, catching the light.
Beside him was Alex, their green and pink hair standing out vibrantly. They wore a fitted black jacket with silver studs, dark jeans, and boots similar to Magnus's. On their left hand was a matching silver ring, almost identical to Magnus's except for the green emerald hinting at Alex's color scheme . Their eyes were sharp and observant, taking in their surroundings with a hint of amusement.
Finally, Calypso emerged, her eyes immediately locking onto Leo’s. She wore a flowing dress in shades of blue and green that seemed to shimmer in the twilight, her hair cascading in loose waves down her back.
“Leo!” Calypso called out, her voice filled with joy.
“Calypso!” Leo shouted back, breaking into a run. They met halfway, and Leo swept her up in a tight hug, spinning her around before setting her down gently. “I missed you so much,” he whispered, his voice thick with emotion.
“I missed you too,” Calypso replied, her eyes sparkling.
Magnus and Alex walked over to the rest of the group, Magnus extending his hand. “Hey, long time no see. Good to be here.”
“Glad you could make it,” Percy said, shaking Magnus’s hand. “We’ve got quite the situation on our hands.”
“Yeah, we figured as much,” Alex chimed in. “The magical disturbance was hard to miss.”
Annabeth stepped forward, her analytical gaze taking in Magnus and Alex. “We’re dealing with something we don’t fully understand yet. Your expertise in Norse mythology and dealing with supernatural threats is going to be invaluable.”
Magnus nodded. “We’ll do what we can. But first, let’s get inside and catch up on what’s been happening.”
As the group started heading back towards the castle, Nico fell into step with Alex. “Thanks for coming. I’ve been sensing a strange presence in the shadows, and it’s been getting stronger. Any insights you have would be helpful.”
Alex nodded thoughtfully. “I’ll see what I can pick up. It sounds like it could be something pretty nasty.”
Meanwhile, Percy and Magnus were discussing the recent strange events at Hogwarts. “So, how have you been dealing with everything?” Magnus asked.
Percy shrugged. “It’s been challenging, but we’re managing. Having you guys here will make a big difference.”
Jason, walking beside Will, glanced over at Leo and Calypso. “Think they’ll be okay?” he asked quietly.
Will smiled. “Yeah, they’ll be fine. Leo’s been missing her a lot. Having Calypso here will be good for him.”
“Hopefully they aren’t too wild”
By the time they reached the castle, the stars were beginning to twinkle in the night sky. McGonagall was waiting for them at the entrance, her expression a mix of sternness and relief.
“Welcome to Hogwarts,” she said, her voice warm despite her formal tone. “I trust your journey was uneventful?”
Magnus nodded. “Yes, Professor. Thank you for allowing us to come.”
McGonagall’s eyes softened slightly as she looked at the group. “I understand you have much to discuss. I’ve arranged for a private room where you can talk freely. Follow me.”
The group followed her through the dimly lit hallways of the castle until they reached a cozy room with a large table and several chairs. As they settled in, McGonagall excused herself, leaving them to their discussions.
“So,” Percy began, looking around at his friends and their new allies. “Let’s get down to business. We have a lot to cover and not much time.”
Nico nodded. “Magnus, Alex, we’ll need all the information you have on dealing with supernatural entities. And Calypso, your knowledge of magic will be crucial too.”
Calypso smiled. “I’ll do whatever I can to help.”
Annabeth glanced at Magnus and Alex's hands, noticing the matching rings. “I see congratulations are in order,” she said with a grin.
Magnus blushed slightly, and Alex smirked. “Thanks. We figured it was about time.”
Leo, catching sight of the rings, couldn’t resist a tease. “Matching rings, huh? That’s so cute. When’s the wedding?”
Alex rolled their eyes playfully. “Keep it up, Valdez, and you won’t be invited.”
Everyone laughed, the tension easing as they got used to being together.
When everyone stopped laughing Alex’s eyes grew serious
“When you called us about your problem and our friend Sam researched a bit and-” he hesitated
Magnus held his hand supportively
and continued
“We think the beings in the shadows are nightwalkers and they are being controlled by another deity”
….
“What the actual fuck”
